Sneaky Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I heard the ride might get announced today, any truth to this? There has been no announcement today, nor is it known when (or even if) they will announce it.
Paradox Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Is there anything out there to suggest that this could be something different than what Walibi Belgium is getting?
Sneaky Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 very little is known about the coaster, but looking at the mess of footers that has been poured, it won't be the same as the Walibi Belgium ride.
Nrthwnd Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Dirt shot from my recent trip to WH, September 12. Mmmmmm, dirt pile.
Superbatboy Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I would love to see another Alpina Blitz type coaster, something about compact coasters that pack a punch is so intriguing.
RyanTPM Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 ^Really hard to work out what type of Mack coaster this will be. Anyone have any idea of when the announcement will be?
Nrthwnd Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 ^^ My photos of the site from my tour there, last month (to post in my TR) are going to look so lame, lol. Oh well, the dirt freeks will go crazy with what I got for them. The thing looks like it's coming along well. Could it be another mystery coaster, like Phantasialand's, hmm? Or not.
Sneaky Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I was at the park today and took some pictures. I took them quite hastily, so they're not great.
RyanTPM Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 ^Thank you for the update, certainly getting interesting and surely vertical construction isn't too far away now.
_koppen Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 These foundations just look so weird, can't wait to see what they have in store for us!
StealthFan Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 ^Thank you for the update, certainly getting interesting and surely vertical construction isn't too far away now. Has any steelwork turned up yet and been placed in a storage area?
BDG Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Looks like it will have a lifthill. This footer right here... ...will probably end up looking like this: photo: Nigloland Walibi photo: Laurens van Heerde Nigloland photo: Nigloland
oriolat Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 ^Does anybody have an idea if they are going to announce what this is officially? I mean, everything points to a Mack coaster, but we have no layout or stats, right?
Superbatboy Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 ^The only stat I've seen is 105ft tall on RCDB. So it would seem that's too tall for a spinning coaster which I've seen rumored, but you never know. I'm still holding out hopes for an Alpina Blitz type ride. It honesty could be anything though, Mack is capable of building just about any ride type.
Superbatboy Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I wonder if the ride could also be a clone of Storm at Etnaland. It would match the 105ft height this ride is rumored to be
linearinduction Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 These foundations just look so weird, can't wait to see what they have in store for us! These Deep Foundations are tied together like those on Wicked, BomBora, and Cannibal. I will eventually break out my BomBora Foundation Photos one day. lol
CoasterMateo Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Could we be seeing some sort of Impulse clone? Maybe a Mack mega-lite sort of coaster? I guess we can only guess what there is in store for Walibi Holland!
RCT3Bross Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 So I don't know how legit this is but Looopings.nl claims we get soon more information from parks Halloween mascot Eddie the Clown.
JordyC Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) According to rumors, this are the possible supports for the new coaster for Walibi Holland in 2016. The supports were seen at a steel construction company in Belgium, where the supports for the coaster are fabricated. source: www.looopings.nl Edited October 17, 2015 by JordyC
Superbatboy Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 The supports look exactly like the ones on Cobra's Curse

RCT3Bross Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 So apparently their new coaster going to be Yellow: Source. Well the color at least pops. What I'm more interested in now is the track design, Mack uses the triple beam for many of their rides including the rumored mega and spinners.
