Pardon the interruption, but when did work on Thunderbird begin? We're getting a new ride here at SFMM, but they've already removed an airtime feature and are running late! Seems like your ride went up real quick!

 

You're also talking about two different park manufacturers. Rocky Mountain Construction, who is building Twisted Colossus, has a much more complex construction process than a B&M, like Thunderbird. You also have to account for Six Flags management, who are notorious for opening late attractions.

^ Which won't be until next week. More snow and ice sometime today and single digit temps (possibly in the negatives) on Friday. Mother nature hasn't cooperated quite as well as she did when Thunderbird was under construction.
