^I could see them doing that too! I really wouldn't be surprised if we saw something similar to Cheetah Hunt. Maybe on a smaller scale but something with a sprawling layout zooming through the woods! I'm sure whatever they do will be awesome!

I said it before in the thread, but I think that if the park were to build a steel coaster, it wouldn't be some huge hypercoaster at first. I could very much see a Eurofighter or Sky Rocket like coaster because it appeals more to families and takes up a smaller space. If it is successful (which it should be) then the park could expand and build a larger one.

I have a hunch that it might be Time Machine from Hard Rock Park... It's a full size B&M with a nice discount.

I thought it was already established the coaster was sold to a park in China?

Oh Really? I never heard anything about it.

I must have misread something on the Hard Rock Park thread. It's still up for sale.

I'm glad to see some work going into Thanksgiving. I thought it had the least attention of all of the areas. Well, looks like I'm going to have to shoot for another visit in 2015!

Led Zep is still for sale. You can see it on italintl.com

Which means it is not coming to Holiday World in 2015. It wouldn't be on there if they had already purchased it. I don't see why people thought it was next year's addition anyway. It just wouldn't fit the park in my opinion.

^ Yeah especially for the plot land that is rumored to be used for this coaster. It's not exactly flat, neither is any other piece of land at Holiday World. It wouldn't look right at all.

The rumors I have heard have been a steel coaster, so all I can hope for the Mega-lite to make it's debut in the U.S.

Keep hoping....I don't expect Holiday World to ever work with Intamin again after PP

I'm about ready to quit this community because people still pretend like this is actually a real thing. As if a park who wants a new product is going to be as petty as a prepubescent teenage girl and hold a big grudge against one company that the prototype that they agreed to buy didn't work out.

No they expect a manufacturer to support and stand by their products. Its one thing to agree to buy an prototype and possibly have some issues with it the first and maybe second season and another thing to have the manufacturer ignore you and refuse to fix their ride.

This is Holiday World not Cedar Fair or Six Flags so they can make every decision on their own. They expect the their hard earned money that they invested to provide them with a quality product. Holiday World is a park that takes so much pride on their customer SERVICE and is a Industry model for parks worldwide and I would assume they expect the same for their vendors. Their are plenty of other manufacturers who can provide cutting edge rides and service at the same time.

I think if it was coming to China, I would know about it since I'm currently studying Chinese in China. Maybe Yin knows. Yin? Heard of Time Machine coming to China?

I just knew there's a rumor about it, I don't think it's likely to happen.

Holiday World can't go wrong with Gerstlauer IMO. Euro Fighter, Bobsled, family coaster, launch coaster, spinner are all pretty good with pretty nice prices.

^ I've said it before and I'll say until the day they announce whatever they're building, I think it's going to be a Mack. It just makes sense IMO. It would be two of the great families in the industry working together (the Koch's still own HW). Then you combine the fact that Mack takes theming very seriously with HW taking claim as the first theme park ever. HW also seems to have a recent commitment to theming, judging on the recent projects they've been working on going into this season. IMO, it would be a win-win situation for both parties involved.

^I agree. I'd love to see a Mack family launch coaster (like Manta) at HW, or better yet, something similar to Alpina Blitz. Both would be family friendly (yet thrilling), reliable, fairly inexpensive, and have super uper duper comfortable trains.

When a multi-million-dollar investment has to be scrapped... yes, this is most definitely a real thing.

I hope to see a Mack or RMC

I would not see an RMC happening. Mack however, not only would I love to see this, I actually see it as being a feasible option for this park. You can probably make a great multi launcher, and keep it family friendly.

How not? They are very family friendly, Hoiday World is know for woodies. They have a 48 inch height requirement. IMO RMC is perfect for HW.

But Mack would be good to. I've never rode a Mack, but they look very fun!

How not? Because they already have 3 of the best woodies, they lack steel.

^ RMC makes steel coasters, they may have a wood structure but the track is steel

I would love to see Holiday World get an RMC.

That's what I was thinking

Or what about something like 7 Dwarfs mine train at Disney?

No offense, but there is nothing that screams family-friendly about a RMC coaster. The Voyage has a 48 inch requirement and I don't consider it family-friendly. Not saying RMC couldn't design a family-friendly coaster, but that doesn't seem like their style.
