let1gre
It has a very Mega-Lite design, but the measurements are larger. So it's a Mega-Full.
KDCOASTERFAN
Well I concluded my 2010 season yesterday with a final visit to the park for the year & good lord was it packed!! For the first time in all my years of going RY actually had a line spilling out onto the midway & don't even get me started on how 305 was last night. Â On the way out I asked some higher ups manning the gate if they know what's up for 2011 & said that, whatever's coming for the remaining parks in the chain simply hasn't been released but they said to keep checking the website for details. braztaz
Crazy, I've never seen RY with a line barely out of the station! Â What was the longest wait of the night?
yournamehere
I waited almost 2 hours for volcano, intimidator line was back to the tunnel at 630 ish.
KDCOASTERFAN
I waited almost 2 hours for volcano, intimidator line was back to the tunnel at 630 ish. Â Â By the time I headed back to 305 for a night ride(passed on it) the line was all the way up to FOF.Grizz also had a line down the ramp at around 9 pm or so. CardCraze
The line for Intimidator is usually fast moving. It was at the very front of the que, and that was about a fifteen or twenty minute wait.

yournamehere
It was nice to see that they had flight of fear open during the day this year instead of closing it completley like in years past.
Homeboy23
Yeah I have been working at Rebell Yell for the past month and every Saturday we have had a line all the way down to the midway starting around 4-5. Â From opening until 4 the line would be empty and then all of a sudden tons of people showed up.
CoasterNERD502
From opening until 4 the line would be empty and then all of a sudden tons of people showed up. Â Thats because after 4 everyday, the park had a special discount and admission was only $35.
Intimidator305
On the way out I asked some higher ups manning the gate if they know what's up for 2011 & said that, whatever's coming for the remaining parks in the chain simply hasn't been released but they said to keep checking the website for details. Â This is good news! That means there is still some hope that KD might get a little something for 2011. I really wish Cedar Fair would replace the very old and annoying Sponge-Bob 3-D movies in all of the former Paramount parks...
FeelTheFORCE
I really wish Cedar Fair would replace the very old and annoying Sponge-Bob 3-D movies in all of the former Paramount parks... Â I would assume that KD/CF won't want to keep paying royalty fees forever, so once the current deal runs out I bet it won't be renewed and Sponegbob will be replaced. KDCOASTERFAN
Intimidator 305 rocks my world! They gray outs are weird but yet cool! Â I've never had gray outs on the ride even before the trims were added to the first drop.
jarmor
Well, I rode it again on halloween and I have to say I like the pre trim ride better. Was even talking to some non-coaster geeks at a party last night and they even said the best part was graying out for them. It gave them a sense of disorientation then bam they are flying over the hill. The straps were more comfortable but going down the first drop seemed too controlled. Â Just my opinion... cfc
^I think the trims made the "twisty" part of the ride better when it still had the hard restraints.
jarmor
Yeah no doubt those sections were more bearable. But im sure its been said but I really hope in the offseason they find a way to put the trims on the second drop instead of the first...
pkdcoaster
Drove by the park today and guess what!  They are removing track pieces from I 305  They had at least 2 down from the top of the 2nd hill  Did not have my camera but will try to get pics soon.  Guess they are doing some major re-profiling to the ride to eliminate the black out turn.  JEFF  EDIT:photo credit-Clint Novak Edited November 4, 2010 by pkdcoaster
Skycoastin Steve
^Well that's bizarre. Wonder what changes, if any, are going to be made.
angryemobeaver
Not totally sure if that believable or not, I guess I'll just wait for the photos. Very interesting though, I wander what will change if this is true...

braztaz
That's interesting. If anyone hears any rumors, let us know. I think trims going down the second hill would be a great idea, as you'd still get the speed from the first drop with the airtime on the third hill as well. Fooz
I tihnk the park was probably concerned about the grey outs (and the trims did not stop them from happening). Since the trims seem to be easily movable, and the track being taken off so early in the season, I'd think some real profile changes will be taking place. This is an exciting development regardless of the outcome!
Intimidator305
WOW! Getting right into it I guess! Maybe no more trims?
