HCLcoasters Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Yeah, the good thing is that it doesn't really sway.
Capitalize Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Man oh man, those trim brackets go all the way down the entire drop. That should slow things down a pretty good bit.

netdvn Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Is I305 really getting trims or is everybody jumping to conclusions again?
Yamez Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 No one can confirm nor deny the addition of trims yet. They have not been added yet, if at all. The only thing that is confirmed at the moment is the existence of new hardware on the drop, currently it is not affecting the ride's performance.
robbalvey Posted May 20, 2010 Author Posted May 20, 2010 Is I305 really getting trims or is everybody jumping to conclusions again? Jumping to conclusions. It's very entertaining, actually...
Jness3 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I really hope that they will wait until Memorial Day weekend is over until they do this. Let me ride I305 in it's full glory once, King Dominion, at least once!
Calripkenjr8 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Here is a link to a photo with I305 with a crane next to the lift today. here
jray21 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Jumping to conclusions. It's very entertaining, actually... Well, it did make Tom from Office Space some money!

Capitalize Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I could live with trims before the twisty elements as those were insanely intense, but I fear for the best or second best first drop I've been on...
pkdcoaster Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Safe to say KD will get a new coaster this weekend The only good thing that could come out of this is they remove the trims from the 75ft hill. I wonder if there is gonna be a sale on all the merch. that says 90+ mph It was a fun 2 months while it lasted. JEFF
DarkStitch626 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I know that one of the trains I believe Silverback has been having issues disengaging the lift recently. So perhaps they are looking at that?
AnEscapeArtist Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 One things for sure, this definitely isn't Intamin's fault!
Capitalize Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 ^ How do you figure? Intamin fabricated and Adena constructed the ride about 2 months ago now. I really don't see how any issues the ride is already having is the fault of anyone else.
Homeboy23 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 People can freak out over nothing. That picture with the crane could have been taken anytime between January and March. When someone actually rides it and it slows down on the drop, then I will believe it. And even with that I will probably have to ride it my self.
Capitalize Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 What else can the brace added to the first drop be for, though?
Lady Gaga Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I want to say, we should of known something like this was going to happen. I mean I've seen tons of people on here talking about black/greying out. I can only imagine the reactions of the GP after experiencing a blackout. Look what happened to Goliath at SFMM.
larrygator Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Dale Earnhardt would be very disappointed. Can't they just add restrictor plates?
eddie200330 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Dale Earnhardt would be very disappointed. Can't they just add restrictor plates? Best analogy so far!!!!! I am proud of you Larry......
braztaz Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I'm planning to go Friday. I'll be looking for some differences...
ahecht Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 What else can the brace added to the first drop be for, though? Well, KD seems to really love chaser lights these days
