BiCoastal Kid Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I don't know about the rest of my fellow Americans, but I think I'd much rather see incredibly themed coasters like this and Nemesis built every 5+ years than I would non-themed coasters every two or three. Id at leats like to see a few, because sometimes big rollercoasters are just fun. Like Magnum.
Eunuch Provocateur Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Holy Crap. It looks like one of those "finish it yourself, bitch" rides in RCT. I hate those. Regardless, looks fun.
redunzelizer Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 one more rail for that "hydrated" Immelmann: http://tinyurl.com/exdh7 plus some more construction site pics: http://tinyurl.com/bxuqg
CoasterCrazy Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 This coaster looks like its going to have good scenery and its going to be a fun ride. I hope I can get the chance to ride it one day!
roeterich Posted January 9, 2006 Author Posted January 9, 2006 New pics from some nice perspectives, IMO... click me
Peis Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Pics from the Inclined Immelman http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=20134&start=100&22 (scroll down)
ncf Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 FINALLY! Looks exactly like Dæmonen's immelman, except it's inverted ofcourse... and inclined
The Riddler Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Doesn't look this new photo-update on Onride.de look Sweet (& tight)! Every time it looks better and better, cant wait to ride it in april of a bit later.
Hambone Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Is that an Immelman? That is a weird looking inversion the banking is extreme, but it almost seems to never invert. This ride looks amazing.
ncf Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I really wouldn't call that an immelman, if that's an inversion then Silver Bullet's overbank is one too!! BUT, inversion or not, it looks awesome
Dracosavant Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 That is the coolest Immelman I have ever seen....even if it really is more like an "Inclined Immelman". This coaster looks awesome.
deathmole Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Man that looks good, should be a nice intense experience, and its certainly much tighter than any other B&M Inverted coasters inversions, top stuff! Damn, August cant come fast enough!
Xtreme Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 This coaster looks like an awesome ride experience waiting to happen. Gives me a good reason to go to Germany now.
Hattuchili Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Wow, I havn´t visited onride.de the last days and now they are done with the Immelman! That is great! --Sören
Shockwave Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I don't care if it's an inversion or not, it looks freakin' sweet!
Dracosavant Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 There are two things that this Inclined Immelman has gotten me wondering: A) How fast will you be traveling at its entrance? B) How disorienting / intense will it be to do an inversion like that at any speed? Just look at how tight (compact) the inversion is!
deadwait Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 hello, i b a new person on here! wuld have posted months ago, but i keep forgettin my username (i believe i need attention in a medical sense tee hee!) anyhoo, av just bin on rcdb and they list that as a jr. immelman and second in order of elements....just after the loop! im guessin ur gonna b goin pretty quick, so prob same speed as for the loop. must say, it look pretty beautiful to me! rob xxx
Guy T. Koepp Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 It looks closer to a half batwing than anything else. If that's a certified inversion then so is the overbank on Silver Bullet at Knotts. As well as the leaning loop on Riddlers at 6FMM. Either that or it is .7 of an inversion. Riddlers is 5.7 inversions. Silver Bullet is 6.7 inversions. Black Mamba is 4.7 inversions. Guy "I take my inversions very seriously." Koepp
Astat Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I don't think they're counting it as an inversion: http://www.rcdb.com/id3117.htm Loop, zero-g, "Jr. Immelman," and 2 corkscrews. RCDB says 4 inversions, so this must be the odd one out. *Edit* Yeah, if you check the definition for Jr. Immelman it says it isn't a true inversion.
redunzelizer Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 some more pics of that whatchamacallitwhocaresanywaylement plus evolving Zero-G: http://www.onride.de/viewtopic.php?t=20134&start=216
Rikketick Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Some new pics from the 5G helix, B&M Wanted to cut out because it would be to intensive. We will see and feel, 1st of april i hope!
coastered Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 If that smalllllllll helix is not pullig 5g's than my small car is as fast as a Ferrari or Porsche. My car (1998 Suzuki Baleno Sport)
alpengeist04 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Now this is what a invert should look like.
