The Disneylander
I'll be surprised if Eagle Fortress maintains its ranking as #2. There has been so many debuts over the past year that I think it's going to drop two or three places. Just out of curiosity, how many coasters has Kristen been on so far? Skycoastin Steve
Robb, if you would like to use this picture to illustrate your point about El Toro's wooden track, feel free. I took it back in September while I was there. Never knew it would come in handy in an online coaster pissing match!
Gav
Just throwing this out there, but Mitch has put Jet Rescue at Sea World into the poll (It was missed in the original ballot), so if you have ridden it you can use this editing period to include it...heres the line to copy in: Jet Rescue Sea World AU,y,y,*

Oh well, just makes me consider going back in 2011 for summer even more! Jet Rescue looks a LOT better than Mick Doohan's coaster...that thing was a horrible capacity nightmare and the ride just didn't do anything. Gav
^Agreed, obviously grouping XC 2000s like the ones at Seabreeze, Camelot and Lagoon makes sense because its just the basic standard layout. But grouping stuff like Dragons Fury, Spinball Whizzer, Tarántula and Salama makes no sense because they are completely different to each other. SharkTums
Yeah I agree, I hate lumping Tarantula and Dragon in with the rest. Same with now lumping the horrifyingly good Ultra Twister with Dive Loop with all the others!
ginzo
^If he wanted to be really hardcore, he could dump all the Mega-Lites into one category as well. I was kind of disappointed that Kirnu got included in the generic ZacSpin category.
SharkTums
^But Kirnu is just the generic one. Insane is the, well, INSANE one!!!!!!
Skycoastin Steve
^Are there any Mega-Lites that have a unique layout, or are they all the same?

Skycoastin Steve
^So Intamin is going all B&M on us. Great! Intamin really needs to get their USA mojo going. Only one PnP in the states, no Mega-Lites in the states, and no ZacSpins in the states. We Americans demand more Intamin!
ginzo
^Well, it's mostly up to the parks to order the things. Mega-Lites may be too small for the size-obsessed larger US parks and too expensive for smaller US parks to afford. At least we're getting a new 300 ft. Intamin next year! Skycoastin Steve
^This is true. I305 is without a doubt the most anticipated ride for me for next year, and I'll be going hitting over 100 new coasters. Some of these American park executives need to take a trip overseas and try out a Mega-Lite to see that what they lack in size they (seemingly) make up for in quality. PnP's also seem perfect for the bigger parks. While they are a bit pricey, we've seen parks spend a ton of money on rides much, much, much lower quality than PnP's (coughcoughDarkKnightcoughcough). They're typically big rides, and offer a HUGE thrill. I keep getting a sneaking suspicion that we'll see one at CP in the next few years, but that's just wishful thinking. -Steve "size doesn't ALWAYS matter" Burant
Meteornotes
I still say no mega lite will ever be built in the US. At least not without massive trims or some other way to dumb down the air time. dt
robbalvey
^ Agreed. I never thought I'd ever ride a coaster that was 1/2 the size of Superman or GeForce with the same or maybe even MORE airtime on it!

PKI Jizzman
Yay for Diamondback! and Voyage. LOVE that ride! Maybe when TPR visits Australia, Scooby will get a push up in the polls

coasterdude2011
I'm a little confused with Diamondback at 4 and Behemoth completely dropping out, but I love the fact that intamins take up nearly half of it, and could not agree more with Ravine Flyer being where its at. The poll looks very good.
CreditCrazy
Some surprising results. I wouldn't call Voyage the #1 woodie in the world, but hey, I still like the ride, so it's fine with me. I'm glad to see Bizarro still at #1 steel. I was a little worried about it dropping because of people not like the re-vamp (...) but I guess it affected the ride in a positive way. I'm also really happy to see El Toro ahead of the other pre-fabs; it looks like the best imo. Prowler at #7!? Good for Worlds of Fun adding such a nice little coaster...I would certainly call the place a must-go-to park now. I disagree with Diamondback at #4, but I'm sure it'll drop after a few years. Behemoth opens, everyone goes to CW's, forgets about it...Diamondback opens, everyone goes to KI (including me ), forgets about it...Intimidator will probably be the same. Well, by next year I guess I will have ridden the world's two best wooden coaster and #1 steel! Can't wait to see the rest of the results.
PKI Jizzman
Yeah, it's Ohio. So there's a LOT of people who are like "hm....which is better, Diamondback or Millennium Force?" I talked to Joey, and he's right...not enough people have ridden other better rides to offset the "Ohio Fanboys." That's where it will got a LOT of number one and number two's for DB. I looked a quite a few ballots and that's what I saw a lot of. But having worked there most of the summer, it had 45minute lines pretty much all day. And with 1200+ riders per hour...there's quite a few people who get to ride! I ranked it number nine. It's a great ride, but not the best. The first half of the ride is fantastic....second half...ehhh..buzzkill.

themeparkman25
I am pretty psyched Prowler went as high as it did, it truly is a great coaster. Pun intended. This just made me all the more excited for europe trip too, with Katun, EGF and Blue Fire on the top 11, its going to be awesome! Edit: oh yeah, Goliath at Walibi World too. Make it 4!
