AviatorCoaster Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 All tragedies are horrendous but which were you most affected by or shocked you the hardest? Mine was John Lennon's murder. Even though it happened before my time, I'm heartbroken over it. Mods, I did a search and didn't find anything, if I'm an idiot and there's already a thread, please post.
astroworldfan1 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I think the Black Dahlia murder will remain Hollywood's worst unsolved murder mystery. -Tatum
Wes Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The day they cancelled Baywatch Nights. There were so many more mysteries to solve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
holyblakbelt Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Kirby Puckett. When I heard he had a stroke, I was like "hang in there" but it ultimately took his life. He had pure power but he never needed steroids. Arguably the greatest player of the late 80s-early 90s.
ebl Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The HOLLYWOOD sign on the hill. People keep vandalizing it. Eric
FitchCoaster Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I'd say 'Lil Wayne's "music" is a pretty big tragedy, haha. Seriously though, I think the Hollywood tragedy that hit me the hardest was Heath Ledger's death. As over-publicized as I think it was, he was such an amazing actor, and I'm not just saying this based on his performance in The Dark Knight. He got completely immersed in every one of his roles.
YFWE Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 "The Day the Music Died." I'd consider this to be a part of Hollywood and was certainly a tragedy.

Yes! and I'm not just saying this because he was really good looking or anything but, he did perform very well. We lost him too early.
the ghost Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Nicholas Cage, a man who annoys me so much it's not even funny. How many ghostriders need to suck? I mean, the coaster is rough as hell and still kicked the movies ass.
ChrisZer0 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Steve McQueen, the man was the epitomy of cool in the 60's and 70's(get Bullit on DVD BTW). I wonder if he would've lived, would he been at the level of a latter day eastwood(Writing, Directing Staring)
Swimace Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 1939- Amidst the glitz and the glitter of a bustling movie town at the height of its golden age The Hollywood Tower Hotel was a star in its own right, a beacon for the show-business elite. Now, something is about to happen that will change all that...
bigstevet07 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 In all seriousness I would have to say the Lee family. Bruce and Brandon killed in freak accidents.
Sir Clinksalot Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 John Lennon Heath Ledger Bruce/Brandon Lee Miley Cyrus Britney Spears
esvadj Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Arrested Development. 100% agreement. The best show you have never seen.
larrygator Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Marvin Acme I can't believe ToonTown was almost destroyed.
christianscoasters Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I'd say 'Lil Wayne's "music" is a pretty big tragedy, haha. I could not agree more. "She lick me like a lollipop." I don't wanna know that crap. Keep it to yourself, dammit.
terrancew_hod Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The Godzilla motion picture. It should had been titled "Product placements gone wild". That was the first time I screamed "Oh c'mon!" to the screen. Terry
davethefish Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The day movies went from using big, high detail sets and props, and instead, rely on crappy CGI! And wires in kung fu movies. The second you see someone using wires, the movie is RUINED!
Team Thriller Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The day Freddie Mercury died in 1991. That is in my opinion the worst. --James
