This year we've got five new categories for you to voice your opinions in! Voting runs from February 10 until February 28 with results being announced on March 2. BEST NEW RIDE: We saw countless new coasters open in 2008. Which one was the best? BEST EPIC FAIL: Recently, many coasters and parks have failed. Some new and some old, which one do you think deserves the ultimate failure award? (* Hard Rock Park still counts!) BEST SPIN: They're everywhere: spinning coasters. Which one do you think is the best? BEST NAME: Which coaster has the awesome-est (is that even a word?) name? BEST CLASS ACT: Which park really has their act together and makes your experience as a park guest truly enjoyable?

Scream162 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 BEST NEW RIDE: Ravine Flyer II. BEST EPIC FAIL: Wow, there were so many epic fails in theme parks last year. Its hard to choose only one! As mentioned above, Hard Rock Park and the Dark Knight were/are the most epic fails. I also think Fahrenheit is pretty bad. Another one would be Pony Express at Knotts. I'll say Pony Express. BEST SPIN: Sierra Sidewinder BEST NAME: I don't know. BEST CLASS ACT: Busch Gardens Europe!! A friend and I did an almost exact clone of the TPR East Coast Trip and we both liked BGE the most out of the 11 parks we visited.

HRP Best Spin: Tony Hawk at SFSTL Best Name: None really stick out, so I will Say The Voyage (best fit what I think of the ride) Best Class Act: Holiday World, Nice little park, best value, really great food.

Poorly Designed ride, hurts like hell. First I see "SFA and Flight Deck" and laugh, then I look up and see real choices for New ride, fail, and spin.

Universal was a close second though.

I love the sound of that coaster) Best Class Act: Idlewild. (I thought it was a really down to earth friendly mountain town hospitality. It was cute.)
