Loefet
So today is the official day for the first train to test the first part of the ride. I really hope that Lisa will be able to capture some photos for us!! EDIT: According to Lisa on the Blog, then the train have already left been pushed out of the station to the first launch, this was done on Saturday, so they are early in the test schedule which is a good thing. Apparently, then the train have passed the tests at launch 1, and have been launched and coasted to launch 2 for the next sets of tests in that area. Too bad that there are so many things in the way at the bottom of launch 2, so you can't see it on the web-cam. There is also a strict access forbidden zone around the ride in this stage of testing, which is something certain persons have to respect now.. EDIT 2: some more images of the landscaping progress around Helix, was posted on the blog a moment ago, it's going to look great once it's all green underneath. The Wheel cam is up again, and since last time then the roofs and area under the switch-track are beginning preparations to receive their "green" cover
Dar
It's back to the final brakes!!1! Looking forward to seeing all the greenery around the ride and on top of the station grow out. I can't wait for this ride, it's definitely my most anticipated of this season.

Loefet
It's back to the final brakes!!1! YES, hopefully they will move on to doing full circuits instead of this slow pace. And Lisa have promised that she will get a POV as soon as possible
TPRrickard
Wow, all the Wildfire hype is really cloaking the Helix testing! It's a shame. Helix deserves some recognition!

Nrthwnd
^^ Trust me, Helix will do just fine. And we get to ride it very soon. Wildfire still has to wait some 2 years to (officially) open.

There's a webcam picture of it on the brake run...man, the people in this thread get excited easily. Since that train were at the second launch earlier that day, then that image shows that it have completed it's first test run. Which means that they will soon start to cycle trains, which then implies that a POV will be posted soon

simon8899
Really some great years we have in northern Europe... 2013 - Smiler, Karacho 2014 - Flug der Dämonen, Helix 2015 - Hansa-Park Gerstlauer Mega-Coaster "Kärnan" 2016 - Wildfire And is it not time for Efteling to get a great new coaster...? ernierocker
I wouldn't be upset that another ride in Sweden is getting a ton of attention right now. Everyone knows and has praised how great Helix looks. This just means you will have two potential top 10 coasters in Sweden opening in a couple of years time. That can't be anything but good, right? Loefet
In all this Wildfire frenzy, here is a little sweet Helix test I just spotted. They are doing a light test, not just the exterior lights on the station, but some nice green glow on the trains as well
simon8899
Love how Liseberg is taking care of the light-package. Most parks only have very basic lights on their rides - but most do not open as long as Liseberg does...
