coasterdude5 Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 ^ I'm not sure the park would go with a Topple Tower when Dollywood's having so many problems with its own. Who knows, though.
coastakid Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 This is definitely not in Holiday World's game, but after reading something about the tallest of its kind, and swooping down to get a chicken wing, does anyone get the slight thought that the B&M dive track at the fabrication plant in Ohio is maybe for Holiday World...? Â Â I know it sounds like a crazy idea but, heh, you never know what amusement parks are going to throw at you these days. Â -Jon
haux Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 ^ No. Holiday World doesn't have $20 million to drop on a new coaster. Wasn't the budget for next season's improvement less than $10 million?
coastakid Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 ^Then I take my idea back ;p  I have no idea what this new attraction could be. I can't decide if I think it's going to be a coaster or not!
jamesdillaman Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Taco Bell. That's my educated guess. The tallest Taco Bell in the world, no less. Vertigo makes you sick... Taco Bell makes you sick... All I can say is FINALLY! Â -James Dillaman
Sticky Nicky Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 Paula Quotes: Â I was just talking to the Indy Star. I did reveal that one person on one of the coaster/park forums got it. Nailed it. Â Working on the second fact sheet. Had to click on "add to dictionary" for the name of the thing.
mudvayneimn Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 ^ Huss Topple Tower, I think only one person mentioned it.
coastermoosh Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 I can guarantee you that someone on every forum things it was someone on that forum who got it right! lol
amusing_parks Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Hey, guess what tomorrow is!! Its not just a Tuesday!! haha
BuddyChrist Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 If it's a coaster that has been around for a long time and it they are moving it from there to here, I have a feeling it could be Laser from Dorney. I think Holiday World would love to save this classic from the scrap heap.
amusing_parks Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 But Laser is supposed to be going to Germany, to what I like to call a circus cause its moves around! Other then that I went on Laser, yeah its not that great, its goes flying threw them loops, and my head didn't hurt it felt like my head was going back in slow mood then wipped, if you know what I mean.
haux Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Paula Quotes: Â I was just talking to the Indy Star. I did reveal that one person on one of the coaster/park forums got it. Nailed it. Here's hoping it's me! I agree. Drop tower. But what company? I'm going to say an A.R.M. tower. Those things are insane. Too bad I'm going to miss the announcement. I'll be away for a job interview.
spaceace12 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I am not going to guess anymore and just wait for my cell phone to get a text from twitter tomorrow while at work.
DBru Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 My final guess is the world's tallest Giant Flume ride with a vertical (elevator) lift, named Pilgrim's Plunge. All hints just lead towards it...
PKI Jizzman Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Is there anything up? I didn't see anything.. Â www.holidayworld.com
Sticky Nicky Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 Not until the 11 AM (CST) announcement.
PKI Jizzman Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Oh, sorry! Didn't see that. Well, one more hour! I'm hoping they might add a big steel coaster to their collection of massive wooden masterieces. Â -J "Still Hoping to get down to HW this year..." Z
okinawaboy11 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Oh, sorry! Didn't see that. Well, one more hour! I'm hoping they might add a big steel coaster to their collection of massive wooden masterieces. -J "Still Hoping to get down to HW this year..." Z  2 Hours  Both you and I were thinking the same thing then I realized. Indiana is on Central Time. So noon for us. Whatever it is, I hope its big
PKI Jizzman Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I'm glad you mentioned it! Haha, when I went down to Beech Bend, we arrived 2 hours early because we forgot about the time zone! I sure hope it's not a boomerang...they deserve the quality of ride that's wayyy better than that. I'm really hoping they would look at those Intamin Mini Megas...they are the perfect price range and size! They need to bring some of those over to the states! Â -JZ
coolhandluke Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 OMG it's 11.15 and they STILL haven't updated the homepage! This is like Kings Island all over again! Â I'm still at a loss for what it could be, though. I'm hoping a nice steelie, but whatever it is will help my case in front of my friends for going there over Cedar Point for our trip next year.
Vffreak07 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I'm gonna take a gander and guess that because they're on Central time they're gonna announce it at 11 for Central people.
