I figured that.. if you just look at the background of both videos you can plainly see that they are the same distances of track in opposite directions.

Excellent pictures! I happened to ride it later in the day towards dusk and ventured on a night ride.. twas quite epic as you can't see the pain before it hits you like the day. Happy to see it back tho.

If you are rolling in the front, the airtime is pretty weak in the final bit.. but I found it quite nice in the back.

Best: Boulder Dash, now that GCI blew a load on it, has turned into something just epic. Worst: Great Bear goes from best invert to mediocre. Sad.

I wish this park could have survived.. I could've ridden my bike there all the time. Hell, I'd still ride my bike there.. although I can drive.. lol Always nice to see pics of the park surface though.

I was at HW last week and she was running fine for the day I was there. Of course, she didn't open until 2pm.. and I got the 1st train of the day.. just to be sure..

Thanks for the tips Robb. I was hoping the Q-Bots would be open.. I saw that they were being built in your last photo update. When I went to SFGAdv, they saved me hours in wait times. And sucks that I can't meet up with ya. Maybe the next time you are on the East Coast?

Well Robb.. I've asked around to several sites but I never get any reliable advice. I'll be heading to SFMM on this upcoming Sunday and was just curious what you think in terms of: -What rides to do first. -Where to eat. -Where to park. -What time to get there. -What to buy. -Anything to avoid. Being that this is my first trip, I have no idea. Also.. this will probably be my last trip for probably 3-4 years.. so I want to optimize my time there. Thanks ahead of time Robb! -Snoo

Superman - Ride of Steel - 16 times in 2 hours with my best friend, a fellow enthusiast. We went to Great Escape earlier that day, a good 2 hour drive, and it was incredibly disappointing. Driving back, we hit solid rain for a good hour of it.. and I suggested we stop on by SFNE.. with the possibility that it could still be running rides. We get there.. the rain is slowing.. and people are leaving saying "where are YOU going? The park has been closed ALL day.. no rides at all!" We roll in.. not even there 5 minutes.. and S:RoS starts testing. Ahh.. the joy. Our longest wait was.. at max 5 minutes.. with re-rides thrown in at the end. The highlight of my trip this summer to be honest.

^Are we talking about HW or KI? In the case of HW, I agree.. they don't need a big steel. They are doing just fine. In the case of KI, I think it was desperately needed. Their selection, along with most Paramount parks, never really had a big signature attraction. For KI, this is it.
