Looks a lot like Prowler at Worlds of Fun. Since most people i know would rank that over Beast (and Golden Ticket Awards rates it over Diamondback), looks like a great fit and is a much better investment than a giga coaster in my opinion.

Also, I find it funny that Prowler is themed to a panther, and KI used a gif of a kitten for one of their teasers. Looks like Prowler is getting a sister coaster.

Looks like a terrain GCI to me (perhaps RMC, I suppose). Only shows some structural stuff near the top half, so perhaps the rest of the ride is low to the ground and stuff. Will be interesting!

GCI was my first thought as well, although we cannot tell for sure. Interesting layout though!

Edit: After looking at it again, it definitely looks a lot like Prowler. I was looking at it the other way around, with a possible Renegade-style first drop, but after a second look I think it's the first drop that is marked with Zone 1C.

I was thinking the same thing, but you're definitely right!

Ride Firehawk and Flight of Fear first, then maybe Backlot (all are next to each other) then do whatever you want and feel free to take your time. Lines will likely be manageable everywhere else. If you don't care about credits skip Invertigo and Vortex. They suck. Don't skip the Bat (it's easy to miss) or Adventure Express.

I disagree...Somewhat. Invertigo is a fun ride...If it's running. But everything else he said, go with.

Now that I think about it, I remember seeing a team of a few guys in Cedar Fair jackets riding Prowler in late May this year. I didn't think much of it when I saw it but now it's starting to add up.

Prowler better than the Beast? No. imo. And I'm definitely okay with a new wooden coaster at KI. But there is nothing wrong with a giga coaster. A B&M giga at any park would be king...Especially at KI.

Zone 1A is the station and Transfer. Looks like a straight lift hill into 1C which has a drop through 1B. Maybe I am wrong but it looks smaller than Prowler.

I'm inclined to skip Vortex because of its reputation but I also haven't been on any custom Arrows or Vekomas before. Is it any worse than Corkscrew at CP? I was thinking about skipping that one as well but I do want to get in at least one Arrow looper just to say I've done it.

Everyone I've talked to that's ridden both says Prowler is better. But let's not get stuck on this issue. Both rides are incredible and are for different people.

Personally, I'm excited that CF is still investing in wooden roller coasters while other chains start to remove/convert their current woodies.

Vortex is my most hated coaster I've ever rode. But if you want the credit...Enjoy the headache my friend.

If it's like prowler then I'm all for it. I've heard nothing but great things about Prowler but have never gotten the chance to ride it. Hopefully this is true because it would be awesome to have a GCI a little closer to home.

Here's the thing with Arrows. They're all different and everyone reacts differently to each one based on specific body dimensions. For example, I hate Vortex but a lot of people enjoy it. I experience no discomfort whatsoever on Anaconda and most people have complete disdain for that ride. I like most Arrows actually but I hate Vortex and Corkscrew.

So if you've never ridden one then ride Vortex, but if you hate it don't let it stop you from riding other Arrows. Even if you hate both Vortex and Corkscrew (like I do) you might like the other ones. They're not like B&M's where they all generally ride the same way. They're all very different.

Would everybody you've talked too also be a WOFanatic? And don't get me wrong, I agree with you that both rides are incredible. If KI is getting a Prowler sister, I'm definitely okay with that.

Perhaps. The great thing is that no matter which one you prefer, you will pretty much have both at KI next year.

I agree. They are most definitely different. Not a fan of most arrows, but I do like the two arrow loopers in VIrginia. And the one in Tennessee. But that's about it.
