boardwalkbullet91507
I think I'm sort of getting an idea of what the layout will be; the first half will be a modified version of the original El Loco's (same order or elements), and the second half will be custom. I'm really liking the way this is turning out. Forget the gambling part; Vegas is officially on my bucket list!
XYZ
It's looking better and better! This looks like an amazing coaster and I have a feeling this will easily get into my top 10 when I ride in a few months.
GrapesLie
Looks Awesome! Another reason to go to Vegas! . . . Not that I needs one!
hydra
That last roll over the brake run looks like it may become one of those crazy hangftime dive loops...like Mystery Mine. Just a guess. Excited to see the finale layout!

More track has been installed for El Loco and they added a new Batman overlay on the park's laser maze. JeromyL
^^^^___your teasing the crap out if me here. And THANK YOU for that. Really appreciate the effort to keep updating us. Can't wait. At least I live here in Vegas. And will not have to travel far!!!
GayCoasterGuy
It looks like they took the standard El Loco layout, knocked it on it's side and kicked it around a bit, then stood it back up. Basically, crazy. Crazy good though And think, all that being thrown around with just a lap bar. Coaster nerd heaven.
Joe Schwartz
Looks great, thanks for the photos! Do they have any estimate on an opening date?
BotanicalStig
^I think they're leaving that open to "December". Thanks for keeping us up to date. Planning a trip to Vegas the week before christmas... Fingers crossed it's opened by then. I've been dying to get on an El Loco.
singemfrc
Looks great, thanks for the photos! Do they have any estimate on an opening date? They've targeted December, but it's too soon to set an exact date. I'm tentatively planning to go down there in January, so barring a big set back it should be open and hopefully I'll finally get my Canyon Blaster credit too. coastered
I'm sure this will be the best coaster in Vegas, especially with no future for Speed.
singemfrc
I'm sure this will be the best coaster in Vegas, especially with no future for Speed. Not much competition with the only others being a Togo and a short Arrow Looper. I personally like Manhattan Express, I don't find it to be as rough as most people, but clearly El Loco is going to be in another league.
simon8899
^I would also prefer Manhattan Express right now if only for the location. I am still sad I missed Speed by a month...
Mr Stratosphere
Hi everyone! Update from the Adventuredome today! Lots of progress on El Loco the past week. The lift appears to be half way completed with only the bottom of the first drop, bottom of the twist and dive and the transfer track left to be installed until the main "arena" of track installation is complete. The lift appears to be about the same height if not shorter than Canyon Blaster's lift but remember El Loco will indeed have a larger drop. Enjoy the photos! Oh and thanks to the Minions for helping to build an awesome coaster for us all! Thank you Minion for helping build an awesome coaster! KBrylczyk
...especially with no future for Speed. Has it been confirmed forever dead? I drive by it all the time. It is sitting in pieces across the street from Mandalay, right next to the forgotten remains of the SkyVue ferris wheel. I don't understand why a property doesn't grab it. There's no manufacturing costs. Just buy the metal and hire some dudes to slap it together! That thing could be up and running in a few short months!
