SteveC
Hanno - I confess that your pics of Mammut makes me think about it again. The one thing that threw me completely was how everybody came back into the station in total silence before I rode and I was very perturbed (give me something people Good? BAD? - but don't give me SILENCE). Anyway having taken on board Normans comments I think he should be pretty pleased with your photo results. For sure it will not light my fire but I guess it highlights his point. This was a great day anyway and I can't be more happy than with that
terrancew_hod
I forgot what was said after that jolt on the lift, but it sure got the best of me! Terry EDIT: I remember. We thought we broke the coaster on the first ride of the day!
Hhappy
Day 9.. Part 2 Holiday Park I checked out the place at the end of april of this year (on the same day as Tripsdrill) and i was very worried after riding EGF that day.. Rain was coming (but not yet there) while i was on the ride that day.. and the ride itself.. well.. it did not come near how it was this day (and it did feel worse to me then the year before..).... But that's my personal opinion... Today it was running amazing and i guess i experienced it the way it was meant to be running.. What a ride... here are some pictures.. I only see happy people.. Thanks for the awesome time Next train... ehm.. Lou.. Ladies... happy ladies... Airtime.. helmet person is holding on to his helmet.. must be major airtime i guess... owh my... here we go... He looks very happy doesn't he... "extreme" zoom.. hi terry and other happy tpr riders.. you should enjoy the ride instead of holding on to a piece of paper Happy riders.. just starting to move.. The other train on standby... ERT time.. Right next to this "beauty"... Everybody is chilling... Just in case... Many familiar faces... can you see the (ejector) airtime?? Looks nice... more hairtime... owh.. more tpr members... Hi hanno.. i'm here... Already had the credit.. so skipped it.. Just chilling while going up on the drop tower... it was a shame that the sun blocked me from getting decent pics from the drop... scream.. that's more like it (hairtime) Hairtime?? Plenty of open mouths all around... more tpr members... hmm, this looks nice... Spot the tpr members... Ok ok.. i guess it's time to go... But no worries.. we gotta keep Robb happy.. hmm, i guess i have to go back and get a better picture of this one.. without using the flash of my camera.. Testdriving the camera on the darkride... I see something in the distance... Chris is having fun... a few minutes later the discovered something was missing... Time to cool of a little... More happy faces... Happy riders... This does not look bad at all... i see something... ok... welcome to europe.. How are you doing sir?? Bik Mike is chilling.. but what's that?? Random stuff to be seen on this boatride... What's going on there?? welcome to Holiday Park What's that in the distance??

Nrthwnd
I would have liked one more hour in the park. For the flume ride. For a few of the other flats. For more ERT on GeForce, lol. Great time at Holiday Park. Thanks for helping me see what I missed and need to go on when I get there again, Hanno. Barrel Ride!
Hhappy
Next Park on the trip was Europa Park where we spent time during day 10 and the morning of day 11... So the following update will be done in 2 parts.. Part 1: Day 10 Europa Park Planty of pictures taken.. although i forgot to take pictures of some of the rides.. but hey.. it's sometimes very good to just chill/relax and have a lot of fun. Thanks for another great day on this trip... Final selected picture of this day.. people swimming.... come on rain.. come closer.. and cool us down a little.. please... front row... more reactions of random people.. there is some kind of reason that i selected this picture... Silver star first drop fun.. I'll be back... If you feel hot.. just go for the fountains... Robb's "new" favorite food place.. This area really reminded me of a holiday once in Switzerland.. in the Wallis area... not bad.. not bad at all.. Did somebody loose a hat??? Ok.. let's check out the white stuf.. That looks familiar... display.. Chris?? what are we doing here??? now what is this?? that looks familiar... scary?? Aangezien het nog steeds erg warm was... volgende darkride... This place is just beautifull.. i really have to go back here someday.. well.. i did score 100 points so... It's a shooter More darkride fun.. but this time with a twist... Now what is this?? Next darkride.. next place too cool down a little.. especially with all the ice and snow around.. there will be plenty more pictures of this ride in the next update random people trying to cool down a little... They even have a food place next to the ride... and yes.. it was excellent wait a second... this is in the dutch area of the park.. This one came out nice.. hmm, i need to think about buying some other lenses for this camera for darkrides... ok.. next darkride.. pirate themed?? It looks so pretty... Time for a walkthrough to cool of a little.. it was nice and relaxing.. although the lady with the water thing spraying during the ride was a bit annoying... after some waterrides.. it was time to check the powered coaster.. Time to check out the rest of the park... robb is being robb and trying to eat the car?? or dreaming about driving in one of these or?? there's soo much that can be said about this picture... Next stop was Silverstar.. Thumbs up for this one This ride was a lot of fun (especially during ert ) First stop of the day.. larrygator
Europa is a wonderful and clean park. I have no idea how they keep it so clean, I do not recall seeing a single person picking up trash all day yet the place was immaculate. I was surprised that so many people would just hang out in the fountains fully clothed and that the park would allow it.
Hhappy
It's time for Day 11 of this trip. We had some more hours to spent at Europa Park and the we would drive in the direction of Paris with a stop at Walygator Parc. More on walygator later on (next update) but first some more stuff from Europa Park. This place was just amazing and i really enjoyed my stay there. Later on i discovered that i did not get pictures of all the rides there.. so i guess that shows how much fun i had.. anyway.. time for some more pictures.. most of them are from the Euro-Mir.. last one of this morning.. time to go.. i'm not sure what i tried to do here... indeed.. thumbs up for the park and this fun ride more tpr members.. happy riders.. thanks guys.. more happy faces.. trying to capture... Hands up.. baby hands up.. still partying.. you do look much better divv and yes.. we are still on the Euro-mir.. more members of the party train.. It's the party train More TPR members.. Happy TPR people is always a good sign finally.. there they are.. I can see our hotel More clouds in the distance.. well it was raining by that time.. and if you look close.. you can see the spray coming of the weels and track.. "blurry" more train on track... did not come out the way i had in mind.. but still good enough.. are those roadworks in the background?? Plenty of wheels.. Looking down.. ok guys.. we are up here.. time for you to join the line.. see you in a bit Random happy riders Poseidon with clouds in the background... the day before was bright and sunny.. and i forgot to take pictures of this ride.. ehmm.. he looks kinda creapy... are you ready to "run" ?? i love the text on this shirt.... thrillerman1
Woo glad we could just barely fit into the last pic of this TR. I think we just barely missed the TPR Euro Mir takeover by a minute or two arriving after everyone had already gone inside. Thanks Hanno!
Nrthwnd
It was so cool when our trainload started clapping along with the soundtrack as we went up, up, up the lifthill of Euro Mir. And then we continued clapping and singing "the Euro Mir song" as we rode on by you, and the others, Hanno. A great memory of the park. Thankyou for catching The Party Train! Noxegon
Can I assume from the commentary that Anaconda at Walygator Parc is still, er, a useful addition?
SteveC
^ er..not so much although IMO considerably more useful than Bandit
OldJJman
^^ My opinion is a bit different than Steve's. During my ride on Anaconda, I felt like I needed a bra, because my body was being jarred that much! I will NO DOUBT put Anaconda at the BOTTOM of Mitch's poll this year. Below Bandit, and Grizzly. cfc
^I'm with Jeff--Anaconda was easily the worst ride of the whole trip.
Hhappy
Day 12 Disney time... It had been 9 years since my last visit (so that before the studio opened) and i really wanted to visit the park again.. Looking back now.. i'm glad i took a bunch of pictures (of which plenty failed) cause i can hardly remember things from this visit.. I guess i was way too tired by now... anyway.. here's a selection of some of my pictures of the first day at the park.. Hope you like them.. Just one more update after this... I'll finish this update with this picture.. more to come tomorrow... More fire.. Studio tour.. Inside Crush.. These looked like a lot of fun crush.. waiting to get on the tower... Almost captured the grand finale.. i'm on fire... My next stop was the stunt show spectacle... Back in the park.. another angle of the Manor.. let's eat something smooth ride, with some nice music (loved the volume..) My first tower.. and yes.. i liked it.. Still wondering what this would look like once it was dark... Time for something new for me.. studio.. These folks look familiar... More darkride please... random thing inside.. Pirates.. i still really like this ride.. especially the "tune".. I don't feel like Mission 2 was an upgrade.. especially since it's way rougher.. or maybe it's because i've been on more coasters at this point.. Early morning.. it's always good to wake up to...
