Josh Davidson
Well -- for my first time in over ten years I suppose I visited Clementon Park. It was for these Girl Scout event and my sister is in it so I got in for free with it. Lets just say this about the park, you can basically fit the park in Great Adventure's Parking Lot, and still have room to park. Out of all the rides, at least eight of them where closed. The park is over crowded and looked more like a Carnival then a amusement park. Hell Cat, or whatever it was called was the only ride I rode for the entire day there. I rode it nine times, but it was indeed one of the most PAINFUL roller coasters I've ever rode. I can't imagine what it would be like without the trimming, but it was up there with some of the worst rides in history. I also grew annoyed at them saying it was Steepest Drop on a Woodie in America.. Now to pictures. Greeted with some rides in the parking lot.... coming soon? Looks like fun but.. I'll soon learn my lesson.. The station is WAYYYYYYY up there, and a pain in the butt to climb up all those stairs. Grrrrrrr, I'm the Clemodog, get away from my coaster or I will bite you with my fiberglass! Closed #1 No lines... or wait the park hasn't opened yet! This is the only true nice area in the park. Just in case you forgot where we are. Closed #2 This park is CHEAP! Literally, like almost Knoebels cheap. Except for the fact that Knoebels is a amazing park. HEY SIX FLAGS! Dear god, time to ride Identity Crisis: The Ride The queue begins in a small tunnelish fenced in area. Red train would receive no love today First riders today, unfortunate for them Woo, 6 Flags! More flags, more fun. The only plus of this ride is I can say I've ridden a S&S Woodie.. A FLAT, open?! This area was nice. The new play area for Splash Water sticks out and unlike the rest of the park is clean and nice! TIME TO RIDE THE FERRY! WOOO. Nevermind, Closed #3 I hope the new management of the park makes the rest like this. Lazy River = closed #4. Arg, I'm the Koolaid Pirate. Give me yo' fried chicken. Where oh where is the Jackrabbit? No tube-lovin' today. NOTED! This one actually goes backwards.. Hey Roller Coaster Tycoon! This part of the park is little nice, but still dirty. This goes out to Tsunami.. J2... Puma.. Hell Cat.... Iron Cat the Ride! This picture looks like it could pull off a cheap imitation of Voyage... but it doesn't deliver at all. The most painful air time.. EVER! Swings were open. I could make this in RCT3! This place was CROWDED!! Closed #5 WTH is this, a fair? Log Flume was closed, pshhhhhhhh! Gabe is crying over the pain Noooo mommy, I don't want to ride the mean cat! He's single ladies, make sure to PM him about how much you want to ride HIS coaster! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Getting close to the thing. That doesn't seem safe. Ewewewew, get the windex out! At least the logo is nice. POV of if I was on the train! YAY, free soda. Maybe this day is getting better.. Josh texting his friends about why to drive away from this place. HAY DER RYDARS! "Ugh -- my head feels as if I was hit by a thousand of pointy bricks" Yo-yo-yo, this is the ride op rap. Even the life can be painful! 0 FLAGS! 6 FLAGS! More Flags, More fun! OWWWWWW, it broke'd muh nose! Super Josh commands you to back away! Well making a BBQ next to a wooden roller coaster, this will be safe! ACERS BACK OFF, it's mine. B) NASTYNASTYNASTY What you mean I will be pregnant at the end of the ride? NERD ALERTTTTTTTTTTT! The best part of the ride; the brakes. Our BBQ cook! She likes hot dogs. OUCHHHHHH! Brownies! The coaster looks so bad! And it hurts worst. Hi, I am a random elephant. Take me home and take care of me! PLEASE! Picnic Table partay! 90 degrees! There faces say it all. OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW. Woot random exhibits with nothing in them Yay for stripper Pizza! Yay for a good part of the park! The lake. Thats not all they have to apologize for. Lets line up for the Pizza that really delivers! Ouchhh. Tel me; how is this fun? Just spend a few bucks more of gas and go to Six Flags! Josh is skinnay! DRINKK MEHH! Closed #6 RIP JACKRABBIT Stray Cattle goes moo. That looks painful. Hangtime.. a little to much. This picture sums up my day. Oh, and a themed McDonalds to end the day? I'm American, so I am fat! End this day with a sundae on Sunday! Hercules
You consider $33 for this place cheap? And I believe that first pic is of the Chaos that they had the accident with a few years ago.
Immelman
^ Agreed, 33 bucks is a pretty bad rip off considering the quality and the fact that Kennywood is only 2 dollars more. Nice trip report though... I especially like the picture where it looks like you're going to eat the roller coaster train.
Mechanic
I rode it nine times, but it was indeed one of the most PAINFUL roller coasters I've ever rode. it was up there with some of the worst rides in history. I guess the only part I'm having trouble understanding is why you would ride it nine times if it sucks so much.
Josh Davidson
^When you are there for over ten hours, and it is the only ride you are going to go on, you are.

Now, granted, it does seem like there wasn't a whole lot to do but if the ride was that bad it doesn't seem like it should take 8 more turns to figure that out. TheBannedKid
My finger hurts after scrolling through your pictures as I got bored with them. I've never heard of the park, or an S&S woodie.

I thought I covered this, I was with a group with at least ten people (basically a lot of my sister's little troop thing cause it was Girl Scouts Day) and basically everytime they wanted to ride I went with them, as well as the fact I was at the park from 11am-7pm, and the park has only one coaster. or an S&S woodie. http://rcdb.com/ir.htm?model=
dr.gumbo
It was hilarious how much you ranted on about HellCat. I think you came up with about twenty insultments there. I seriously suggest you do a little re-cut here and there because it be honest, it was getting boring. Other than that, I loved it.
Josh Davidson
^Yeah this should had been one of my smaller trip reports cause of the size of the park. I got a little carried away with Photobucket.
Jayjay719
Thanks for the heads up Josh. I wanted to make a trip to Clementon Park this year but I'm not sure it's worth making the trip. 8 closed rides? Did they ever open during your time at the Park? Sounds like the old Six Flags management.
RCoasterny
Wow.. I could say that this PTR actually made the Ultimate more exciting!
ElToroGirl84
Yeah clementon was always rather a dump really. I use to go there with my grade school every spring but I never really liked it much, it was fun and we were able to barbecue. Never really liked barbecuing there though because I remember the bees and flies were always bad. I remember they never had a coaster till some of the later trips I think and it was noisy as anything. I was never into coasters then so I never rode the thing, but I never heard anyone say it was good so I doubt I'm missing much.
CP_RULES
You think this park is cheap? The price of their season pass is about $5 more than I paid for my Six Flags season pass which gets me into ALL of the Six Flags parks... -Justin "I wouldn't pay that much to get into a park with one coaster" Seabaugh
Josh Davidson
I'm just WAY to use to Moreys and Six Flags prices.
307
Even the life can be painful! Ah yes, a valuable lesson for us all. Thanks for the words of wisdom. And if you want painful crappy woodies, come ride Wild Beast or Predator
Medusa1861
So you HAVEN"T been on it before the trims? Because i rode it last year and LOVED J2. Did you go with anyone who's been on it before if it makes it that much worse? It was rough last year, But like... fun rough not painful and just very "out of control" type of ride. 33 is a bit much for the park, I think I paid less than 20 last year, probably because I had coupons. downunder
Nice TR, I really like your photos. I'll be hitting Clementon with the TPR East Coast tour so this was a great heads up. Maybe we'll get lucky and get the trims off for our ERT on Hellcat but I doubt it.
Josh Davidson
Dear god; hope the Trims are on.. Actually I really did not notice or see any trims during my entire day there. I don't know if it is just cause this was my ride on it on this year, or cause they were off?
Jew
You counted the train twice as a closed ride? Or do they have more than one?
Carnage
You consider $33 for this place cheap? But it's only what $25 for the physically challenged admission???
downunder
^Maybe they give you the physically challenged discount in advance of becoming disabled as a result of riding Hellcat.
