Nrthwnd Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 I couldn't resist it, but that aerial shot of Piraten, made me WANT IT as my current screen saver. It takes the place of "Piraten With Snow", that I had up for the winter. Love this shot! And... My Very First Mega Lite, too. (in a 2009 trip there)
_koppen Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Done! Now they have a whole lot of time for some great theming. Source
viking86 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 A couple of new pictures from Djurs' facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/djurssommerland/?fref=ts). I'm loving the banking in the helix!! Here's also a picture from a few weeks back taken during the pull-through test.
LeoBruz199 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Behold, everyone, the first invert with airtime!
PVA62 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Wow, this looks like a lot of fun! Can Kentucky Kingdom get one? It really looks good!
Rill'o'beily Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Am I wrong or is this technically intamins third full circuit inverted coaster?
TheoB Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Am I wrong or is this technically intamins third full circuit inverted coaster? Nope, but it is the first for a very long time they have Volcano, Sarakennis plus Tornado in Madrid. Feel like I've forgotten another one though.
boldikus Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Not counting the impulses this is the fourth. Fifth if you include EuroStar. https://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&de=5&co=6837&page=1&order=-8
XII Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 This looks awesome. I really enjoyed the family invert at Farup Sommerland and this looks like its going to be even better than that. Good job Djurs Sommerland. Really looking forward to riding this when I go back.
_koppen Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 These train sure look minimalistic! Since it's Djurs we know theming will be fabulous! <3 Source
Nrthwnd Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 ^ I agree! I immediately thought there could be some of kind of bin in between the seats, to put all the personal stuff, etc. And easy to open and shut, and STAY SHUT, too. (Maybe an "auto lock" with the bins.) Just a suggestion.
Alex1337 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Actually HUSS made that kinda bin for your stuff on-ride in the new Condor 2.0. I could totally see a bin like those between the seats! Fatamorgana in Tivoli Gardens - the new Condor ride
_koppen Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew] All the years I've been waiting for another Intamin invert is finally nearing the end POV should probably be available soon.
JordyC Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 That looks awesome!! I really have to try to get there this year!
Henry M Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Is that a launch out of the station? That is really cool if it is.
RCT3Bross Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 ^ Must be. Realy like what this became I think a visit to Denmark isn't far off anymore.
Rill'o'beily Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Considering the seats are held by only a single pole, I really hope that in a few years this wont get that shaky because Intamin is not exactly known for their chassis rigidity. On another note though, this looks to be a really, really fun coaster
theredskull84 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 This thing just looks incredible. I'd love to see more "family" coasters like this lol
Nrthwnd Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Awesome video and coaster! And...I want a green Djurs t-shirt! (I wear a LARGE, thankyou!)

Nrthwnd Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 (edited) ^ Right at the beginning, I love the indoor section before the lift. That's great!!! EDIT: The whole ride looks awesome as well. Edited March 25, 2017 by Nrthwnd
