mcjaco
Also, It's good to see the Jets finally come back to Earth. 3 straight losses and they are 3-3. They have looked progressively worse since their "Superbowl" in week 2, especially their "HOF" QB. Sanchez has now thrown twice as many picks as TDs and his passer rating is atrocious. Looks like the Pats may run away with the division. Who ever said Sanchez was a HOF QB? And it's Favre. Not Farve.
ParkTrips
All I can say is, the rest of the NFL is in trouble. The Saints will not lose a game in the superdome this season. The "vaunted #1 Giants Defense" came in and got trounced. I have to agree, that team is rockin' right now. They could run the table, who knows? The lone real challenge on their schedule is a road trip to Atlanta; other than that, and visits from overrated Dallas and New England, its a bunch of sub-.500 teams. Could be a good year down in nawlins
BeemerBoy
^ Very true. Although, all it takes is one key injury...... Even as good as the Saints look, or any team for that matter, I never feel comfortable until the playoffs. One thing's for certain though, any offensive lineman for New Orleans who allows Drew Brees to be touched should be fined by the team.
Hercules
Forget Drew Brees. How about Darren Sharper?

Lots of fans and even some analysts were singing huge praises for Sanchez and thought the Jets were the best team in FB, thus Pats fans started joking around calling him a "HOF" QB. Oh, and I have a bad habit of sometimes spelling Favre wrong, just can't get the sound outta my head.
spaceace12
Looking ahead at the Colts schedule...I think heading into the Colts/Pats game, Colts have a strong possiblity of being undefeated going into it. After all, they play the Rams next and then the 49'ers. Rams should be a given adn the 49'ers should also be a win. But that being said, stranger things have happened. I was over on the Pats board and they were talking about the Colts only being able to put up 31 points on the thumbtacks while the Pats did 59. I don't think this will matter when it comes to the Colts/Pats game because that game is always a even battle goign in. Both qb's are as good as each other. I think where the Colts could possibly have the advantage is the recievers. Colts have possibly the weapons needed here to beat the Pats, we have plenty of players who can catch. I am not sure about the Pats (haven't watched any of their games), but going by previous games of theirs. I know anytime the Colts/Pats meet up, it is always a good game. spaceace12
A lot of sad Favre fans.......As for the Colts game, Sanders was not that effective. But in the end, it didn't matter. Heck even Sorgi got a TD play called. Defense got a TD. Next week might be a challenge with the 49'ers. Not as much as the Patriots will be. Hopefully the injured that stayed out of today's game was just a precaution. Especially Donald Brown. Addai is good, but Brown is a beast. Instead of trying go to the outside like Addai does, Brown heads right up the gut.

ntweisen
Wow the Browns are bad. Good thing I haven't wasted any time watching them suck this year. I've officially taken the year off as a Browns fans. I guess I'll switch to the Bengals.

Besides, going to religious points, anyone who truely means to repent, can be saved(but that isn't NFL related). You don't save yourself by "repenting", you "save" yourself by not doing stupid, ignorant, and hateful crap. What I find amazing about the type of people who write those articles is that they themselves are WORSE than those they condemn. I think my favorite part of that link was one of the responses to the article. The article condemned a NFL player to hell for having long hair and someone replied "Then what does that mean to Jesus, is he rotting in Hell for not shaving?" stingrock23
that Dolphins game was so awesome. It's amazing how quickly that crowd turned. It was a true invasion of the who dat nation. I did like the pre-game atmosphere around the stadium, and the saints came away with win, and that's all that matters

KPfreak519
I am going to the Colts/niner's game tomorrow. Friend offered free tickets, can't pass that up. Last week, I learned to believe in Karma. This lady called me and asked me to work at my Church's breakfast because somebody was sick; when I was there I carried an old man's tray to his table for him and he tipped me with two tickets to the Steelers-Vikings game that he couldn't use On another note, apparently Lendale White sent a Terrible Towel up to a school in Pittsburgh with a note saying something along the lines of "The Titans wish the Steelers the best of luck, and PLEASE release the curse!" stingrock23
8-0, half way there. The magical season just keep getting better. The Saints will not lose in that dome this year. 2 more wins sets up a huge showdown against the Pats on Monday night.

bigstevet07
Best stat of the season. Jay Cutler leads the NFL with 17 INT's, team is 4-5. Kyle Orton 26th in INT's with 4, team is 6-2. Welcome to the Jay Cutler era Bears fans. He could be a great QB, but his stubborness in relying on his arm strength on impossible throws will forever plague him. spaceace12
On a message board, this was posted. who would ever have thought that jay cutler would make rex grossman look good? I am glad the Bears lost for the one super fan I work with. He said they were going to win out and make the playoffs. I had to laugh at that. He was serious. Sucks for the other Bears fans though. Jay has no offensive line, or receivers. It's not all on him. But it's been really ugly. When Rex and Orton were here, they at least had a line in front of him.
