GeorgiaDawg278
This is a much improved Colt Defense. For one, the final was 41-10 and 7 of New Orleans' 10 came on defense. The Colts from midway through last year would have given up a million rushing yards and bare minimum 20 points.
piggy4891
Yes Colts. Are we looking at a repeat??? Final Score 41-10. I hope this is a trend for the rest of the season.
spaceace12
One player made the difference. The Eraser, Bob Sanders. When I went to go get a jersey at the playoffs, I didn't go for Manning, Harrison, or any other star on offense. I got Sanders. Sadly, I forgot to wear it yesterday at work. Â I found me a new avatar. I think I was at the game this pic was taken.
BelizeIt
The Colts may have won this game, but they won't take the division. Â Jacksonville is going to have a great season, and I hope they will give the Colts a run for the division title. (They have in the past) Â I like the Niners and the Pats, so the Colts don't really effect the divisions I'm interested in. Â Payton is amazing, but I hope that Jacksonville will give them some trouble. Â The NFL Season has arrived!!! I'm looking forward to the upcoming season!!! spaceace12
Well, Sunday is set up for the Superbowl of the Regular season. My station is already running a commercial that says "go colts" for Sunday. I am working this weekend for CBS on Saturday and Sunday. I can't wait. spaceace12
Teams that destined to make the playoffs:  Cowboys Packers Patriots (they suck)  Teams that should make the playoffs:  Colts  Teams that won't make the playoffs:  Bears  Just what I see right now. coastercrazed49
Patriots (they suck) Â Â Then how come there 10-0 hmmmm.
spaceace12
They are 10-0 because all the teams they played, except the colts, were bad. They barely beat us, Manning gave up at the end (the score was 24-20, PAts, not 56-10 pats, we gave them a run for the money and well, in the end, they just didn't finish). Plus Colts were missing a ton of players, as they were in the San Diego game. Just wait till Marvin and all the injured that can come back, do. Remember the regular season last year the Colts had, they were terrible, I had my doubts on playoffs. Then all the injured weren't on the sidelines and what a difference that makes. 45 minutes till they play the Falcons. Â Too bad I can't watch it since it is on NFL Network. spaceace12
23-0 less than a minute in the first half Colts. Blocked punt resulting in a safety and 3 touchdowns. YEah.
spaceace12
Colts clinch second seed in the AFC, a first round playoff bye, 5th year in a row with 12 plus wins (only team in the NFL to ever do this), and AFC South Champs. Time to start resting starters starting next week.
BelizeIt
^The key term is "Second" seed. What do they say about "Second" place..... they are the 1st LOSER! Â The New England Patriots are without doubt the best team in the NFL, and possibly the Greatest Team of all-time! (Oh "spy-gate" etc... whatever...teams have been doing that forever, besides you can only use that "Excuse" for the opening game of the season, the Pats have managed to win Every game since then) Â Bring on the AFC Championship Game! Lets see how the "Dome" happy Colts handle a bit of inclement New England weather. Â The Patriots have a date with Destiny!!! Adios Miami! The New Champs of the AFC will be toasting the Champagne for years to come! Â Moss and Brady have a date with History! Â I have to say that both the Patriots and Colts are exceptionally well run organizations. Because of this, both teams manage to produce contenders every year.........This is why the AFC Championship game is like a Superbowl itself! Go AFC!!! spaceace12
All I will say is that I have seen Patriots fans ready to put thier team into the Superbowl, they got two meaningless games remaining (as do the colts). They also have to play someone in the second round of playoffs, and if the Ravens, Eagles, Colts, and any other close Patriots games show, Patriots can lose at the first game they play in the playoffs. Playoffs do amazing things to teams that seemed to play craptacular in the regular season, all of a sudden they can play really well. As for the Colts being dome happy, last years superbowl was played outside in the rain.
coastercrazed49
^Patriots thrive in the snow and cold weather. Thats the only problem with domes is they don't teach players to play in bad conditions until they are faced to play in them in sometimes important games. spaceace12
Manning practices with balls dunked in water, in fact, the only two games in recent history where it rained when the Colts where playing they won, the Superbowl and the Raven's game [Colts Destroyed the Ravens]. Â But any given Sunday, one team can look like crap and the most craptacular team can look like the best team in the NFL. And at this point it really doesn't matter, but come Jan. when one and done football begins, that is important. Funny thing about one and done football, teams will all of a sudden play the best they ever have, even in any weather conditions(only one I can think of recently is Grossman's Superbowl Meltdown, that doesnt' meet this qualification). Â Well, I been following football for 10 years and seen the Colts hit the low end and the middle, and now the high end.
mcjaco
^ Grossman's Superbowl meltdown????? Â Grossman sucks in all of his games. Not just that one.
spaceace12
Well, up to that point he was okay. Â This season, well, when the 2nd string went in, I wasn't surprised, then this last weekend when the third string went in. In 2 weeks Bears fans pains can end for the season. Scaparri
^ Grossman's Superbowl meltdown????? Grossman sucks in all of his games. Not just that one.  How does Grossman suck so bad? Sorry Matt, but this Chicago hatred of Rex just drives me nuts.  Yeah, he bombed this season until he got benched, but he did pretty darn well after he got his starting job back. Plus, I can't tell you how many of his perfectly good passes were been dropped. How many times have you seen a perfect pass to a receiver, who gets his hands on the ball, but drops it? I know I saw a ton. Heck, before he sprained his knee ligament, even the commentators were talking about how some of his dropped passes can't be thrown any better. It's just as much the receivers' faults, if not more, as it is his. Lastly, he still lead our team to the Superbowl, which takes a significant amount of skill. I'm sorry, but even if he had been playing his best, they still would have been darn lucky to win that game. Indianapolis was just too good.  Again, sorry to be taking this out on you, Matt. It's more of a rant against fellow Chicago fans in general. Not everybody can have a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, and I don't understand the logic of fans constantly booing their own player. That's not going to make him turn into an MVP.
mcjaco
^ I wasn't placing total blame on Rex, Scott. His receiver corp sucks almost as much. However, Rex still overthrows guys more often than not, and makes bad decisions. He was better this year than last, but when Superbowl dreams are on everyone's mind, you expected him to step up. Â My big issue with Rex is that he never shows any emotion when he screws up. It's like it doesn't matter. Not that he should be jumping around, but good god dude, show some heart. Â And don't knock Chicago fans, there's Indy fans in here that's giving you guys bad names too. We maybe short fused, but at least we know what we're talking about. BeemerBoy
Rex - Gator Hester - 'Cane   See guys, it's actually pretty simple when you break it down to simplest terms.
spaceace12
Rex had good games and he had bad games. One game he could look the best QB in the NFL and the next week he could look like a rookie playing his first game. It is hard to find QB's like Manning and Brady for every team. Â Now I wonder if Grossman's days as a Bear is numbered with his injuries he has had.
spaceace12
Guess what time it it, no not peanut butter jelly time, it is playoff time. On the AFC side, the Wildcard games are set. Titans will play Chargers and Jag's will play Steelers. Out of those, here is what I see happening. Titans will be on the road in San Diego and since the Titans barely beat the Colts 2nd and 3rd strings, I see them losing if Rivers shows up. The other game, Jag's are hot as of late, Steeler's, not so much. I think Chargers and Jag's will win. That would set up the Divisional Round. Charger's would come to the RCA dome to meet the Colts, and of course my prediction on that game would be a Colts victory. Jag's would go to Foxboro to meet the Patriots, this is where it get's interesting, Jag's have a legit shot at beating the Patriots. If the Jag's win and so do the Colts, the AFC Championship would be Jag's at Colts, but if the Pat's win, it would be Colts at Pats. either way, I would be happy and be super happy to see the Colts end the Pats winning streak at Foxboro. Â On the NFC side. You got Eli and the Giants against Tampa Bay and Washington at Seattle. I have watched very little of the NFC so I am not picking on these. Then the team ranked the highest will play Green Bay and the other team will play Dallas with the Winners to meet in the NFC Championship. Â Of course then you have the Superbowl. Good luck to all the teams.
