^ Imagine Nitro or Goliath, but on a smaller scale and a more compact layout. Still tall, just doesn't cover as much distance. Hard Rock Park's Led Zep the ride comes pretty close.

http://www.rcdb.com/ig3621.htm Hollywood Pics on RCDB dot com. Note the overall size and scale. Hope that helps.

EDIT: In re-reading the article, Morer Sohne was signed on for the ride. Since USJ's Hollywood Dream is made by B&M, this is a different coaster type with possibly the same name. Maybe a skyloop or Abismo sort of thing, as both are compact and might fit into that space mentioned by UniversalGSHo. As Arty Johnson would say while peeking out from behind a planter on Laugh-In, "Veeeeeeelllllly intelesting..."

UniversalGSHo22, I was wondering, what type of things are in the bone yard? If can even say whats in it. quote]

The Bone Yard is between Jimmy Neutron and Twister. It is where the main stage is errected ( he he ) for the Rock the Universe and Mardi Grais concerts. It is also where they hold the annual passholders for any special events they throw for them usually. Like if it is a Halloween Horror Nights day and they have tickets for the night time and they dont want to leave the park and deal with all the security crap they are staged there untill the park is open. It is also used during the Macy's Parade to house the balloons that they dont use in the parade but keep inflated so guests can do pictures and such. They had a walk through last year about Macy's History that was pretty cool. Ummmmmmm They use it as a Mid-Way for Halloween Horror Nights with Games and food and Booze. It is right infront of the Sound Stages where they tape TNA Wresteling and where they hold the floats for Mardi Gras and the Balloons during Macy's Parade Season. I am trying to find a good picture to post to give you a better idea! I hope this helped!!!

^ Dear Diary,

This has been a most unusual and scarring day. Not only did I find out an international celebrity has had a questionable private life while living in the susnshine state, but that the city of tomorrow, had a hidden sexual agenda with all it's original attractions. Central Florida will never be the same for me or my innocent childhood memories.

And you know what, Hamtaro? Tomorrow will be even better!

:) i think that thorpe park may have added a few flat rides as the on the website is says the map is coming soon

Oooohh... A secret building scheme without any press releases? I hope this is true! ^_^

Actually, it looks like they're just doing a little re-design of the map, unless someone has seen something happening there?

Intriguing either way!

Heres what I heard but I am almost positive the first one isnt true

I read somewhere but it might have been a myspace that if knotts ghostrider keeps getting worse they might add MF trains

also is it true that Pony Express will be kind of a terrain coaster. If you have any info please respond.

Was looking at the Birmingham (Alabama) convention and visitors bureau website and found this bit of info for Alabama Adventure park.

Alabama Adventure

The New Name for Fun! Formerly Visionland, the park features a theme park and water park. In addition to new rides in the existing theme and water park, the plan calls for the following amenities: an animal park, a hotel with an indoor water park, a sports complex, RV park, interactive water play area, stock car racing zone and many more exciting attractions.

Haven't had time to research the plan mentioned, and, there just didn't seem to be enough official sources or press releases to warrant a thread, so it's in here.

Did not even know there was an indoor water park (similar to Kalahari or Great Wolf) proposed. Birmingham has a zoo, so bringing in another animal park seems odd, unless the idea is to have animals that the zoo doesn't.

Anyway, thought I'd pass this along for those interested, particularly all the Bama Boys / folks around Tuscaloosa.

I think its just a myspace rumor. I dont think GCI will install MF's on any coaster they didnt build.

Quote from the member parkjunkie on the www.sfstl.net boards.

New trains arrive, but not for EK

Just to fill everyone in on a little tid bit, the gerstrauler trains from MEGA ZEPH at SF New Orleans were spotted in the parking lot today, finding a new home here at SFSTL. Actually, it was only one train so far, but supposedly theyre waitng on the shipment of the others. Hopefully, they'll just use them as alternates for Boss, but I'm a little concerned with what kind of crazy sh!t to save a buck the board of directors has pulled in the past, that they may be used on EK. I seriously don't see it happening though since renderings of the GCI"s M.F.s with a patriotic paint job have been floating around. From what I could find out, the train, still with the Mega Zeph paint job, is pretty beat up looking, granted it did make it through a massive hurricane. But anyway, just thought this was a little bit of info everyone would like to know........

I really hope they just use these on the Boss and not EK. That would just be horrible if they did.

2008/2009 - Sesame Street Attractions and 4D Theater - Rumor - (1/22/08) I first heard this rumor over a year ago, but it’s come up again that the Timbuktu area could be given some kind of Sesame Street theme in the future to go along with the new 4D Sesame Street film. We don’t know if they may try to just add a few Sesame Street themes to existing rides and buildings, add a few new themed flats or if they are thinking of something far more dramatic. On another note, I don’t know if this is related to Sesame Street or Jungala or something else entirely, but we’ve heard that a new kiddie flat ride may also appear at the park sometime in the next year.

Poo poo, I hope this rumor doesn't come true. 2009 is the park's 50th anniversary. BGA will have 2 kiddie areas already after Jungala opens up in April. Timbuktu was renovated throughout 2003-04 (why renovate it again and retheme it to Sesame Street) and lastly, we need some ADULT flat rides or possibly a new coaster. Just a BANG in general for the park's 50th anniversary.

*kicks back and prays for a B&M Hyper or a flat ride package*

ugh! re theme Timbuktu to sesame????? I hope this is a wild rumor. I know that last year when Pygmy Village was removed there was a rumor going on saying that they were going to put one of the kiddie rides (from Pygmy village) in the Timbuktu area but it never happen. Maybe this could be it. But I don't want sesame street invading TBT. I rather it invade LOD.
