Just my "crazy idea" for the day - I think that Six Flags could build a decent park featuring only their "clone" models:

- Ride of Steel

- Roar

- Batman TR

- Superman UF

- Mr Freeze

- Joker's Jinx

- any Vekoma boomerang

- Pandemonium

Don't forget Discovery Kingdom's Superman: Ultimate Flight (not a clone yet), Skyscreamer, Tsunami Soaker, and Super Loops, V2: Vertical Velocity.

If the Led Zepplin/Time Machine coaster is going to be relocated to Darien Lake, they can put in where 'Cuda Falls was and call it "Barracuda"!

I forgot what article but i saw it going to another country and it was confirmed. Now i just can't find that article. (It was a reliable source too).

What about a coaster with invisible track so that you can't see at all where you're going next? (and that would truly be like flying)

I don't think an invisible track would possible in real life because it would have to made of glass, not steel or wood and glass breaks too easily especially if there's a coaster train going at 60 mph on it.

^Yeah, true. But maybe one day it would be possible to make a more or less transparent one.

I know this is unreal, though. That's why I posted it here.

I wonder if RMC could make a launch coaster. They can make magnetic brakes, so they can just reverse the magnetic flow, and supercharge them! It will have CRAZY airtime, and 300 barrel rolls. Anyone want them to go over 200 feet?

I think that's where Mack is heading with their Virtual Reality concept.

I don't like it on outdoor coasters because actual scenery is still better, but why not in pitch-black craps, like Eurosat or Temple of the Night Hawk?

I could see Virtual Reality being more of a reality now then when it was hyped up in the mid 90s. Virtual Reality could just be next thing in amusement ride technology.

For individualized experiences, sure. But there's a certain neat thing - I'm not quite sure what it is - that comes from being able to enjoy experiences together and to be able to see, hear and communicate with the people next to you.

^True. Riding coasters may mostly be an individual experience but not entirely. If not we wouldn't find it more fun to ride with friends than with complete strangers. And I prefer to ride with strangers than alone.

I think that as we (enthusiasts) are more "comfortable" riding coasters we can pay more attention to some details most people don't because they are not as used to these rides. Some of those details (at least in my case) are the reactions of the other riders. I remember finding it extremely fun to ride furius baco in the back with lots of friends in the other rows because I could see how each one was doing, if they had their hands up,...

^Ow!

I could think of one thing that could be worse than a wooden cobra roll, a wooden coaster with 3 loops, a double corkscrew, and a batwing inversion that is made of all wood, no steel!
