Hey there!

I'm Michael

I'm from Louisville, KY. So my home park is Kentucky Kingdom. Words really can't describe how stoked I am for it to finally be opening up again after Six Flags ran it into the ground. But since Kentucky Kingdom has been closed for several years, I've sort of adopted Kings Island as my home park.

I'm 21 years old and a full time college student. I'm an openly gay, sports loving, science geek.

See you around or something

Hey all!

I am Ethan from the Land of Lincoln! (I live about an hour and a half from SFGAm)

I am also a big Six Flags Great America fan! I've been on here for over a month but never said "hi"....until now!

In school I am an all-out nerd, but people still think I am cool. Speaking of cool... I just can't wait for Goliath to open in May!

Do I sound over-enthusiastic? Anyways,I can't wait to meet you all!

Hello duckies!

So, erm, hi. I loiter the youtube channel on occasion. My name is Eve and I have a growing interest in theme parks. My nearest park is Alton Towers and I visit frequently, and I've been to a couple of other British parks and, erm, Aqualand in Majorca when I was 12 . I'm hoping to make some money and travel because I currently have a 6ft long list of US and European parks on my to-do list.

This forum seems so chill! And interesting! Can't wait for some conversation and all that.

Hi everyone.

I'm Chris and I'm a theme park/coaster enthusiast. I live in the U.K. and my family and I regularly visit the major parks, here.

I've been following the adventures of TPR on Facebook and You Tube for a long time and thought it about time that I join up and get chatting with like minded individuals.

I call myself crankydadchris because of obvious reasons (i'm a dad and I get cranky a lot!)

Nice to meet you all!

Chris.

Hey everyone!

My name is Colleen. I'm 28 and I live in Tampa, Florida. I love hockey, baseball, craft beer, and coasters. I joined years ago, but kind of forgot about it. So here I am again. My closest park is Busch Gardens Tampa which is about 20 minutes from my house. Orlando is around an hour or so, so that rules too.

A few months ago a friend and I started talking about always wanting to go to Cedar Point. So I started planning a little vacation up to Ohio. She unfortunately wouldn't be able to swing it, but I already got the idea in my head. My trip to Ohio ended up turning into an 11 day, hopefully 5 park jaunt to SFGam, Cedar Point, King's Island, SFGadv, and Hershey Park if I have the time. This is getting long.

Anyway, If anyone sees me between the dates of June 2 - June 11th at any of those parks SAY HI! I'm the nice girl with the glasses and sleeve tattoo! I like new people.

Hi, I'm JoAnne. Dunno how often I'll be here, but I love roller coasters and had a Cedar Point platinum pass the last two years. Still contemplating it for this year since I had a heart attack last May. I rode Gatekeeper (twice) and Millennium Force in July and didn't die, though, so there's that...

Hello guys!

I am new to this site and I was wondering in which part of the forum I can post ideas on. Is this the right part to post your ideas?

Thank you!

What do you mean "post ideas"? Please provide some examples.

The moderators try to keep the sight neat and organized, please take some time and familiarize yourself with the site and it should be logical where different "ideas" can be posted.

Threads such as this exist in the main forum themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=66766.

But please use the SEARCH function before starting any new threads, there are many "idea" threads floating around. Also please do not start any comparison threads (Hey guys what's better SFMM or Cedar Point) unless you are trying to get ideas for trip planning purposes.

Hi everyone,

I'm Heth (generally Hethetheth on other forums, but that became a bit of a mouthful for some people, including myself) and I'm a long-time lurker, first time poster at TPR. I'm really interested in theme park simulations, particularly RCT3, but over the last few years I've gotten more into visiting theme parks outside of my home country of the UK, and have as a result been spending a lot of time reading about foreign parks...which leads me here!

I am a 20-something Architecture student in the UK, and even wrote my dissertation on the subject of architecture's relation to theme parks during the last semester.

I hope to get to know people well and have fun discussing theme parks.

Thanks,

Heth.

Hello all, I'm just a dude that's been an off and on coaster enthusiast over the years. I don't consider myself a full-on enthusiast anymore but I do still enjoy seeing the projects other parks have been doing. Glad to be here!

Hi there! I'm Anne and I'm EB's girlfriend. After our mini trip in Germany last weekend there's no denying that I have a coaster gene anymore, so I thought this would be a good time to register here I'm 24 years old, live in the Netherlands and I'm studying Equine Business Management. In my spare time I'm a miniature tack maker for model horses, scale 1:9.

As far as roller coasters go I'm still pretty unexperienced with 33 strict in total, but I've ridden a couple of great ones already (Expedition GeForce, Troy). So far Troy is my favorite. I live 20 minutes from Walibi Holland but I consider Efteling my home park, since I've been going there once every year for as long as I can remember. Since two weeks I'm happy to say I have an annual pass for Efteling, yay!! Chances are I'll be joining EB on a TPR trip sometime in the future, but in the meantime we'll keep doing weekend trips closer to home.

Also, I like dragons.

Hello, I am Phoenix. It seems to be a trend for me to make late intros (one was three years after I joined), but anyways, I've been a member for almost a year, I mainly stay hidden in the chat room, and I love HAUNTS!!! If you ever want to chat, you know where to find me (by that I mean the chat room, I don't want to see TPR members coming to my doorstep to talk). Anyways, this concludes my "almost a year late" intro. I'm looking forward to meeting more of you!

Hello,

I'm Dave. I live in NJ and I've just recently gotten into roller coasters. Part of what helped me conquer my fear of coasters was seeing a little girl like Robb Alvey's daughter riding "big" coasters. I figured if a young girl like her can ride them, so can a guy in his 30s like me.

I frequent both Dorney Park and Six Flags: Great Adventure.

Some random sentences about me:

I go by Brian, primarily.

I live by the Mississippi River on the IL/IA border.

The closest park to me is actually Adventureland in Altoona, IA, about 2.5 hours away.

I've loved coasters almost my entire life, and my count is currently at 270. I've been to a bunch of parks across the US and two in Canada. My favorite park is Cedar Point.

I've read the forums for over a year now and just joined a few days ago.

Aside from coasters, I absolutely love road trips, skiing, hiking, kayaking, and video games. I'm going to start camping very soon as well (just ordered a tent earlier this week).

Hi!

My name is Paul, from Sheffield in England, though I currently live near Ashbourne in Derbyshire.

I live literally 25 minutes away from Alton Towers and absolutely love my local park.

While I have always been a coaster fan, I think in the last 6 months I have got the full on geek bug, I think when I found myself looking at wikipedia for several hours finding out which Vekoma inverters I had suffered on and their fate, I realised I was becomming a coaster geek. I found this site through the excellent you tube videos and phot reviews by Robb and the team and thought I would join up and say hi.

I work in Mortgage Advice and have a lovely wife and two young children. My favourite park is Alton Towers (biased) though I have to give honourable mention to Blackpool Pleasure Beach due to the excellent woodies (Grand National WOW) and Steeplechase which is totally unique, anyone visiting the UK NEEDS to go to this park above any other for that experience.

Fave coaster? I do love those at Blackpool but I have to go for my baby, even after all these years as intense and smooth as any steel coaster in the world. Take a bow B&M, with Nemesis you are spoiling us.

Hello everyone anyway. Looking forward to being part of the TPR forum
