"Finished" LA Noire. Thought it was OK. Got really repetitive after awhile, and the story got a little too confusing if you're like me and only play an hour at a time, every couple of days. I'll likely go back and finish the side objectives in the coming weeks. I do like that you got free downloads when you achieved certain things.

Started Assasin's Creed the other night. Not at all what I thought it was.

Finally got the chance to play through Skyward Sword. I am ready for the final boss battle(s) but will probably goof off for a while and try and do a bunch of the side missions first. Also, it appears that using the shield will be a necessity for the final battles, so I guess I should learn how to use one first (seeing how I haven't bothered using it the entire game!).

I've actually found the controls to be kind of a pain in this one. Not sure if it is just the calibration with my controller, but I have had some trouble with the movements of Link responding correctly to my motions with the controller. For instance, I had a bitch of a time with the mine carts as I would be leaning one direction, and the cart would randomly decide to shift the other way.

Definitely found Twilight Princess to be more enjoyable than this one.

To each their own. I found SS to be much more fun than TP. Controls, story, and all.

Not even going to bother with Skylanders. I want a legitimate full-fledged Spyro game. Not a spin-off with his name tacked onto it in order to make a quick buck.

Also, has anyone gotten VVVVVV on the eshop yet. I still have yet to, but it's definitely on my list. I loved the demo.

Still hooked on Super Meat Boy on the Xbox 360. The game is absolutely f***ing balls-to-the-walls hard.. but I still managed to get an A+ on all of the light world levels up to and through Hell, and completing all of the dark world levels up to about halfway through The Factory.

Yeah, the game makes me want to punch many a hole in my walls, but it's a really great, addictive game. I recommend it, if you're up for a challenge.

Also, I rediscovered the iOS game Superbrothers: Swords and Sworcery EP, which I bought months ago and never even started. I got through the first and second sessions in one sitting, and WOW is this game impressive. The hipster-y writing may get obnoxious, but the graphics are lovely, the style amazing, the music PHENOMENAL.. It's just great overall.

I'm currently about 75% done with Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7. It's not as good as the first one due to some glitches, but it is still one of the better Lego games. I'm also about 50% done with Pokemon Black. I'm enjoying this one a lot more than Pearl, but there are quite a few things I don't like about it. I just wish they could get more creative with Pokemon designs, and not use very similar ones with different names and appearances.

Just purchased Motorstorm Apocalypse last night, fun game. I love racing through the wrecked city as track deformations are all happening on the fly just seconds before you, completely changing up the race. Also, can't wait for Twisted Metal all of a sudden. I've been having dreams about TM2 as that's what I played a lot back in 96-98; my friend and I would pull all nighters blowing up the Eiffel Tower, leaping across buildings, and making the Statue of Liberty become fat, wearing a bikini followed by her crumbling down...I miss those days

Currently still hooked on LittleBigPlanet 2, just made a "Unicycle Bomb Survival" level, where you have to try to dodge bombs, while letting the bombs deform the ground and make way to the level's exit...all while riding a unicycle (that self-balances like a segway).

Playing BTTF on PS3 right now. I have to say I wasn't impressed at first due to the poor gameply. However after banging on it for a few minutes and completing the first of five episodes...I have to say it's really fun if you A: disregard the game as more of an interactive movie and B: are a fan of the trilogy and would've like to see it expanded. It's only 20 bucks so I'd say it's a great pick-up.

Is it sad that I did not get frustrated at all playing through the Water Temple on Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Master Quest? I finished the temple in two sittings, Gold Skulltulas and everything.

I haven't gotten to the Water Temple on MQ yet, still hanging out in Dodongo's Cavern primarily because I haven't played it in a while. I did however breeze through the water temple on OoT when I got the 3DS version (Did not resort to any walkthroughs/let's plays). Back in 2000 when I played the N64, the 'dreaded' water temple is where I stopped as I was completely lost. It was also tedious going through the menu repeatedly to put on and remove the boots.

I think I need to get back to Skyward Sword now.

I decided to start shaving precious seconds off of my Mario Kart 7 time trials.

After a multitude of tries and restarts, I cranked out some good times -

Rock Rock Mountain - 2:18:756.

DS Waluigi Pinball - 2:27:106.

Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I'm using Toad with Standard Kart, Standard Wheels, and Super Glider.

Any of you PS3 owners get the new Twisted Metal yet? It's pretty awesome. I was a huge TM player back when the first 2 came out on the PSone...mainly TM2. The new Twisted Metal game was just released yesterday, making an awesome birthday gift

The game is pretty fast-pased chaotic vehicle warfare for those unaware of the series. You get enemies ganging up on you where you have to quickly get out of their gunfire, and start firing back at them. Fun stuff, just gotta get used to the controls before I take on some of the real players.

I'm happy to hear the game is good. unfortunately (or fortunately I guess), I have so many games that I got for christmas that are unopened yet to be played that I have to hold off on buying Twisted Metal for a few months.

I preordered it from Amazon to get the LE upgrade for free. I'm glad I did because Axel is a kickass character, and TM Black was a cool incentive. I had been looking to re-buy that.

Meatwagon's awesome...the name, it's special, and it's alternate special. Sure, it's sick, demented and ridiculous but that is what Twisted Metal's all about! Who can't be more than satisfied by launching gurneys with patients still strapped to it, with explosive devices attached to the gurney as well? Or pilot a gurney remotely and detonate it behind somebody.

Sweet Tooth is also cool but I seem to like the more 'squirrely-controlling' vehicles, as in when I hold X, I can turn on a dime and immediately get myself out of a situation or to make a quick u-turn. Sweet Tooth (and I'm sure the larger vehicles like Darkside) has a much wider turning radius when you hold X for the sharp turns. Oh, and Talon is pretty interesting...Nice to get a birds-eye view of all of the chaos.

I have yet to try out TM Black, all of the first 'launch' copies of TM came with TM:B, in which I've heard that TM:B is supposed to be really good.

Just prior to getting my copy of the new TM, I had the urge to play it old school with Twisted Metal 2 for the PSX. Memories immediately settled in as I raced through Paris and 'sploded the Eiffel Tower, or hopping rooftops in NY and fire missiles at Mrs. Liberty and turn her into a bikini babe.

Oh yea, almost forgot...anyone check out the Thrills and Spills adventure park? It has a Fabbri Kamikaze flat ride (Strikingly close to a Kamakaze anyway), a GP-ish Japan-style coaster (with catwalks around the entire course including the lone loop), swinging ship, ferris wheel, and a 3-up S&S-like tower that looks pretty good. Even the title for the Thrills and Spills park looks like something for a Cedar Fair park. Some developers must have been doing some research

Playing Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the 360. Metal Gear Solid 2 specifically right now. I forgot how much I enjoy this game.

I dusted off and hooked up my Gamecube to give a Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes a spin next... (Yeah, I have a Wii, but don't like to play Gamecube games on it for some reason...)

Then back to the HD collection to try my hand at MGS3 Snake Eater. I never did complete this game back on PS2... I got stuck and gave up... maybe now I will... And yeah, I am WELL aware that I am playing these WAY out of order...

Also tinkering with Rhythm Heaven Fever on Wii... and its much more challenging than I ever imagined!!
