I'm not sure, but what makes it an aquatrax is the vehicle design and track design which allows, if wanted, a "splashdown" type effect that cannot be achieved on their rocket coasters, per se, or their normal coasters. It's just a different design.

And i have to admit that Aqua Trax jokes are really funny! "Hmm... maybe it was aqua next to some trax.

Do you ever wonder if these construction workers realize just how many people are watching them work on the webcams?

 

It'd be pretty creepy if my office had a wecam facing my desk.

Has anyone even bugged to check the webcam lately! It seems big zoom u7p close of new track right next to the webcam has appeared.

 

You know its funny. the S-curve and the supports leading from it (under the big section of track nearest the webcam looks lik El toro's finale!

Wow. I had no idea it would go that high. I didn't know they were building those supports until I saw the webcam today. It's either going to fly through those low turns so it can clear that hill, or that hill is toward the beginning of the ride.

i am still blown away as how they can get all those track/support connectors/footers to line up within millimeters. i guess architecture is not a strong point of mine, but this kind of thing there can be no room for error.

 

how the heck do they get these parts to go in those places? its not exactly a jigsaw puzzle

Lasers, surveying, great engineering and computers. That's how they line it all up exactly.

 

It's pretty cool that they're bolting a piece of track in right now. How exciting.
