That was Tony Clark and testing was seen one night also. Been pretty silent since and also saw that the testing might of just been on one car to see how the new parts hold up. might hear more this week.

Video played just fine for me. Someone's getting a chewing out and/or potentially fired after that. That's all they would have needed was for someone else to get injured at the park. Plus is one of the camels had gotten hurt PETA would be all up their ass.

Well PETA is going after them anyway. Not so much the park itself but the company that provides the animals and, I think, the staff for the petting/animal areas. Demanding an investigation and that the state do extra inspections, etc, etc. And then apparently goats got loose a few days later.

1) I wonder how many people got triggered when she said "The Maverick."

B...) Is this and upcharge attraction? I'll pay for it.

I notice it. Didn't get triggered, lol, but noticed it.

I'm curious what the price point will be.  SF kept the annual passes low while CF hovered around twice the amount depending on the tier.

Kings Dominion has Gold plus All Parks for $183.00.   Seems like no real difference since last year (maybe even cheaper?). Sounds good to me.

Cedar Point has announced that Snake River Falls will officially close on Labor Day, September 2nd, 2024 to make way for future expansion.

Get ready to go over the falls one last time.

After 31 years of soaking riders (both on the ride and over its splashy bridge), it’s time to “wave” goodbye to the Snake River Falls boat ride.

Opened in 1993, Snake River Falls debuted as the tallest, steepest & fastest water flume ride in the world. Standing 82 feet above Frontier Town, nobody had ever seen anything like it.

Original concept art showcased the ride’s boats climbing up and over a mountain and meandering through a tunnel before plunging down into a giant wave up to 64 feet wide and 30 feet long.

One of the most unique highlights of the ride has always been the exit bridge that traverses over the flume. Over the years, we’ve had a blast watching riders analyze just the right timing to either avoid, or stand right in the middle of, the next boat’s 1,920-square-foot tidal wave…a second way to enjoy the ride, if you will.

Now’s your last chance to do just that.

Snake River Falls will permanently end its operation on Labor Day, September 2, 2024, as we make way for future expansion. What’s that expansion? Of course we can’t tell you that. Yet.

As with previous attractions that have reached the end of their serviceable life, we honor & respect the past but look forward to future FUN for generations to come.

We’ll have more details on a special “last splash” in the coming weeks. For now, take the plunge and join the more than 15 million guests who have enjoyed their ride over the falls!

Hopefully we get more answers on what all they need to do.  Wonder if some track modifications will need to be done or more supports added.

Someone pointed out that the track sways on the front top hat after the train goes up, and that is completely normal. But questions if it was originally engineered to have the train repeatedly go up back down then back up again.

I mean when the train before would roll back that wasn't a quick process to get it back to the launch and reset. In my head makes some sense but I am far from an engineer.

I know the train is a big part of this but wonder if there is much bigger issues coming to light now.

The new ride is revealed tomorrow. There are teasers online. I couldn't find any direct from CP, so they're all from other coaster channels. You'll have to search them on youtube yourselves.
