TJ27 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 ^That is my favorite Cedar Point commercial. It really reminds me of the CP that I love. I think CF should make commercials like that for all their parks.
Geauga Dog Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 And it would be nice if they used actual footage from the park they are advertising. While the GP wouldn't know it I could easily point out Knott's rides in a Cedar Point commerical.

To someone like me, it's very easy to tell which footage is from the park they are advertising and which is not; mainly Cedar Point. I understand that it may be 'stock footage' but still, come on.
XYZ Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Enough with the Dear Pat commercials, they're driving me nuts:
TJ27 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 ^CEDAR POINT THE FUN AND ONLY! Stupid commercial
coastermaniac Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 ^ Those commercials did annoy me quite a lot.
Philrad71 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 ^It's quite clear that Pat is her lesbian lover.
TPOLMike Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I never understood why they show kids that aren't tall enough for any of the coasters with those same coasters in the background...
galindoverhere Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 ^^Yes!!! Not only that, they only showed about TWO SECONDS of Planet Snoopy, and even that won't attract kids...

wesley815 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 ...no "Dear Pat" out here in SoCal, guess she likes CP better.
galindoverhere Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 ...no "Dear Pat" out here in SoCal, guess she likes CP better. It used to say "Dear Someone... (I forgot who )" but the Knotts commercials are much more upbeat and cheery!
f1fan12 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Those dumb Fun and Only commercials are bad enough, but I saw somewhere on youtube, that Cedar fair crammed the word Michigans Adventure in the spot where they say the parks name.

deathbydinn Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Minute 30 seconds in, sounds fine to me..
galindoverhere Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Minute 30 seconds in, sounds fine to me.. They forgot Knott's... not only that I spotted a Knott's ride at Kings Island!!
XYZ Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Minute 30 seconds in, sounds fine to me.. These commercials are also driving me nuts. I wonder why GhostRider segments are in multiple commercials for different parks.
triggernel Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Me and my friends were trying to figure out how the heck they would fit MIA into that song. I still have the recording of the entrance loop that I brought back for proof. Haha
6flagsbrad Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I never really realized they basically use the same commercial for all of the cedar fair parks. I had just only seen the Knotts one a million times. After watching all of these, that song has never been so annoying until now.
XYZ Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 This makes me laugh: Quotes from video: "I'll ride every ride 15 times." My comment: Ya right "I was born on a roller coaster" My comment: About the video below, isn't every other ride found at Knotts?
