larrygator Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Can we have sex on the trip? Only with yourself What should make this trip any different from your regular life!
TatsuXtreme Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 i'd go on the mid us trip but im only 15 now, and i wont be 16 until august 6th 2007 and theres no way in hell my mom will go with me.
Homer78 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 My wife and I may go and I was wondering if there will be other couples on the trip. Or will it mostly be younger, single people traveling by themselves? Were there a lot of couples on the UK trip? Thanks.
SharkTums Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 We had at least 7 couples (married, dating, engaged, etc.) on the UK trip. It's by far not just a bunch of kids. Already for the midwest trip we have some families signed up too.

SharkTums Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Hey Dave, We're still working on some things. The trip WILL be the first two weeks of September 07. It will mainly focus on parks that the ACE/ECC trip did NOT do. There may be an add on to Hong Kong. Right now the trip is looking to be about $3800. But this will fluctuate based on the final itinerary (we have three itineraries right now, ranging from 14 - 17 days, at least 20 parks on each!) Hope this helps a bit. I promise as SOON as we have the finalized information we will post it.
nesdude Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 So. After reading, re-reading, then re-reading some more, I think I'm finally ready to ask a question that I'm almost sure hasn't been answered before. My name is Chris, and I'm trying to do everything in my power to be able to go on the Midwest 2007 TPR trip. I believe that it would be a great experience, not only for the coasters but for the people that you'd meet. Well, the coasters are a big part of it too, I guess, as no one else in my family enjoy coasters and it's a pain getting them to parks. Next April will mark my 17th birthday. I understand from the flyer that 16 and 17 year olds need 2 additional things besides money: "a signed medical release and waiver from their parent or guardian as well as be personally approved by Theme Park Review." My question is how can we go about getting a medical release form and waiver for the parents, and how can we be approved by TPR? Does this happen after a deposit is in? The only thing I notice on the flyer is that the deposit must include your name, 'Midwest Trip', and detailed contact information including address, phone number, and email address. Should this also include our parents contact information? I would assume yes, but it's always better to check. And that's all I have for now, hopefully that's all I'll ever have. Thanks for your time answering these questions, and I hope to see at least some of you in 2007. -nesdude
SharkTums Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 ^Hi there! Yes please include all contact info for you and your parents. Go ahead and first get your deposit in. Then we will contact you and your parents. If you make it onto the trip, much closer to the actual trip we will send you the forms that you'll need your parents to sign. Hope this helps!
jedimaster1227 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Hey Elissa, how many spots are left on the Midwest USA Trip? I am trying to convince my parents to let my brother and I go on this trip and if I make it seem more urgent that they need to put in a deposit, then they will have to make their decision sooner (and that is a good thing!) I am already picturing myself back on the Son of the Beast at PKI (Heres hoping that it will be open again) and finally getting to ride the infamous Top Thrill Dragster. Oh, and Maverick looks awesome too! I can't wait!!!

SharkTums Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Keep in mind there may have to be a lottery so technically your deposit doesn't have to be in until the 28th of September...BUT the sooner we get it, the more time we have to figure out how to get everyone on the trip, so the sooner, the better!!!
jedimaster1227 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Umm, you could just tell them it's urgent. Until they email Rob and Elissa themselves to ask. They are the kind of parents that want to know every detail, which is why I am asking before they do. It just makes it easier for myself and them (and I guess, Rob and Elissa because then they won't have to hear from my parents for another month). Keep in mind there may have to be a lottery so technically your deposit doesn't have to be in until the 28th of September...BUT the sooner we get it, the more time we have to figure out how to get everyone on the trip, so the sooner, the better!!! Ok, thanks Elissa! I will explain that to them and make sure that I get that deposit in!
jarmor Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I hear everyone asling about the mindwest...is anyone interested in the trips abroad? And I didnt put my contact info on the deposit is it urgent??
SharkTums Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 ^We have lots signed up for Spain also. Jarvis, I'll need your contact info at some point...just get it to me in the next couple of weeks please.
nesdude Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Wow - a response to my question in 2 minutes. And here I come back the next morning to hopefully see a response, and there it is. Thanks for the quick response. Talked it over with my mother, her initial reaction was shock that I would even be asking such a thing as to go on the trip, but then she saw it from my point of view and would consider it and get back to me. Yay. Once again, thanks for the quick response. -nesdude
deguy123 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 ^^^ Yeah I don't hear much about the Spain trip also but I'm sure it's close to getting full. I sent mine in a while ago for Spain, can't wait.
coaster05 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I think the Spain group is a group that has a lot less young people, so therefore they are probably not posting nearly as often.
deguy123 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 ^ Good point..LOL..I was going to put that but couldn't think of a nice way to say it
Carnage Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Plus the Spain trip is looking to have the largest amount of UK Tripers. We got our own forum to talk about it. Plus there's really very few questions that we'd need to ask as we've already been through one trip, and know what to expect and when.
deguy123 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 ^ There is a forum for the Spain trip or do you mean the UK forum?
