Dude! We love Black People! The more the merrier! Wait, am I allowed to say that??? Does that sound bad???

Eh, we're all equal opportunity and crap so I don't think we have any quotas!

I don't think that Europe is anymore racist than America is so you'll be fine. Plus we'll kick anyone's ass that gives any of our trip peeps trouble! Just ask Casey about the 'spitting incident'!

I have not understood very well it of the racism, but here in Europe there is no racism. The policemen do not give you beatings for being neither black or anything, often we it see in the news that it happens in USA and take the hands to ourselves to the head...

And on the trip ... which is the deadline to deliver the deposit? I even not if I will be able to go, though, since already you know, I would be charmed with it.

^here in Belgium it's a little bit different...

A belgian youngster was stabbed to death for his MP3 player, skinheads have punched black guys in the hospital, almost 1/3 of belgians vote for the extreme right guys (racists basically) in the election. So I wouldn't say racism doesn't exist in Europe

It's really not fun to hear...

But that discussion is for a different thread

but here in Europe there is no racism.

A difficult statement to believe when we sometimes see footage of skinheads in Germany on the news, or as rumors percolated during the World Cup as to what the Italians were saying to Zindane to cause him to head butt the Italian player. We hear now that the comments were about his sister but at the time most thought it was an ethnic slur.

Granted some countries/region/areas/cities are more tolerant than others and I've rarely heard of trouble in Spain.

If DailyBugle and Jarvis both join there would be no tokens, since a token can only exist if there is one. Jarvis - the only extra perk is first dibs on rooming with Barry if he is on a given trip.

ooh, ERT on Elissa? I WANT I WANT!!!!! '

I just keep going over all of the parks again and again in my mind, and even if the park perks we get are fully loaded, or a crackerjack ring; the midwest trip is going to be insane!

Would there be any sort of collegiate benefit for this? Like could I put that I went on this trip on my resume for colleges? Mom's making me ask, but I am kinda curious...

If you are looking for something to put on appications I think you came to the wrong place (thought it could be an interesting story to tell in an interview if you can find some useful quality to extract from your experiences)... I recommend trying your local accounting firm.

I'm not only doing this for the application, I want to go to the thrills as much as the next guy. I was just saying it would be a nice little bonus...

Like from a students standpoint, if we do get walkbacks and such it would be a nice chance to see the rides upclose & personal, and be able to like analyze the structural integrity and how it manages with wear and tear of the outdoors. You know, schoolsy stuff. Also maybe I could ask questions to park owners/representatives about the process of going through construction permits, design planning, footprint space, name patents, etc.. I dont strictly want to do this as part of learning and such, I'll do enough of that with 4 AP classes on my plate this year.

EDIT: If you didnt derive it from the above description of what I could learn, I want to be able to design coasters as a career.

I actualy was hoping that the TPR UK trip would help me become an astronaut.

Unforunatly I realized that it really did nothing to accomplish that dream.

I'm still holding out hope though that the Spain trip will help me become a bull fighter.

Good luck with that, dude.

Yeah, we looked into it! (One small park we were thinking of is nearby)

Then I realized, I can't even trust most of you guys on a trip, add in some stampeding bulls, yeah TPR wants NO part of that!

You of course are welcome to add that on, make sure to take lots of pictures and video of the bulls killing you guys!

I don't blame you. The insurance involved in bringing a tour group to the running of the bulls would probably be insane.

I've actually stopped using my video camera, but I would definetly bring it just for that.

Probably a good chance that one of us would outdo your ass bruise. Getting gored in the ass by a bull would definetly do the trick.
