atem122
Everyone at my school was able to read Ride Superman Sdrawkcab...it was pretty cool.
coasternut
Well I was by the mountain again today. The crane was back at X2 with a guy in a bucket grinding and welding the bottom of the saddleback before the first vertical drop. This was about 1:30. I didn't see any Superman launches while I was there for about 25 minutes. My fingers are crossed for tomorrow. They had great weather to fix and test it! CharlieT.
^Thanks. And yeah, I sure hope it's ready too. If the weather doesn't prevent operation, I'm planning on getting in line right after morning ERT ends before the general public gets in the park. *fingers crossed*
coasternut
^just to clarify, what ride are you talking about that they are doing welding on? Â Sorry I updated my post. It was X2 with the crane, grinding and welding. My bad!!!
CharlieT.
^No problem! It was probably obvious to everyone but me, so it's no big deal So are they just doing some ordinary welding on it? Nothing extensive?
downunder
^Aren't ACErs coming the same weekend as WCB, maybe they are strengthening the X2 structures in anticipation of the extra weight? Â I'd love some ERT on X2, lucky WCB people.

downunder
There is an old Australian film called "The Cars That Ate Paris", I see a sequel - "The ACErs That Ate Santa Clarita". Â With the extra demand, gravy prices are going to go through the roof in the Valencia area this weekend. Â I reckon you should have a rumble with the ACErs in the parking lot. DefinitiveDetour
I can already see it now like a Weird Al music Video... Â Â "Just Eat It, eat it , eat it.... Just Eat it, eat it, eat it...."
SharkTums
I reckon you should have a rumble with the ACErs in the parking lot. Â Rumble as in the noise their stomach makes when there's not enough gravy or Rumble as in the noise the floor makes when they move? Â Thanks folks, I'll be here all week! BarryH
^^Maybe the "Fat" video would be more appropriate.
downunder
I'd love to see them make it up the hill to Tatsu or Ninja or Superman in their mobility scooters (the I'm too fat to be bothered walking scooters). Those scooter motors won't be rumbling for long.
Gmaster562
Im sure it will be the first time I see a line on the Orient Express!
downunder
I didn't even know that Orient Express was operating (not that I've been paying attention). I hope it's down for maintenance when ACE are there. If it isn't,someone should bring a closed sign.
cal1br3tto
Orient Express is so quaint! Â Um...does the park still have "Allison" the announcer?
Chrisrad
Â Um...does the park still have "Allison" the announcer? Â Yes! Â The donuts, according to Allison, are good. And, on the sky tower elevator ride, she gives you a spiel about the park's history, with some pretty good facts/info. Â But yeah.. she's a bit too friendly.. Chrisrad
 Um...does the park still have "Allison" the announcer?  Yes!  The donuts, according to Allison, are good. And, on the sky tower elevator ride, she gives you a spiel about the park's history, with some pretty good facts/info.  But yeah.. she's a bit too friendly..  That recording with Allison has been replaced. Both she and Mr.Six are gone for now.  Whoops! My apologies for stating that.  That tells you how long it's been since I was there last (September)...   As for today's filming, I hope to see some trip reports in some way or another! I was invited to go, but called in for a last minute job interview in town so, unfortunately, I chose the job interview  I'm looking forward to WCB though! That will more than suffice for not making it up there today!
cal1br3tto
Thanks for the info guys! Would it be rude to say I'm relieved now? (Well, depending on the replacement audio...)
greatamerica1990sfan
Question about the qbot: -Let's say I get there before they open the gates. How long does it take to get the qbot? -Do they charge tax on the qbot? -X2 is still an extra charge??? -Why isn't Superman on there-especially the Platium? -Doesn't it make people in line pissed off seeing you get to ride again if you have the Platium qbot? -Let's say I do my 2 rides in a row on Riddler & Tatsu & Viper. Am I able to go back to those later in the day to do another 2 rides? -But for X2 you can't do another 2 rides later-only one set of 2 rides is all you get?
