  1. Here's a link to the official website. They have some videos and pictures. http://www.skycoaster.com/home.html
  2. Actually, it gets pretty good crowds. They really don't have any rides with awful capacities, save Timber Wolf, so it doesn't show in the lines. LOVE SFKK - Why couldn't it? I'm sure it won't, but there's no reason WoF wouldn't decide to take out the Heart of America Theater and put in X-Flight for 2008. At this point, my vote is in favor of PKI.
  3. ^At least they give their smaller parks decent rides, which is more than SFI can say, and look where they ended up. Even MIA has Shivering Timbers. When I said WoF should use X-Flight to replace Boomerang, I was obviously not being serious. I would be overjoyed if WoF got it (they have way more room than most people realize), but I doubt it will go further west than Muskegon.
  4. ^Yeah, it gets that way in the winter, too. I have vivid memories of waiting twenty minutes to get on Timberland Twister during December.
  5. I could definately see it replacing Boomerang at Worlds of Fun. God knows we need a worthier replacement for Zambezi Zinger. I would also not be surprised if they moved it to the back of Michigan's Adventure. If any CF park needs a good steelie, it's MIAdv. I understand that the attendance is pretty low, but I'm sure the funding is available somewhere for something like this. BTW, I really enjoyed X-Flight when I rode it last year. Certainly not as much as Steel Venom, Dominator, or S:UF (don't kill me for enjoying these), but definately a lot of fun! The only crap involved was being forced to stare into the sun at the beginning and end. Also, the harnesses sort of hurt my arms during the barrel rolls.
  6. ^Don't count on that. Timberland Twister can get fifteen minute lines on a bad day and Paul Bunyan's Log Chute (a must ride - excellent theming, acceptable amount of wetness, two awesome drops) can get up to thirty. If you're really unlucky you'll even have to wait fifteen or so minutes for Ripsaw. That's over an hour right there, and they still have Treetop Tumbler, Mighty Axe, Ghost Blasters, which are must-rides for enthusiasts.
  7. Here, here. You can expect some sort of merry little addition to my avatar once December rolls around, though.
  8. ^You're so kind. I don't think I've ever directly been called stupid on a forum, let alone by someone who uses "your" instead of "you're."
  9. OMG people! It's NOVEMBER! It isn't even Advent or anything yet! Take things one holiday at a time!
  10. Wow, that's only six months old... They did that to celebrate SheiKra's first birthday.
  11. I don't know, I rather enjoyed Robb's KidTums-related caption to this.
  12. I learned that I get to be in a condensed production of "Footloose," which we will be taking to IHSSA (Iowa High School Speech Association). That should be a lot of fun.
  13. Well, your park looks very nice in some places and very boring in others (theme up the area around Anubis and you'll get more points from me). If you want an Indian name, I would suggest Brahmin or Brahman. If you want a Caribbean name, try Congo or Tropica.
  14. Was Mighty Axe operating? It seems to be closed a lot lately. Sounds like you had a good time. And in answer to your question ("Shamu vs. Ripsaw") - I think Ripsaw has 15 cars and Shamu has 20 cars. Sort of like Beaver Land Mine Ride (*snicker*).
  15. Well, if we're including regular Google... Real name: 15,400,000 Username: 287,000,000 I think I still win...
  16. Whoa. You have a strange and creepy bust alongside your television. I hope you knew... It's a little frightening. Congratulations on your Wii.
  17. ^Nope, I picked it up too. Thank God I'm not alone. It was really funny, too.
  18. For my real name: 7,270 For my username: 1,890,000 - I think I win.
  19. ^I'm not even going to try to top that.
  20. Actually, I'd like to change my vote to Bathsheeba LaShawnduh Alvey.
  21. ^Actually, my mind goes into a sort of slur. "abcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxyz" I always pause after V for some reason. And I hit "fgh" and "jkl" with the same three fingers. So it's actually more like this, when slowed down: "abc de fgh ijklmnop qrstuv w x yz"
  22. 3.14 after twenty minutes of grueling self-testing. 11.734 backwards.
  23. Second Life isn't free. You have to pay real money to get the fake money. Don't throw away your first life.
  24. Hannah Alvey Hannah Elizabeth Alvey Erica Alvey ROBin ELISabeth Alvey, lol.
  25. I've got three days to cover now. I'll work backwards. Today I learned that it is possible to survive at school even after having forgotten your wallet and cell phone at home. Yesterday I was not at school because I was in Ames, where I participated in Opus Honor Choir, which is just as difficult to get into as All-State Honor Choir. On Wednesday, I learned that I will be getting a drastic schedule change at the semester mark. Let us compare. Now: 1 - PE 2 - Drama I 2.5 - "Rider" Time (our mascot is the Roughriders. I have the worst teacher I have ever had for Rider Time. We're twelve weeks in and she still doesn't know anyone's name (and that's just the tip of the iceberg)) 3 - Freshman Physics (so incredibly boring that I find myself drowsing off just typing this) 4 - Geometry 5 - Advanced English 9 6 - Advanced World History 9 7 - Prep Choir (Freshman Show Choir) Semester 2: 1 - Geometry 1.5 - Travel to Central Academy (basically an AP preparation school) 2 - English 9 and Speech 3 - Chemistry (11th grade science) 4 - Travel back to Roosevelt 5 - Drama I 6 - Advanced World History 9 7 - Prep Choir Three things really pop out at me. First, that I don't have to take PE (W00T!). Second, that I don't have to take Rider Time (W00T!), and third, that I completely skipped Sophomore Biology. I'll actually be in AP Biology next year. Supahkewl.
