Obama all the way! I would vote for Clinton if it came to that (and I could vote), but I don't like her ideas much and we DON'T need "Bush-Clinton-Bush2-Clinton2." Let's get someone else. This is getting boring.

I seem to remember using the entire queue for PBLC once. That was a nightmare. -

^They aren't new bathrooms, they're just remodeling old ones (which was seriously needed). I'm glad they're adding smoking areas (or "cancer-in-a-box" as I affectionately call them). It's always a downer to have to breathe in someone elses smoke all day. And of course the Panda Express is awesome. -
^I was fine until that guy had his mouth cut open. That was the one part that I wished I didn't have to see.

Snow Day in Minnesota: Once in a Lifetime
steel replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Random, Random, Random
Wow, it was actually worse in Iowa. At the right time on Friday, you could go outside and literally not be able to see your hand in front of your face due to blowing snow. There is more damage now than there was after the floods in the early 90's. Gov. Culver has declared disaster areas in all of the counties here - it's insane. -
Very graphic violence. I loved this movie, actually. It was a little gruesome, but it was also terrifying and mesmerizing.

"Lions" - Lost & Found "1985" - Bowling for Soup (my guilty pleasure, lol) And a bunch of showtunes that I won't take the time to name.

Those are almost certainly the most annoying commercials on television today. Honestly, no one thought the original was funny. Now I want to throw a brick at the TV whenever one comes on. This will never work.

I'm boycotting it because it replaced Studio 60.

Nickelodeon Universe (MOA) Discussion Thread

*drool* Yes, please. Avatar is actually the "oldest" show Nickelodeon shows, at least in terms of its audience. It's the only show on that channel I can ever stand to watch. And I don't see why it shouldn't be the Euro-Fighter. They said it would be "upside-down," and in the GP world, that means it has an inversion or two. -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

^I bet it's a Pro-Slide Tornado or something for Soak City. "Clear, Wicked Twister is launching in 3... 2... 1... Rechecking all harnesses. Rechecking all harnesses." -
I loved that game! I use detailed walkthroughs, of course, but I love it either way! I've played MYST 2D once, I failed Riven once (than came back later and beat it in two hours), and I was working on MYST III: Exile for a while, but it got too complicated so I took a break. Riven is my favorite of the three.

Wow, Cedar Point is really doing an outstanding job on this. In the very last picture in the bottom right corner... Can anyone tell what it says at the bottom on the side of the train? It's the same style as the big "MAVERICK" on the front, but it ends with "ART." -

I hate to burst your bubble, but MICHIGAN's Adventure is not in Pennsylvania. Lol, he was talking about MIA, not DP, but you do have a good point. It would be unique to Michigan. But it's not like amusement parks ever exaggerate or anything. -
Oh God, can you imagine trying to survive that drop in G-Trains? I can hardly bear to think such a horrendous thought!

Best Coaster "Voice Over" or Sounds
steel replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When VF!'s version of Steel Venom first opened, the ride ops would say something like... "Alright folks, the snake is ready to bite. Steel Venom's gonna strike in 3...2...1...*launch*" That was a better time. I think Dragster's launch prep is really cool as well. "Keep your head back and your arms down... arms down... arms down... arms down... arms down... arms down. *revv... revv... revv...* *BAM*" -
Planning for Dorney
steel replied to IwantRevenge's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The only coasters you should skip are the powered kiddie and the height-restricted kiddie. The other kiddie was actually a lot of fun. I personally hated Talon, but I'm thinking I rode it on an off day. Steel Force is awesome, the best of the CF Morgans, IMO. Laser could have been a lot better. It's a good ride, but it's extremely rough. I loved Thunderhawk. You get tons and tons of ejector air. Ride near the front. Wild Mouse was boring. Hydra is a lot of fun in the back row. The Jo-jo roll is insane, but the rest of the ride is pretty mediocre. The front row was actually the roughest for me, whereas the back row was nice and forceful and very smooth. RIDE THE WHIP. You will never have more fun in your life. I also enjoyed Dominator, Meteor, and Screamin' Swing (it only costs five bucks and it's a nice thrill). I can't for the life of me remember what they were called, but they serve a heated food near Laser that's absolutely delicious. You'll find it. And Coasters is always nice. If I were you, I would hit the coasters like this: Talon, Wild Mouse, Hydra, Laser, Thunderhawk, Steel Force, Woodstock Express. -
