  1. ^ Thanks for the comments. You're right, I didn't think about that, but it might have TT or WW. Sorry.
  2. I never double post, but seriously, I really want feedback on this. Please comment.
  3. As ghetto as it is, they do have an awesome Mad Mouse and a Roll-O-Plane.
  4. Wow, I was wondering if they would ever do anything with the footers for that ride, lol.
  5. I've literally been working on this on and off for a year and a half. I started it about a month after Patriot was first announced. And I finally finished it up yesterday. Download, enjoy, and comment. Worlds of Fun.SV6 Worlds of Fun 2006
  6. OMG, this is amazing. XD!
  7. Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I've decided to finish all the parks I've started. Next up is my 2006 recreation of Worlds of Fun. I'm literally about a day and a half from finishing. All I need to do is finish adding trees (which will take longer than it did here, since WoF is very tree-heavy). Then I'm going to try to finish Six Flags South Dakota, which I started almost a year ago (it's home to another Superman: Escape; this one is a standup). I'm also going to attempt to finish my Glen Oaks Amusement Park saga that I started a few months ago. And I have another park in the works - Melling Park.
  8. ^The mountains are part of the scenario and I'm far too lazy to use the "own all land" trick to remove them. Well, I am officially finished with Six Flags Nebraska. As promised, V2 now fills up the space on the right side of the map. EDIT: There you go! Download to your heart's content. And please comment, as always. !!FUN FACTS!! -Sagittarius is a parking lot coaster. The remaining space is the employee lot. -Flashback was originally in the front of the park. It was moved back and replaced with Skyrocket. -I went through numerous ideas for the space at the right side of the map. These include an SLC, a wild mouse, an Intamin woodie, and an Intamin mini-hyper. -Sagittarius and Superman both tend to have their safety cut out mid launch (which, as you know stops the lift and, therefore, the launch) and roll back. Unfortunately for any guests who might be in line, you'll have to double-close it and reset. Have fun. There it is. The finished product. I'll probably upload it later today. Here you can see the whole area. Here's V2. I know the station is very simplistic, but I wanted a weird conformity on this ride. Daredevil Dive is *okay.* Every skycoaster I make in RCT2 always looks a little small to me, and this one is no different. Oh well. Flashback looks a lot nicer from this angle now. Here's the first new area. I couldn't find any good way to build a path to Hurricane, but I think it looks fine. Six Flags Nebraska.SV6 Here you go.
  9. ^Are you sure? Not even like across the street or anything? Oh well, I'm sure they could find some place to put it. I don't really have any screens yet, but I did end up putting a skycoaster (Daredevil Dive) on the left side with a shoot the chutes (Hurricane). Right now, I'm building a standard 180' one-twist impulse coaster on the other side (V2). EDIT: Oh yes, and there's a Flash Pass system for the following rides: -Batman: Dark Knight -Divebomber -Flashback -Hurricane -Ice Mountain Splash -Nebraska Twister -Sagittarius -Skyrocket -Superman: Escape -V2: Vertical Velocity -Viper -Wolverine Creek Here's the park before V2.
  10. I can never make enough money to survive. 8 Cars per Trainer is the best option, IMO. Don't take out a loan, it will come back to haunt you.
  11. Okay, so I woke up one morning and thought " I wonder what I could do with the default SF scenario, 8Cars, and SoB?" So I logged myself onto RCT2 and got to work. SFN is the result. Like I said, I'm basically done. I need to add one or two more rides between NE Twister and Gotham and put in a few more trees, but it won't take long. Okay, here's the story. Six Flags Nebraska is located in Omaha, Nebraska alongside the world-famous Henry Doorly Zoo. The park has six coasters. *Flashback - a standard Vekoma boomerang. Actually, it's a mirrored clone, but I'm pretty sure there's one like that in real life. *Sagittarius - a Premier spaghetti bowl clone. *Superman: Escape - an Intamin rocket (clone of Stealth). Yes, I know the name isn't technically an SF name, but they have the rights to Superman, so it works out. Just pretend the one in Australia doesn't exist. *Viper - a classic woodie. Consistantly the most popular ride in the park. *Roadrunner Express - you can guess. A clone of the kiddie coasters at GL, SFNE, and several other parks. *Batman: Dark Night - a small (a little over 100') B&M floorless coaster. This is my personal favorite. Along with these coasters are a gaggle of exciting rides. *Divebomber - a 2nd generation Intamin freefall. *Ice Mountain Spash - a log chute, same as always. *Nebraska Twister - a giant topspin. *Skyrocket - an 8-seat screamin' Swing (warning: awful capacity) *Wolverine Creek - easily the most photogenic ride in the park. A river rapids ride nestled inside Viper. You have to see it to understand. *Joker's Jinx - an inverting ride (think Meteor at Dorney) And a few upcharge attractions. *Roughrider Go-Karts - expect huge lines with this one (I had it up to 30 min. once, no joke). *Galactic Escape - ever been to Navy Pier? That motion simulator thing they have? Same basic idea. There are also a bunch of rides for families and kids, like the unique Journey to the Center of Earth, which transports you to an underground set of hallways (not a very popular ride, but it looks good). I used 8Cars... ...to make Skyrocket ...to make Superman work ...to make Sagittarius look good and work ...to get guests the way I wanted them (willing to ride everything, out of the park, in the park, happy, energetic, etc.) ...to get 5,000,000 bucks ...to make Wolverine Creek look better (and I will probably make fast staff when I'm done) And I used SoB to change Divebomber's stats to some that were more rideable (yes, No Entry signs have stopped working). Note - this park is relatively large, and guests do tend to demonstrate their stupidity by walking around in circles and complaining. Pay them no mind. Also, the park will be empty when I upload it. It's up to you to fill it up again. Use 8Cars or SoB if you wish. EDIT: Oh yes, please comment. I'm always open to suggestions. This is basically where I am now. The space on the left will probably be home to skycoaster and splashboats, while the space on the right might get an SLC or a wild mouse. I love this shot. Gotham City Eatery. There's a Papa John's and a Subway in there. There are three floors on which to eat, including outdoor patios on the first and third floors. Dark Knight and its station. Before you say the station isn't "Batmany," it's supposed to be a mansion, not a laboratory or anything. Viper's queue. That will usually be completely full, but I took this on an off day. Sagittarius' queue. I used 8Cars to make the launch and track more realistic. Divebomber. I wanted to make it seem like a big deal, so I did weird things with the paths. Superman cresting its tophat. Taken before Skyrocket This is one of my favorite views. Viper and Wolverine Creek. Taken before Sagittarius.
  12. Come on now, your state fair is simply not as bad as the IA State Fair (probably the most overblown idea on earth) and Mt. Olympus and Timber Falls certainly outdo Adventureland as far as coasters go. But I am fully aware that everyone has a legal right to hate the place in which they live, and that most make use of said right (unless they live in Iowa, where almost no one knows that the world continues beyond our border).
  13. That's awesome that you're getting the chance to do this. You must be really good... Personally, I didn't much like Mamma Mia. I can never really figure out why, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as Lion King or The Light in the Piazza or (obviously) Wicked.
  14. I like the way it's organized, but I'm a little unsure about the typeface. Even white on black instead of black on white text.
  15. "You have recieved an award for being 'The best value park in the country!'"
  16. Hmmm.... Something isn't right there. Those are definately B:TR's stats, lol. Obviously, there are a few kinks that need to be worked out.
  17. Even better... http://www.sixflags.com/overgeorgia/rides/Ninja.aspx The only difference at the top of the page is the name of the park, lol. It even says it has side-to-side swings! You'd think SFSL would be the same, but it doesn't even have a picture. EDIT: OMG! http://www.sixflags.com/stLouis/Rides/TheBoss.aspx Click video - you can move the slider across the whole page. It's fabulous!
  18. ^That's because it's red now. I seem to have missed a few photos. Don't know how that happened. Spring Break 07 Texas Trip 082.mpg And here's the promised video. Like I said, it isn't long or "important." Just some raw footage of the right side's train launching. This might be my favorite picture of the trip. Notice how I got both a Batman train and a Mr. Freeze train in. Even though I have the credit, I wish I could have ridden Texas Giant again. The shortest person with us rode Freeze with me, so this was a no-go.
  19. Huh. And here I was so sure that was Matterhorn...
  20. Alright, folks, here's the moment you've all been waiting for... See you later. BTW, I also have a short video that shows how Freeze's station works. I'll probably upload that later. Time to leave already. You have to admit, this is a completely awesome picture. Freeze has an awesome station. I wish other shuttle coasters would do something like this. It makes it more interesting to stand in line. Back to Gotham now. This is one of the advertised "10 new rides." At first I thought it was a kiddie ride, but I guess you have to be at least 48" to ride. Now I'm desperately trying to figure out what it does. You all knew it was coming... Titan... THROUGH THE TREE! I love this picture That helix hurts my brain. Titan's sign totally PWNS Goliath's sign. Judge Roy sucked, so I only took one picture of it. See? I honestly didn't even realize it until yesterday. I took this picture twice on this trip. Seriously, this thing is freaking insane. Finally time to ride Freeze. I still can't belive I got the train in this shot. Mini Mine Ride's station is basically a clone of Mine Ride's with half the queue space. Oil Derrick was closed due to high winds. This actually isn't a bad picture. The big ugly box building is a Spongebob Squarepants 4D ride. Wildcatter Nerd wheel. La Vibora was my first outdoor bobsled and my first bobsled without sucktastic theming. All the people up on the stage got free Flash Passes. I almost died. It's hard to see, but the season pass line basically goes on forever. WHOO! OMG sexy. I SEE SOMETHING! RED FREEZE! Yes, kids, this is an actual photo. I did not photoshop or alter it in any way. Mr. Freeze is definately RED. On to the rest of the pictures...
  21. Alright, here I go. We left town on Thursday and arrived in Kansas City three hours later to get our Maxx Pass forms in (the passes themselves should be arriving in the mail shortly). The employees there were great. They gave us a 2007 Patriot calendar with WoF times free of charge. Three more hours later, we arrived at our hotel in Wichita and collapsed for the night. Next morning, I spotted a brochure for Wild West World in the lobby, grabbed it, and convinced my parents into driving up to see it. Seriously guys, Wild West World IS Adventureland. Most of the pictures in the brochure are either simulations or pictures of rides at Adventureland. The entrance is even similar to that of Adventureland. Even more insane, Wichita is like Kansas' answer to Des Moines. It's scary. Also, the brochure says it's Kansas' number one attraction, but it doesn't seem to open until May 5th... In a few hours, we got to the outskirts of Oklahoma City, and, of course, the entrance to Frontier City. The staff there was not nearly as awesome as the staff at WoF. They didn't know what a season brochure was. So I snapped a few photos and we finished our drive to Arlington, Texas, home of my aunt, her two kids, and (more importantly) Six Flags Over Texas. More to come. ---------------- Okay, let's finish up. We got to the park at about 9:50 on Saturday, terrified at the prospect of the season pass processing line. Thankfully, the woman at PR told us that Outer Market passholders need not wait in the (absolutely huge) line and that we were to go straight to processing to get our pictures taken. Amazingly, it took all of five minutes. Thank God for Outer Market Season Passes. CF should do this. After a quick bathroom break, we headed to the already lengthy line for La Vibora. The queue ended up being about fifteen minutes. Not too bad, especially since the ride really surprised me. Maybe it was just because it was my first coaster of the season, or maybe it's actually a nice little ride, but I really enjoyed it. I'd give it a 6.5/10. We noticed in our season pass discount booklet that we had coupons for $18 rides on Dive Bomber Alley (the skycoaster) for two or more flyers before 1:00. We decided to get it out of the way as soon as possible. Wildcatter, SFOT's Intamin 1st Gen, was on the way. I finally tried that old "penny-on-the knee" trick on this one and it was really cool. I prefer the view on Demon Drop, but it's a great ride. 7.5/10. My dad and I got suited up for Dive Bomber Alley while my older cousin and her dad got in line for S:ToP and my younger cousin watched us ride. This skycoaster is fun, of course, just like the others, but I never like the double-tower models as much as the singles. Also, our coupon forbade single riders, so I had to go with another person, which is also not as much fun. I'd say it's about an 8/10. Next, we headed over to Mine Ride and Mini Mine Ride. Mine Ride was great. It's perfect for families. I can't wait to see a little KidTums on this one. *wink wink* 6/10 for that one. Mini Mine Ride is definately a kiddie ride, but it offers awesome views of Mr. Freeze, so I'll give it a generous 5.5/10. I knew I wanted something a little higher end for my 120th coaster, so we decided to hit Mr. Freeze, the coolest, and now REDDEST, coaster on the planet. I cannot get over how bright they painted this ride. It makes no sense. There is no change in theme whatsoever. The track in the tunnel and station is still light blue. It looks nice if you don't know the theme, but other than that, it's just... red. On the other hand, the coaster is outstanding. It was my first Freeze, my first Premier, and my first non-inverted LIM, and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. This is probably a top ten ride, if not top five, for me. It's a must ride and, IMO, the best in the park. The wait goes slow, but it's worth every second. Definately a 10/10, even if it is red. It was time for lunch, so we decided to come back to B:TR (which we didn't end up doing). On the way to the corn dog place, we rode Judge Roy Scream, which was incredibly tame and not really worth the small wait. 5.5/10. Lunch was delicious. I had a footlong corn dog with curly fries. Needless to say, it was a highlight of the day. FINALLY, we walked back to Titan, the close second-best ride in the park. Surprisingly, the line was only about a half hour long, as opposed to the hour plus wait for Freeze. I rode this back when it first opened, but I barely remember it and I needed a refresher. Unfortunately, I got on with a bit of a headache, which was worsened a little by the tremendous positive g's. Other than that, though, it's a fantastic ride. I would reccomend sitting on the left side, purely for the moment after the MCBR which dumps you slowly sideways high above the ground. It's *almost* frightening. For the first time in a long, long, long time, I'm glad the MCBR slowed the train down so much. Any faster and I would have blacked out during that final helix. Crazy things. 9.5/10. We found we simply *had* to take a short Ben & Jerry's break after this one. After that, we basically had time for only one more ride before leaving. Of course, I decided to pass up the Boomerang and B:TR credits to ride Mr. Freeze one more time. This time, we waited for the front, and it made all the difference. It's even better than I thought it was possible for it to be in the front. Let me make this perfectly clear: WAIT FOR THE FRONT ROW. It doesn't take that long and you get to watch more trains launch (chinkchinkchinkchinkchinkchinkchinkchink......BAM). Absolutely wait for the front. 11/10. And then, too soon, it was time to leave. This was a great kick-start to the season. So, in review... I rode: La Vibora (credit) 1x Wildcatter (not a credit) 1x Dive Bomber Alley (not a credit) 1x Mine Ride (credit) 1x Mini Mine Ride (credit) 1x Mr. Freeze (credit) 2x Titan (no credit, ridden before) 1x I did not ride: Shock Wave (closed) Batman: The Ride (not worth the wait) kiddie coaster (couldn't find a kid to steal) Flashback (it's a Boomerang, not worth the wait) Texas Giant (ridden before, no time) From the gas station across the street. This isn't a picture of their skycoaster, though. It's actually a roller coaster... They were actually testing their skycoaster as we drove up. I was going to crop this photo... HAH! Not for long! And here we are at Frontier City. Raise your hand if you think this park will survive for ten more years. You can barely see it, but there's a Crazy Mouse back there. This is the part that really struck me. Adventureland has this EXACT bridge leading from the parking lot to the entrance. If I had a picture, I would show you, but I don't, so you'll just have to take my word for it. The extremely generic entrance to the park. Signage. The theming actually looks pretty good from the parking lot. They seem to be nearing completion. There she be! Patriot (a better sight for sore eyes) Mamba (a sight for sore eyes)
  22. Well, I was at SFOT today, and let me tell you - Mr. Freeze looks WEIRD. It's a bright, vibrant red. As I said, I also have pictures of Wild West World, which is creepily similar to Adventureland, along with pictures of Worlds of Fun and Frontier City. Just wanted to let you know that I'll have a better description up along with pictures around Monday or Tuesday.

  24. That is not NEARLY as life-changing as the Llama Song. But, yeah, it should most certainly be stickified.
  25. ^Big deal, I've been the only one in my family who can't vote since I was born. Better Vilsack than Clinton. He dropped out, anyway.
