  1. I got a nail that was supposed to go into Hades at Mt. Olympus. http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/2306/nail9xo.png
  2. Adventureland Iowa please. The last real coaster was in the early 90's. I think it's time.
  3. Yeah, Patriot is a LONG way from being forceless. It also has one of the best zero-g rolls ever created. Sounds like you had a great time. It's amazing that you waited 40 minutes for Patriot. I never waited more than 15 on opening day.
  4. As far as elements go, yeah, S:UF's pretzel loop is #1. Now you're all going to laugh at me, but... Patriot is the most intense B&M in my opinion. Totally serious on this one. It is a twisted mass of unknown forces. I really like the loop and the curve after the loop. You get airtime, then you slam down into your seat and experience extremely intense positives. I think it's the only coaster I've been on with airtime in all but one of its inversions. And the other one is big on the positives.
  5. Wood - Hades drop out of the station - Hades first drop - Cyclops super-air drop - Zeus ejector drops Steel Traditional - Millennium Force first drop - Any Morgan hyper first drop, back seat, looking backwards. 'Tis insane. - Top Thrill Dragster Steel Inverted/Suspended - Patriot first drop - Patriot coming out of the loop, back seat Drop Ride - Giant Drop (SFGAm) - Drop Zone (Como Town - don't ask me why this is so awesome. It just is.) - Demon Drop
  6. 1.) Patriot at Worlds of Fun 2.) Raptor at Cedar Point 3.) Great Bear at Hersheypark 4.) Batman: The Ride at SFGAm 5.) ?
  7. Wild Thing at Valleyfair! - it was my first big coaster. I was terrified. Even better, it was before they performed the ritual slamming of the MCBR every lap. Also, not a coaster, but RipCord at Worlds of Fun. When I was younger, we would pass VF!'s RipCord and my mom would say "If you ever ride one of those, you will need to get a new mother." Naturally, I wanted to ride more than ever after that, but I always got really freaked out and backed off. Finally, last June, I built up the courage and signed up. It was well worth it. I'm hooked.
  8. I too was at WoF yesterday. You must've been in line near me because my gate attendant couldn't swipe to save her life either.
  9. On Raptor at CP: we crested the lift, started the drop, and the guy next to me started singing "Freefallin'" in his high voice. He continued until the final brake run. That was pretty awesome. Here's a good one. On Dragon at Adventureland: it began to rain as we got to the top of the lift. They close the ride down when it's raining, so we were lucky to be on it. The guy behind me said to the girl next to him "You know that a friend of mine rode this while it was raining once and he fell out?" She started the whole "OMG! YOU BI**H! OMFFG! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! OMG!" and didn't let up until the last helix. It was great.
  10. Hades, no questions asked. Both times through it's all twisted. You can't see, you can barely breathe (sort of like TTD's launch) and it's totally out of control. Second would be Ripsaw at The Park at MOA. It's navigated slowly, but it's got great scenery.
  11. Hey, I'm steel. If you're on Coaster Fanatics, Coaster-NET, Coaster Cravers, or ThrillNetwork, you probably already know me. I've been putting off joining this site for a while now, so it's nice to have that weight off my shoulders. I've been riding coasters since about 1994 (I was two), when I rode a kiddie coaster at the South Dakota State Fair. Uh, my favorite coaster is MF @ Cedar Point, my favorite woodie is Avalanche @ Timber Falls, closely followed by Lightening Racer @ Hersheypark and Hades @ Mt. Olympus. I'm going to opening day at WoF two weeks from yesterday, so I'm pretty pumped up for that. I'm 14. I'm in 8th grade. And that's about it...
  12. Gotta go with Millennium. 1. Millennium Force (go figure) 2.) Magnum XL-200 3.) Raptor 4.) Top Thrill Dragster 5.) Wicked Twister
