^Leave. I'm going to crucify you for that. Digimon was obviously a ripoff of Pokemon. Pokemon was supercool... until the passed 251. You might say it jumped the Sharpedo.

CF Maxx Pass Observation...
steel replied to GoldRusheROCKS's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I got my Maxx Pass for $74 at WoF with my 06 passport holder discount. WoF is usually your best bet for a great price. VF! has been known to be good, too. You wouldn't expect it, but MIA is actually more expensive than both those two. -
The first two shootings happened on the other side of campus. That building was completely locked down. There isn't even proof that the shooters were the same person in both occurences. This was not at all the school's fault. They did everything in their power to keep their students safe. There was no way they could have predicted the second shootings. My condolences to all those who lost friends and family this morning.

http://www.rcdb.com/ig2955.htm?picture=34 You can sort of see the concrete there. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3660.htm?picture=1 And you can definately see it here. It's GCI's new thing. -
Melling Park (RCT2)

Okay, time for another update. Introducing Cutlass, a twisted GCI woodie. I'm really proud of this ride. I think it looks awesome. I'm excited to see how it looks when the park is finished. On a side note, I've added a catered area near Wrangler and have completely remodeled Midway Munchies (near Capricorn). I'll let the pictures do the talking. -

@smartestcoasterkidever! - Not even almost. It's exactly the same. All it is is a Jo-jo roll, though. No big deal. @thrillrideseeker - Thanks. I really like the way that ride turned out. @jsahockey09 - First of all, it isn't in a very tree-heavy area, so there won't be all that many trees. Enough, but not that many. Second, that area is not a water park. That's just the part of the park with most of the water rides (a la Hershey) - guests can wear their swimsuits there. Thanks for your comments. -

Okay, I finally got around to taking some screens. Note - I am aware that this park is lacking buildings. I'm working on it. And please comment, as with every other thread. Wrangler Aquamania, Cannonball (I know, I don't like it much either, but it's about the best that can be done) From left: Aquamania, Swimming Beach, Tsunami Grizzly Canyon Capricorn -
ZOMGZ! They were running Shock Wave?! I keep missing that ride!

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Advice!
steel replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here's an outside question. I'll be at CoasterCon this June and I'm wondering two things. First, when would be the best day to visit SFKK? Mapquest says it's a shorter drive from HW to SFKK than from Beech Bend to SFKK. We have two full days at HW, but I don't really want to miss either. We only have one day at Beech Bend, but I don't know if we'll be able to fill it up at just that park. Second, is SFKK doable in three hours? It would be great to get there, credit whore, and leave just like that. So I guess I can sum all this up into one question: Should I sacrifice half of my two days at HW or half of my one day at BB? -

Oh, please, PaMoA is already the loudest place in the upper midwest. An S&S tower would actually be quiet compared to everything else. -

You don't get to not like a park for no reason. That's against the rules. I'm glad I didn't go, lol, that would not have been fun. -

Of course, you mean other than than Power Tower, Corkscrew, Steel Venom, Thunderhawk, and Dominator? And Sticky Nicky is right, MOA hasn't been owned by CF for years. -
Okay, kids, this is the fabled "new project" that I was so excited about. Melling Park is located on Lake Melling in the wonderful and exciting land of... ... Indianapolis. At the moment I can tell you this much - I won't be building chronologically, like many other parks here. I have the park planned and will simply be building in order of convenience. Thus far I've built... -XLR8R - Intamin impulse (tell me if you have a better name) -Town Square Theatre -Capricorn - Vekoma SLC -Firebolt - Zamperla Hawk -Scrambler -Cannonball - S&S Screamin' Swing -Space Tower - Observation Tower -Carousel -Aquamania - Water Ski Show -Swimming Beach -Grizzly Canyon - River Rapids Ride -Tsunami - Shoot the Chutes Ride -Wakiya Falls - Log Chute -Grand Prix - Go-Karts -Challenge Golf -Daredevil - (I think that's what it's called, lol) S&S Double Turbo Drop. -Wrangler - B&M Floorless -Marquee Theatre -Skyride - takes you across the lake But you don't get to see any of that yet, mostly because I've yet to screen them. You do get a preview, though. Entrance Plaza and parking lot

Goliath at SFMM Deemed 'Unsafe'
steel replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They blacked out after the ride? OMG, let's all sue. God, I hate this kind of report. It scares people. The wrong way. ASO is idiotic. They use it as a source, yet it has no credentials whatsoever. It's like using a Wikipedia page as a reference in your dissertation. It just doesn't work. And the peeps who blacked out? So what? No one gives a sh!t. People grey out on intense rides. It happens. I can guarantee that more 18 people have greyed or blacked out on Goliath and even more have done so on Titan. If they thought Goliath was too much, I'd like to see these "18" brave Dragon at Adventureland in the back row. Like the rest of you, I do agree that using a cell phone at a public workplace is completely unacceptable. If there's an emergency, at least one involved person should have enough mental capacity to call Park Ops or PR or something and have them contact the employee in question. I did find immense pleasure in the fact that the last 30 seconds of the FOX report were spent goofing off in front of LA. -

...Which is...? I can't seem to find it. EDIT: I just remembered, I used two Amazing Earl rides - Swinger to make Fjord Fjarlane and Spinning Cups to make Cyclone Sam's. -

I live in Urbandale, Iowa (about ten minutes from downtown Des Moines). DarkStitch626 - It's interesting that you say that, because the only reason I actually have any Amazing Earl rides is because they went directly to my folders when I downloaded parks. I was never able to download the rides themselves. I really have no idea why this isn't working. Just out of curiousity, has this actually worked for anyone yet? -

^Don't hurt yourself. This is an estimation. It's just for fun and it's close enough. If you want to get more technical about it, please go ahead, but there isn't any reason to get angry. -

^Did you even read my post? I said very clearly that I'm GLAD I kept TT and WW on my computer. Also, why would I put a coaster in a 2006 park if it didn't exist in 2006? I don't know why this always happens when I upload parks. There's probably a little custom scenery, but other than the expansion pack stuff, it should just go straight to your files... -

Actually, I had Orient stuck in there until just before I uploaded it, just to show that all three coasters (Patriet, Orient, Dragons) could technically fit together. I don't know why it isn't working. I know for a fact there's some Wacky Worlds scenery, but I don't know anything about Time Twister scenery, so it should work with WW. There was a reason I kept WW and TT on my computer. I knew I wasn't crazy at the time. If you still have it, why not re-install it? It isn't that big a waste of time. -

Also, you have to realize that the train is going really, really fast even at the very beginning of the launch. Therefore, it would follow that you need a bunch of space to get it even faster in such a small period of time. -

I'm not going to lie and say it's amazing, but for a beginner to serious park-building, this really isn't all that bad. You desperately need to work on your buildings. There's a website that will help immensly. I don't have the link right now but I'll get it to you soon. Also, try not to use any premade designs unless it's a flat-out clone.
