  1. That's not really an "although" point, it shows that they are the ones to beat that everyone is trying to imitate.
  2. Fantastic argument there, not flawed at all.
  3. I'm a novice boarder, I'm note sure I'll ever become proficient as I don't go very often but I have fun
  4. Love the star on Blue Fire, great picture
  5. Did they have this in Florida? I've never seen them before, love it!!
  6. I would add something to the random half mile of straight track on Shockwave at Drayton Manor
  7. It's so annoying to see all of this. The documentary is a one sided account and people feel they have been given a balanced view of the situation. Someone who really card about the subject would research the other side of the story. Hopefully they can get other acts who aren't so prone to knee-jerk reactions to perform instead.

How do I keep seeing this every couple of years?!? Too. Much. Manboob!
  9. I've got all my theme park ornaments from Club TPR, I just need to get a tree now!!
  10. I would probably say Kumba, I just don't buy into the whole floater air thing. I "like" all of the big B&Ms that sprawl out over acres of land but I don't "love" any of them.
  11. Burritos for me, I like burgers (and am on a Five Guys fix right now, I'm sure it'll die down eventually) but the slow cooked burrito fillings are awesome. We're also getting more burrito places in the UK so they're becoming more accessible as well
  12. I've been binging on the offspring for some reason lately! All I want has been on a fair bit, probably because I loved Crazy Taxi and the song reminds me of the game
  13. What a great project, I'm clearly a terrible fanboy as I didn't even know he was an Illinois native! It would be great to see a proper period restoration of this place
  14. Wow, that development looks insane! Hopefully it'll be a really good boost for the area. This mystery ride looks pretty cool as well, if it's a splash battle that's a good scale to do one on!
  15. Nice concept, hopefully the par will live up to the intricate looking illustrations! Is there a predicted project cost?
  16. I don't like the instant you go to free fall, so the start of drop towers and sky coasters are my most "brown pants" moments! I guess that's why I enjoy them so much, you get a kick out of it!
  17. Nice update Matt! Thanks for sharing
  18. A dark ride on the Spiderman/Darkastle system would be really cool. Again it comes down to demand being there for the ride, the show certainly has extreme fans but maybe not so many casual fans as some of the other franchises picked up by parks. Then again we have a ride themed to the Saw franchise in the UK so I guess any tie in is possible!
  19. I'm looking forward to the unique ride experience here, also intrigued about how they're going to block it (or just have a lower capacity). They said groundbreaking ext year so I assume we're looking at a 2015 opening? Maybe even later as it's a huge structure.
  20. The trains look great, very surprised by the height restriction though. Legoland are all about family experiences and tailoring to a younger audience so this seems odd.
  21. Wow, a big investment for a great park! I can't wait to visit this park in a couple of years and see they amazing theming that we know they're capable of!
  22. I'm watching the live stream of the RCCL event right now. I know it was pretty much confirmed before but it looks like we're getting Anthem out of the UK. Slightly odd presentation so far, they've got the philharmonic playing various "Anthems" to video of British cities and RCCL destinations. Hopefully we get some info outside of the realm of stuff already out there about the Quantum class!!
  23. Great report Robb, I love the format. Hearing the opinion on Hard Rock from some of the coma pines that sold to it was interesting, loved the little tidbits about the Alton woodie too! Thanks
  24. This looks like a great couple of days! I remember going to the space centre on a family holiday and really enjoyed it. Its nice to see they get the "geek factor" and put these kinds of events on
  25. Wow, what a kick off to IAAPA! Great coverage too, thanks!
