Could this be considered the first ride the new management is building? If so I think the process with which these are built could provide a better outlook on how they will do.

OH MY GOD!! This looks amazing, I can imagine the 3 seats on the side will be incredible, since you basically are hanging over the track, they mightaswell call these wingwalkers. However that wouldnt be politically correct, so we'll just call it Kick-ass Floorless Dive Machines. Man, this is combining the best of both worlds here, I've been on a floorless coaster, and even in the 2 middle seats, its still a rush being able to see the track beneath your feet; and when you throw in 90* drops, there isnt anything beneath your feet Hey Robb, since we are taking a Mid-America trip next summer, would it be at all possible to potentially plan-out an East Coast trip sometime aswell? Because between the 100 years of Hershey, this, and the already world-class parks that dot the coast, I dont think it would be a bad idea to set something up, I'd definately go if anything becomes solid. Just my 2 cents

Sounds like y'all had fun. Lightning Racer is my favorite ride in the park, when I went there I got to ride it 8 times because I could always find an open airgate the line was so empty! Haha, there was a rollback on RECC, that amuses me so... Nice TR

I dont think that BGE palnned to have the coaster unveiled right at the stroke of 1:00am on August 3rd. Theres probably gonna be a press release sometime today, then everyone invited is going to get on their computers and inform the world. I honestly dont expect to know anything until this evening. But hey, I could be wrong

Well if they are moving so fast because they want to get theming done wouldnt we have seen a few rebar cages or something by now? Or more concrete walls like whats happening @ Dollywood? I honestly dont think that themeing will play a very intense role in this rides construction. There hasnt really been any signs to prove otherwise, and they usually do theming at a slightly slower pace than construction. What I'm seeing here is no theming work, and just pure trackwork being done. If I see some hardcore evidence that theming is being built around the ride construction area, I'll be bought over.

Always?? You know I dont see much in the ways of theming over by Raptor, or Mantis...or Magnum...Actually I think theming is a little less of a priority than you give credit for. I bet the main reason they're moving along so fast is to beat that Lake Erie winter, because the Great Lakes basically are an open window for all that winter wind from Canada to blow right over. I imagine it would be a nightmare to try and construct in the winter. Did they build in winter for TTD?

the origin of the V-supports has been discovered! So...does anyone still think this is a dueler? I can say one thing, I definately think the probability factor of it being an Aquatrax has been slashed, but I cant say for sure

Cool, my first roasting on a forum... Actually I did read the whole topic, but that was about 3-4 weeks ago, and I dont believe that I should intensly keep up with my knowledge of the topic. Also, when I wrote the previous post it was about 6:00 in the morning; and as you can imagine at that hour, I was not entirely functioning well. And you ask why would I think I couldnt do it? Well I thought this trip was like strictly roller coasters and such, and that we'd overlook the waterpark portion of most parks. Apparently I thought wrong.. Lets see, what else am I forgetting......Oh yea. I'm sorry, I'll never do it again, please dont rain molotov cocktails down on my house.

Well I'm probably only going to be able to make the Mid-West trip, just because that would be a treat enough for me if i could go. I just have 1 question regarding the park trip. I know alot of the parks selcted on our list of places to go have waterparks (SFGAm, HW &SS, Mt. O, CP, I'm sure I'm forgetting others), will we be visiting those as well? Because I think that the one @ SFGAm looks amazing.. --Tex

Is anyone else thinking this may be just a downscaled EGF or Goliath? I dunno, just had a brainwave I guess...Intamins known for making Airtime machines, and maybe this ride is another reason they hold that title.

Also, the different cars swing. So if it stopped and some people were uptop left hanging, their cars would just swing down and theyd be right-side up again. I've been on one and honestly they arent that bad, just lean back and take up as much space as possible

First off, welcome to TPR. Now the more I think about it, the more I think that a wingwalker might actually be possible. Because Cedar Point has always been known for braking speed/height/length records, but theyre never had any really groundbreaking coaster types (atleast not in awhile anyways). So maybe they are going in a whole new direction as far as branching out from normal coasters that break records, and instead just new-age coaster designs that stay inbounds of everything else. And also, look how high above the ground those turns are, probably to leave enough room for the train to keep from plastering riders on the ground. Like I said, it probably will comedown to the train-type used

just remember that they wouldnt even think of opening the ride unless they were 100% certain that those chains wouldnt snap. also, they're probably titanium reinforced for our heavier friends of the world. there really isnt anything to worry about i dont think, just have fun
