God places in the east look so beautiful in Fall. And Mystery Mine looks yummier by the day! I wonder if TPR is doing a meet-up type thing for the opening of it. If so, somebody call me and spill the details because I want in! Nice TR too, I liked all the special lift-hill shots you got, good job!

^^ I dont know whether to laugh or be concerned...I think I'll just laugh. I remember one time for a family reunion we went to disney land and since we had a large party the ride-op let us fit 13 people in the boat (one row had all the kids, ages 6-9, myself included) and we didnt sink it! It leaned toward the back where all the fat adults were, but we still impressed everyone there. Did y'all get 35 bags of raisins like Wes did? I still laugh @ the fact that they gave out RAISINS for halloween. Atleast go up a notch and make them raisinets for the sugar crazy ones. Oh, and... I think Chuck, Cameron, and Leanne are the only normal looking people in this photo, maybe because they dont know of the insane abuse of knives going on behind them!

My home park is Hersheypark, and I gotta say, as awesome as Stormrunner is, its like a shot of hard vodka: Really powerful, but just too short. So I gotta say Lightning Racer is my favorite; Its got all the right moves, and I just love woodies. they have loooots of the 3 things i like: Gs drops that seem alot steeper than they are

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

^^I think that'll be one of the last things. Because they need to line up each LSM segment PERFECTLY, like within a nanometer. otherwise the magnetic fields will be thrown off and it wont do its job. Of course this is all assuming I know what im talking about, haha. I do think it'll be awhile before they do because the whole manager of construction type person said that the LSMs would be a difficult process to go through, and that it would take perfect precision to line them up. -
Quick question.

Woohoo! It's good to hear this park is on the other end of the equation from all the Six Flags parks that are stuggling to keep afloat. I really like that this park is expanding so much. I like that it's still keeping the family feel and its going in the right direction for the amusement industry. Holiday World is sure to set an example for the rest of the parks around the world. -
Liseberg Discussion Thread

well, looks like another reason for R&E to goto liseberg again next year! I was wondering when this park would get a new little toy. It looks like it'll be a new type of screamin swing that doesnt have floors for the seats, instead it'll be more like an inverted coaster. On all the previous ones there were platforms for peoples feet. -Tex -

^Well I'm sorry I scare the poo outta people who talk about growable and retractable penises, I'm just saying I think it would be both cool and funny to see someone committed enough to travel to sleep in a duffle bag. There wasnt supposed to be some sort of bizarre fetish backdrop if thats what y'all were afraid of...I'm not like that -

I've always wanted to see someone sleep in a duffle bag and not say it totally sucked after 5 minutes. Maybe I was a bit over the top, lemme try again: It would be badass to see Lou sleep, travel, and for the most part live in a duffle bag! -

Aww, poor lou. Its not her fault she used to do high class british porn! By the way, Lou, although some men pay 50$ to sit next to you on a ride, I'll pay 50$ to see you sleep in a duffle bag for one full night, I've always wanted to see someone do that. -

Nuclear Disaster & Americas potential downfall
TexTitan01 replied to TexTitan01's topic in Random, Random, Random
Create a thread about it. well think about it, do you realy think it would be easy to have internet access in the event of a nuclear blast? probably all power would go out, and fallout would cause you to flee to the nearest shelter (or strip club, if you wanna do what wes would). Of course, maybe Joe is one of the few who's already been exposed to radiation, because I cant think of any other people who have quad-boobs -
Mod Edit: Added the correct choice to the poll So, I just watched the series premiere of Jericho. And it really got me thinking. If world relations took a turn for the worse, and decided to unload their nuclear arsenal on us, what would really happen in the event of a nuclear attack? Better yet, what would you do? Because if you really think about it, no one would know what to instinctivly do, and there would be widespread chaos throughout the nation. Riots, panic, just pure undeniable chaos. This really could probably be considered the downfall of the next great empire in history. First the Roman Empire collapsed in 200A.D, then the Spanish Empire got done away with in 1588 after the defeat of their navy, the English Empire kind of fell apart in the 1920-30s because of the World Wars, now, potentially, the American Empire (IMO thats really what we have going), could be eliminated in a series of nuclear attacks by terrorist groups; and then kids 100-200 years in the future, would read about the happenings that caused our downfall in their history books. Now I know, Empire is kind of a strong word to use, but think about it: we are the most powerful nation the world has ever seen, we have military outposts in most of the world, we have "conquered" most other nations in the world, and American Influence is everywhere. IMHO, we may not say it now, but if you ask someone in the next couple centuries, they'll talk about the American Empire rather than just USA. Wow, I went from Nuclear attack, to the downfall of America. Man what a ramble, -Tex

They already got the stengel up? Sheesh this is really truckin along...They'll probably have the rest of the layout up to the station finished before my homecoming (oct. 6). That heartline looks like it will be quite forceful, I bet it will feel amazing This ride looks like it will have it all. Airtime, inversions, launches, crazy drops, and sidewinding; the people at Intamin have really put some thought into this My hats off to you, Intamin Gods!
