[jeff moment] It's kind of ridiculous to think that some of the people posting in this thread were in elementary school when that site was in its heyday. [/jeff moment]
^If there is one thing I can say about fireworks (besides the fact that blowing up stuff is still awesome), it is that they should always be used properly. California has sh*tty fireworks laws because there is tons of brush and tons of idiots in CA.
What a douche. I'm sorry, regardless of what the guy did as a wrestler...killing your wife and son and then yourself (most likely because the guilt set in and he didn't want to face the law/his fans/etc. for his actions) is not cool.
Again...there's a difference between a joke and an actual flame. I don't think anyone who used racial slurs to "flame" someone would stick around here for very long.
^Exactly. Just because it will stay the same building doesn't mean the ride system will remain the same. For all we know, they are taking the existing motion bases and modifying them to do something that they didn't do before, making it a completely different ride experience.
Is it likely to expect the same experience? Sure. But do we know for sure at this point? Not really.
The nemo mobile thing with a traveling turtle talk with Crush and the seagull animatronics. And radio ads. And all the media events (one to christen the subs, media previews before the ride opened, the opening ceremony). Plus they hosted the travel industry trade party thing earlier...think Nemo was mentioned at all during that?
I don't even think the huge 50th campaign got all that.
Add all that up and you have Disney's most aggresive marketing campaign for a ride since....I don't even know. Maybe Indy?
^Not only did he same the same ride system, but he went on to say that "they are just overlaying most of the building with new colors and themeing to match the Simpsons."
Not sure how we could have misunderstood, nor am I sure how he got inside information that no one else has. Especially given that he doesn't have a friend in Hebrew school whose dad works for Universal Creative.
Right now all we know for sure is that the rides are closing to become the Simpsons.
