  1. I had a brutal weekend for eating because I ate like crap. My CPA grind is going to be limiting my exercise opportunities the next two months now so I will be mostly trying to minimize calories in until June 8th when I take what is hopefully my final CPA exam. Gonna try and eat 2,000 calories or less a day and stop eating after 7pm each day. The only exercise I will be getting will be walking Booker.
  2. ^Yeah one time I went to Dollywood with some friends and they couldn't believe how much I wanted to keep riding Thunderhead. I wanted to ride Wild Eagle a few more times but my friend did not want to ride it more than the 3 times we got on it because it was "giving him a headache" it was Wild Eagle!
  3. I mean I'm excited for Kennywood because it's Kennywood. I usually set my expectations of a park to be that park not somewhere else. I'm looking forward to the classic flat rides, old time feel, older wooden coasters, and not walking 4 miles from coaster to coaster.
  4. I remember as a kid always seeing the travel channel talk about Kennywood so it's definitely been a bucketlist park for me for a long time. I love the vintage classic atmosphere it seems to have. I also didn't realize how much some enthusiasts sing the praises of Phantom's Revenge like they do. Also there's an S&S Screaming Swing (my favorite flat currently) and a Zamperla Giant Discovery which I am very eager to try.
  5. It's kinda wild to me that about 12 years ago I was at KD thinking "man this park could use a few star coasters other than Volcano" then they proceeded to add Dominator, Intimidator 305, and now Twisted Timbers.
  6. ^wow that sounds like my odds are good then especially if I can drop this extra 15 to get out of 300 by the time I go. Kennywood seems to be one of the friendliest parks to larger riders out there.
  7. So sorry for another question by me about whether rides are accomodating or not....BUT since I have a friend that lives in Pittsburgh and I'd like to capitalize on Kennywoods presence there and I have never been before heres another post asking about accomidating rides by me! I've done a little bit of research and it sounds like I will probably be good for all the coasters and if Sky Rockets lap bars are in the same level of strictness as Tempesto I should be good for that as I got on Tempesto no problem (as in the lap bar said yes, physically getting onto Tempesto was terrible). I am 6'3 313 pounds (hopefully I'll get under 300 by the time I go up there but that's no guarantee my body has been resistant to weight loss the last few months), waitline is around 47", chest 50" What I am now concerned about is the flats particularly Black Widow, Swing Shot, and Aero 360. I would LOVE to ride a Zamperla Giant Discovery but I can't seem to find much on whether they are accomodating for larger riders anywhere.
  8. I have yet to ride TT but best ride in the park will always be subjective opinion. I think once I have ridden I’ll probably still prefer I305 just due to the raw intensity. It’s my favorite steel coaster overall I don’t know what will surpass it for me. El Toro is the only roller coaster I’d rather ride than Intimidator 305.
  9. I really love the blue track on this one. Really wonder why Cedar Fair went with "brownish red" for both of their RMCs. I guess it makes sense for the theme of those.
  10. And you're still alive?! I don't think my body could handle 10 times on i305. I went for a 2 hour marathon on I305 of 10 times. Would of went more too but I needed to take advantage of my meal plan before the park closed. Granted the next day I was completely useless all day.
  11. That about sums up all Facebook comments sections in general. I couldn't believe the amount of complaining I saw for both Kings Dominion and Carowinds when TT and Fury 325 were announced. The KD people were calling TT a "rehashed Hurler" and going on about how they want a "NEW coaster." I saw one lady on Carowinds say "another huge coaster that parents can't ride with their little kids! SHAME ON YOU CAROWINDS!" I've never really perused Dollywoods Facebook comments imagine they're similar levels of terrible. Social media just confirms to me how terrible most humans can be when they use their voice.
  12. Kings Dominion Busch Gardens Williamsburg Both relatively frequently. Looking into trips to: Kennywood Hersheypark Knoebels Carowinds MAYBE Six Flags Great Adventure Six Flags America
  13. So interesting question. I heard on another forum that InvadRs test seat is really wonky and some people who can't have its light shine green ever can usually get on the coaster itself no problem. Wondering if anybody here has had this happen with them as well? I was amazed I could not ride InvadR according to the test seat when I was there last week.
  14. My local bucket list right now is nuts for parks that I need to return to. Twisted Timbers, Skyrush, Fury 325, Lightning Rod, Maverick, SteVen, Gatekeeper, Valravn, and Iron Rattler. Skyrush just looks bananas and given my strong love for I305 I'm sure i will love Skyrush.
  15. Last time I went to Hershey was 2010 and I need to get back so bad for some Skyrush action as I'm sure it's gonna end up in my top 5 if not that top 10. I love the everlasting sh*t out of Storm Runner. That part where you go up a hill then directly into a heartline roll is one of my favorite elements on any roller coaster. It's wild to go up a hill like that, get airtime and then subsequently start spinning around the track. Absolutely insane. Lightning Racer is the coaster that really started my coaster enthusiasm and still certainly holds up for me today. Oh and Fahrenheit and Great Bear are fun.
  16. I don't believe I have ever ridden Alpengeist in the back. I would love to experience that.
  17. I have only seen I305 with a lengthy line on Saturdays in October.
  18. I've paid virtually minimal attention to this ride this off season solely because of Twisted Timbers being 40 minutes from my apartment. It looks absolutely phenomenal. Pretty sure if I was at Cedar Point I would be spending a fair bit of time in the back between this and Maverick.
  19. I can definitely say I prefer dive loops to immelmans. I wish Virginia had a good dive loop but I can settle for the second half of cobra rolls.
  20. The locker filter causing that phrase to appear all over a forum is one of those little things that makes my day better.
  21. Excellent report Boldikus. Your reports are always so entertaining and congrats on the particularly restrictive coasters being less restrictive! I also find the national anthem cedar fair practice to be odd. I first encountered it at Cedar Point in 2005 which I already knew about it but was in middle school and gave absolutely no f*cks about it but as a grown adult I just think it's weird to do at the opening of an amusement park. Sports games sure it somewhat makes sense there but at the opening of Kings Dominion I just want to go ride coasters. Imagine if at work everyday you open your office or store or whatever that your job made you go through the national anthem everyday before the start of the work day.
