I think you are close. Rumor I've heard is that it's going to be an 87 foot tall dive coaster that's themed after Sidney Crosby. That will start a list of roller coasters I have no interest in riding out of straight principal (Go Caps).

Guessing it might be a black and yellow coaster?

Appears Tornado has been removed from the parks website. I heard about this a few weeks back was hoping it wasn't true. Luckily proslide tornados are basically everywhere but in my opinion huge loss for Soak City. Those rides are so fun.

Great report!!! I loved SFFT in 2008 when I went (even with my ride of The Rattler!). Can't wait to make a return trip hopefully in December. It really is an underrated park for sure. I think I might prefer it to SFOT (which I went there in 2012 and it closed after 2 hours because of rain).

I hope Great Adventure gets a Giant Discovery next as that would make their flat collection very solid which is one thing I thought it was lacking during my visit in 2011 (granted I was too preoccupied by El Toro, Nitro, and KK to give a sh*t).

Yes it would be quite good if American corporate parks didn't have concerns about building intamins AND RMCs! Luckily Six Flags already built so many.

I'm fairly convinced it could be the nuclear apocalypse and the ruins of BGW would still be beautiful and amazing.

The "madmax" levels are strong with this one.

Bring BGT's beer sample program over here, and they could probably pull that off. Their yearly additions could be an expanded beer selection for those 25 years each year

Amusement Parks don't "need" any rides to be added they just need money and attendance to continue operations. BGW could not add a single ride for 25 years and still be operating with solid attendance. EDIT: Sometimes coaster enthusiasts like to use "this park needs" as a word filter for "I want this park to have this because I want it, me"

I'm personally really hoping for a Time Traveler sister coaster for Dollywood one day as that would fit in greatly!

I don't mind going with non-enthusiasts as long as they listen to me because I know WTF I'm doing usually . Back in October the family all came to visit on a weekend and wanted to go to Kings Dominion...............on a Saturday.......in October. My sister was like "lets get there at opening!" I was sitting at their house at 11:30 annoyed because half the house wasn't showered yet and I knew every minute that went by on a Saturday in October that an astronimical amount of people were walking into that park. Place was a complete nuthouse by 1pm and the family was like "we'll get there the roller coasters aren't going anywhere!" no but those lines are getting longer!

Well this development is pretty cool! Really hoping this turns out to be it as that would be a great coaster to add to Carowinds! Might have to hold off on my Carowinds re-visit till next year so Fury 325 isn't the only ride of note added since I went in 2012.

I didn't rank Gringott's because I consider it to be a "dark ride with coaster elements," as opposed to Mummy, which is a "coaster with dark ride elements." I wonder if that makes any sense to anyone but me? Definitely makes sense to me. Gringotts never goes "full coaster" on you like Mummy does. When I first rode Mummy I had forgotten it was essentially a roller coaster with a dark ride beginning so it launched me up a hill into airtime somewhat out of nowhere what a pleasant surprise that was. Gringotts just has a little drop and curve through a tunnel other than that it's basically Spiderman/Transformers on a track.

Gringott's is definitely weird to compare to something like Montu A debate would between the two would be ridiculous "man I love the part on gringotts where the *spoiler* thing happens" "oh man but Montu's batwing is just ridiculous with the positive Gs" "still not as intense is the harry potter character shooting you with lightning on a screen!"

If a theme park adds a "clone' of a coaster it doesn't ruin the theme park. BGW is still amazing and wonderful with Tempesto. Absolutely nobody that isn't an enthusiast gives two sh*ts if there's a "clone" of another coaster anywhere.
