There are so many between Disney and Universal that it is hard to choose there. Outside of those parks, SFoG has a pretty amazing Gotham City section Most of Busch Gardens Tampa - but especially Pantopia (I love that the overlying story includes the shops and restaurants as well,) and any theming that contains Kumba is automatically awesome!

What an awesome Trip Report!! Thanks for sharing and I loved the captions. "gay away the pray..." -
Something that I really love about your perspective is that you go in expecting to have a good time and don't give a damn about what "enthusiasts" say about a ride or park. So often, you read about someone's visit to a park and want to ask if there was anything enjoyable or worthwhile about a park,l as all they have done is bitched and nit-picked the place to death. I know that you will always find the things to enjoy, and if a ride is crap - you will say it is crap, but seem to have a good time coming up with words to describe just how crappy it was! Thanks again for the reports and pictures!

Went and saw It this weekend with my husband, who is terrified of clowns. I told him he didn't have to go with me and that I was fine to go by myself. He felt "duty bound" LOL. Needless to say, he watched a big chunk of it through his fingers. I really, really enjoyed it. It captured the theme of friendship and the loss of innocence from the book, and Bill Scarsgard's Pennywise was truly horrific (Tim Curry is still my favorite though, just because.)

I can't believe I never went either. In my defense, when I last actually lived in Atlanta, I was a raging alcoholic party boy. I wouldn't have been aware it was going on really. I lived in Savannah, GA for 13 years before moving to Orlando (been clean and sober for 12 years now.) Although I'm sure I would have had a great time back then, I'm glad that when I do go, I will remember everything and I won't wake up in a strangers bed not knowing how I got there (I'll introduce myself and remember who they are now )

You know you're a Six Flags park if...

You wait longer for chicken fingers and a coke than you do for their signature roller coaster. -
A word to the wise regarding public transportation to the park and the area - during the day it is absolutely fine. At night, however, I'd recommend catching a cab at the last subway stop to get to the hotels / park (or an UBER from the airport.) MARTA is great and the subway is super efficient and easy to use. The stations and bus stops in that part of town can, however, be rather sketchy. For anyone unused to living or being around the inner city - it could be scary. Can't wait till next year to ride this. I absolutely love SFoG and seeing a ride of this magnitude being added makes me so very happy.

It would be cool to learn some random trivia about the park and the rides. -

Those of you planning to go to PPP 2017 -- and specifically, the Phriday night PPPreview Party (which you should be, it's going to be fkn amazing!!) -- may also be interest to know that the very kind folks over at the Elysburg Haunted House ( https://www.facebook.com/ElysburgHauntedHouse ) have offered Friday Knoebels attendees the special priviledge of a PREVIEW HAUNT night (somewhat in conjunction with the Knoebel event). It will also be held on Friday, October 6th, from 9 - 10 PM-ish** They note the closing is not a hard/fast time, and they they will stay open if there are large crowds of attendees -- they want EVERYONE to go through their amazing house!!! So yeah -- FYI if you're planning on attending PPP 2017, and specifically Knoebels Friday Night soiree, that one of the BEST Haunted Houses in all of America will be open for Enthusiasts and their Guests late on that Friday night as well. The house is AWESOME and it's an opportunity you'd be well served in seizing!!!!! OMG I so want to go - but it just isn't in the cards this year. I've always wanted to attend this event! Looking forward to pictures -

It really is an amazing park. Not complaining at all as I think this looks amazing, but I will miss "the drop." If you've ridden the Georgia Cyclone, you know the one I'm speaking of. I certainly won't miss being brutalized by the beating it gave, but I will kind of miss "the drop." The amazing turnaround should compensate though

^The awesome thing about Knoebels is, to the first time visitor, it doesn't appear perfect. It looks like you are pulling into a flea market. Once they get inside and spend about 10 minutes there, they are hooked though! I love that place.
