Fantastic report! As you know, I feel the same way about the classic Schwartzkopf's as you do so I really appreciate your perspective. I'm still not over SFoG getting rid of their Shuttle Loop. Viper was just so much fun, and they actually themed THE HELL out of it. David

^ I'm hoping to hop out there on Monday for a quick ride. I love how much better that side of the front of the park looks (come on, time to paint Scorcher now!) Looks like rain, but you never know. Little guy is in daycare, I'm off work and have the day to myself so why not?!

I'll agree that night rides on Lightning Rod are insane, but coming up to the quadruple down and seeing the holiday lights below you is truly epic. It's like "wow, pretty....oh my god....what's happening....airtime!!"

We had Hot Chocolate at Aunt Granny's and it was really really good! Get some to-go for while you wait in line for Cinnamon Bread!! We saw that line reach almost an hour two weeks ago

Great report! I am also a member of the Knoebel's fan club. Haven't been in a few years and need to rectify that soon! I won't ask what your favorite part of the day was as I know Knoebel's is the one place I can really never answer that question. The favorite part of my day is usually the whole day

We went on Sunday as well. It was pretty crowded (for Howl-o-Scream) but not as bad as I thought it would be. We loved the Black Spot and I really liked Motel Hell more than I probably should have . I got a few jump scares and was laughing throughout. The Zombie Containment Maze is a good concept, but I think they need to work on the execution a bit. We all enjoyed it, but it seems like there is still a bunch of potential being missed. Kumba was epic as always (and not rough.) Cheetah Hunt seems to get more fun each time I ride it. It is such a great ride and an awesome fit for the park. Rode Cobra's Curse for the first time - enjoyed it MUCH MUCH MUCH more than I thought I would. Awesome ride. Montu was amazing as usual Shiekra was awesome as well. Had an awesome day at the park!

This month? Mine Blower at Fun Spot

^True Thanks for the report. It's been great seeing your summer adventures. When I rode Mineblower right after it opened it felt a little grindy/shuffly to me as well. I went a couple of weeks ago with some friends for night rides and it was riding much much better.

^Doug, I've used Cedar Point fastlane before and the experiences during halloweekends have never been typical for me. There was about a 20 minute wait for Maverick but otherwise Charles and I found it very effective.
