  1. HectorG84 and I'm pretty stupid so it should be easy wins lol.
  2. ^HOLY CRAP! I watched that when it first came out, has it really been 10 years, wow that makes me feel old lol.
  3. HAHA The last one in the video was by FAR the best one! Thanks for the TR, I think my favorite type of booths at IAAPA (the one that I've been to lol) are the horrror ones. Oh one more thing. mmmmmm Quick fill fog....*insert drooling here*
  4. One can only dream. First off Welcome to the site! I think the biggest problem is the people who not not the die-hard harry Potter fans or theme park enthusiasts, and Elissa summed it up perfectly with her mom, is the way it's being advertised makes it seem like it's a whole new park being built instead of another Island (regardless of it's actual size). While I doubt it'll lead to miles of angry guests complaining, I do feel a lot of those "not in the know" will be slightly disappointed by it's size. I like the you also equate Disney with baby rides only LOL!
  5. ^ and ^^ Keep in mind that is a completely different set then the one guests will go through when it finally opens so don't even count on it looking like that aside from the screens. This is just a mock up, I'm sure for fine tuning the film while the real attraction is being built, one of the advantages of having "empty" sound stages around, get double the amount of work done in half the time. Thanks for posting this, it looks like a lot of fun, even though I *KNOW* they'll use this as yet another opportunity to squirt people with water!
  6. Awesome TR, This looks like a great way to advertise the LEGO brand and the bigger LegoLand parks while still being a lot of fun inside of a mall. Thanks for sharing!
  7. ^They say they're filming a documentary about entry level jobs (or seasonal jobs as the last episode did) to explain the cameras and sudden appearance of this person on the job for a day. I don't think it's scripted, but I do think they knew the right people to choose (everyone has a freakin' sob story!) And may take a few takes of the CEOs to get them to say something camera worthy.
  8. I don't normally come into this thread, but I had to share this video. It's a shot for shot remake of "After Today" the opening number from A Goofy Movie and it's awesome.
  9. I rode that at IAAPA This last year and I agree for being such a little guy he sure packs an amazing punch!
  10. shows the floor which seems to be the same on the Huss Giant Frisbees.
  11. ^^ & ^^^ Thanks, I was to lazy to look it up, but it's what I thought it was. ^Good to hear!
  12. Can someone explain to this American what watershed means? I assume due the addition of the actual girl in the post watershed video it has to due with the time of day/ night it can be shown? I really like the commercials and it gives enough way without completely giving everything away lol.
  13. Fixed, I'll believe in all the announced projects when they open to the public. As for the F1-X park, sounds about right for the current state of the majority of the other projects around Dubai as well.
  14. I think for non-enthusiasts (and a lot of enthusiasts like myself), it's far more scary to have that little "omg" moment before the big drop to let you know something normal is not going on. Tower of Terror at DCA does the same thing and it definitely puts you in an entirely different mind set then just a drop by itself would. It makes your mind over think things, like if it can do that what else will happen. Seems to me it might be able to get reprogrammed down the line as Tower of Terror in Florida has to keep it "fresh" down the line and a whole new thing to market depending on if they can change the effects inside as well if they wanted to.
  15. ^Agreed, it looks a bit on the short side to me, but it still seems like a lot of fun.
  16. ^Awesome report Chuck! I've never been to that Busch Park, but it looks great and all the additions seem like it gives the park that little extra something. Thanks for sharing.
  17. ^I don't know if I'd say it looks better as it's basically the same ride as the other Jurassic Park rides, but I will agree that the ending is pretty lackluster.
  18. ^I'm about 99% sure that's their Vekoma Motorbike coaster Booster Bike.
  19. It's Disney's official fan club. The D stands for Disney and the 23 stands for 1923 the year The Walt Disney Company was founded. There are two levels of membership, Gold at $74.99 a year and Silver at $34.99 a year.
  20. This can only be a good thing for Toverland as it really was a great little park. I'd be excited to see if they did go all out theme wise for the rest of the outside park because after the quality of theming around Troy, their Booster Bike seemed pretty out of place to me.
  21. ^Many, MANY people don't need to be having kids, but they do anyway. I would love to hear the father's brilliant plan when he left his kid in the bushes.
