While I have my own criticisms of the park, I'm not sure I completely agree with your comments. It was the state that wants to blame Intamin, not Knott's themselves (yet), it's obviously all Knott's fault for not doing any preventive maintenance, AND for letting it go three weeks passed it's six month inspection. I'm going to wait until the press release tomorrow to fully form an opinion on how I really feel about it all. I'm sure it's also incredibly difficult to keep the maintenance hogs like Xcelerator with a park that's open year round as opposed to parks that close in Winter with having to keep all the other rides in working and (mainly) safe order. i would hope this will lead to changes though that will allow the maintenance department to have the proper resources (weather it be more time, more money, better planning, or more people) to keep something like this from happening again. I also just want to point out that maintenance usually isn't the department that makes the policies for the ride, and while they work together and the same park, I'm sure most of us can agree that departments (and their managers in any situation including outside amusement parks) are usually pretty independent.

Yes, yes it did and I was one of them. I honestly didn't even know it was back on! But I always skipped weeks and caught up on Hulu, I already missed the first two episodes from when it came back, but maybe I can find the torrents of them online and get caught up that way.

I saw an interview somewhere at one point in my life with Lea Michelle that in that same episode, the guys get to dress up as Kiss while the girls are doing Gaga, so not a full episode to her and that's a good thing. And screw Britney!

And having been on the other end and having to use those mics, AGREED! It's fine when you have tons of trains constantly moving through and say the same stuff over and over with some randomness thrown in every once in a while, but it is extremely difficult to kill time with a mic in the situations like the video.

^You're from the IE, you should know they're in Moreno Valley along the canyons!

That's actually not TOO bad. It's all in the story telling. For example, Indiana Jones is only around 3:30, but you'd never guess it. While I agree it is quite a short ride time and slightly disappointing, I agree with Joey and it's the overall story and presentation. I'm sure that four minutes doesn't include the pre-shows. Did one of the main guys from IOA/Universal Orlando say it was going to be an hour experience? Obviously over exaggerating and probably with full queue, but I'm sure people will come off satisfied (except for the spiders, why did it have to be spiders!).

While none of it is official and no one knows for sure how it's going to work, I highly doubt that if it was seriously implemented this way, it would last very long for the exact reasons you mentioned. The guests (AP and and otherwise) won't really stand for this and there will be a TON of complaints about the way it will be. I know I'll personally go make a (nice, thought out, calm) complaint (which I know the majority of people will not) if this does happen if only for the sake of having the policy about the show changed.

^Nope, they are rumored to be doing a fastpass like system for this show (at least at first) and they're implementing standing room only to allow for more people to squeeze into the amphitheater since they expect the show is going to be so popular. And regardless of the stupid rules, I'm still excited for this!

^How is watching Glee feminine?

They don't, the chambers that create the air pressure are different then the ones housing the pistons attached to the cars, it's the reason why there are four little tubes around the central tube inside of the ride structure.

lol when I read this my mind went immediately to Nothing But Trouble! -
I have to agree with this, I went to SFGAdv in September of 2008 and Medusa was a LOT better then Scream is, the four other friends that were with me (all from SoCal, all have been on Scream many times and few coasters outside of California) also agree with this and said as much as soon as we got off the ride without me even prompting them lol. What the biggest difference felt like to me was when they made Scream taller, they made the inversions an even bigger ratio so it feels much less intense then it's east coast counterpart. And of course it was a lot smoother.

^Terminator's concept looked to be drawn long before the terminator theme was decided upon. As for this story line, where the ride sits (or rather where the drops are) there used to be animation for the Paddlewheel Excursions Ride (think Jungle cruise) about two families feuding over moonshine. It's just a nice nod to the area it's in (kinda like keeping the heads of the animals from country Bear Jamboree in Winnie The Pooh) but what remains to be seen is how much they'll actually theme it to the story line. They already have the animation if they just wanted to stick it on either side of the ride at any point so that would be easy enough. RC "Capitan Hector" Freak -
If it was a brand new yet to be opened park, News casts would honestly be the best bet as they are kinda like video TRs that give more insight into a park then any TV commercial could.

^^Same! on some of them I'm just throwing words together with what letters I have and eventually making valid words lol.
