1. Hmmmm I wonder which already green coaster in the park is closed until Spring...
2. I'm excited, I was half thinking about going since I enjoyed Sinister Pointe last year but this TR plus the deal on Goldstar have me sold! I do have a question though, I pretty much know the answer, but hey it helps to have clarification, your admission provides unlimited use of the mazes correct?
3. I think Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure had a few flat moments (uh yeah that whole Betty White bit...), but I'm sure they'll work it out a bit as the event and show progresses. And because I'm a dork, I did record the last dance number from the show. SInce I forgot my memory card at home, my actual camera was useless so I had to use my iPhone 3gs. I'm sure there will be better video later on, but hey it's more then you'll see of Florida's production!
4. Excellent TR so far! The Aussie park posts bring back a lot of fun memories for me when I went in 2006.
5. Man I wish Hollywood would take a page from Florida's book and change things up a little more each year, Thanks for the TR's guys I wish I could go to this year's HHN in Florida, but I guess this will have to do!
6. RECONSIDER! Seriously, for opening night and a Friday, it was really packed and the group I was with missed out on the Terror Tram, Nightmare on Elm Street and House of 1000 corpses cause of the lines. So I can only imagine the horrors that await on a Saturday. Also the wait times are lies haha, Kong said it had a 5 minute wait, but we ended up waiting about half an hour to get on; I attribute that to being opening night and a new set up, but we also waited about 40 minutes for Saw with a posted wait time of 20 minutes and about 35 minutes in line for The "25 minute" Simpson's Ride before I decided we needed to leave the line to catch the 12:00 Bill And Ted. Fucking A this is the most annoying thing I think about Universal's event (also a criticism I had two years ago, seriously, it annoys me...), but yeah it seemed like if there was a water effect, I was the one in our group that got hit every single time. I also had issues with decapitated bodies, but that's another subject. And I don't know if it's just me, but it honestly felt like the exact same event I went back to in 08 (didn't go last year). I expected it to be a little more different, but hey it's still a really fun Haunt with top notch Mazes that I still highly recommend (WITH GATE A PASSES!). All that said, great TR William, it felt like I was there .
7. Got some yesterday on my way to Disneyland, I'll just post all the dates for anyone else wanting them. $33 September. 24, 26, 30 & Oct. 3 $35 Sept. 25, Oct. 1, 6, 7, 10, 27, & 31 $38 Oct. 2, 13, 20, 28 $40 Oct. 14, 17, 21, 24 $44 Oct. 8, 9 $46 Oct. 15, 22, 29, 30 $50 Oct. 16, 23
8. Don't listen to your friends. Listen to Robb.
9. Obviously not your quote, but why wouldn't they just roll this out to every single seat of every car, would that be too expensive? I would think the cost would be justified for customer satisfaction, and of course not having to wait longer for a "special car" to come around on top of what the queue already is. But hey, at least larger folks (probably me) don't have to worry about three clicks anymore.
10. ^From reading their Facebook Page, Sinister Pointe is doing the Queen Mary Mazes this year, just saying.
11. ^^With how much money Alice in Wonderland made this year (over $1 Billion with a "B") worldwide? Yes I think you are.
12. ^There are always literally thousands of ideas in the planning stages at Disney that never come true too. As for ElecTRONica, I freaking LOVED Glow Fest so this slightly re-branded (and expanded!) version of it is definitely a welcome addition in my book. I like that Disney is finally putting things in the back part of Hollywood Blvd to liven things up when it usually feels so dead back there.
13. The way I see it, I like them keeping the movie themed mazes as USH is a movie studio with a few rides unlike Orlando which is a theme park based on movies. And you know, the park IS in Hollywood, I'm sure they will branch out in future events (like this year and Vampyre maze), but I really hope they stick with a few movie based properties every year. There's a completely new icon in La Llorona that is very inherently Mexican and I don't think would work as well out in Orlando as Her and the Cucuy (Mexicans know what I'm talking about!) were the most common threats against children who misbehaved (none of this "Santa won't bring you presents" crap, we go for full on kidnapping and death) for our culture (shut up Elissa, I was still raised by two Mexican parents lol). I have a feeling she would be pretty popular out here in SoCal if they ever wanted to use her as a main icon.
14. Welcome to 1995 Disney! You cannot tell me I'm the only one who hears the similarities!
15. I <3 Glow fest at DCA! The Mojito was alright, but this Cosmo was pretty damn strong!
16. It also means access to Tower of Terror and Hyperion Theater is through A Bugs Land at the moment.
17. Bad news is there's only one showing of WoC on the 16, so it looks like you'll have to get a $15 picnic, or $37-40 dinner package in order to get yourself a fastpass for the show. Just remember to be there EARLY if you want a good spot for viewing and remember, the closer you are to the water, the wetter you WILL get. You can either watch the first showing of Fantasmic! and stay at the Rivers of America for viewing the Fireworks, or you can Watch the Fireworks and still have plenty of time to get a decent spot for the second showing of Fantasmic! That is entirely up to you, but perfectly do-able without having to rush. My favorite spot to watch the Fireworks is at the end of Mainstreet on the right side, next to the Photo store, as close to the ropes you can get.
18. It looks like there was some of the perimeter fence was in the ride area, the reason why people, aka the manager who was injured, were running into the still running ride area and the ride was e-stopped (the center tower "dropping suddenly" and immediately slowing down), but that's just speculation based on the shaky clip. Watch the slow mo of the clip starting around the 0:22 mark (but ignore the newscaster) and watch the guy in the white shirt run to the left and you can see the fence fly up under the rider's path when the manager gets hit and goes down and the guy in the white shirt pull the fence away at around 0:37 (again, completely ignore the newscaster).

20. ^^Considering it will be the third set of swings the park has, they'll keep it to make Cedar Point the amusement park with the most amount of swings in one park lol.
21. Speak for yourself, I have a list. That's not a Popsicle and it's not in the freezer.
22. Speak for yourself, I have a list. And can you imagine what kind of reaction this would get from the religious sect if this were ever attempted in the US?
23. Ah, so an extra table, and more of a whip action going on? I've never ridden Francis' (Only Hemlich!) They don't whip around, do they? And having worked Power Tower at Cedar Point, I've always found Malibooemr to be quite "Meh" so I'm not really going to be sad to see it go.
24. I'm so happy this was overturned, I mean if you completely take religion out of it, there's no valid reason to deny these rights. Most of the people for Prop 8, I'm more then sure, would support the civil unions that allow homosexuals the same benefits if it wasn't for there religious views on marriage (which I'm more then ok with, you don't have to agree with my lifestyle or even like it, just don't tell me it's not allowed because of your own personal beliefs between two consenting adults) As the gay judge said, "Moral disapproval alone is an improper basis on which to deny rights to gay men and lesbians," U.S. District Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker. Amen good Sir. Amen.
