Sorry about the double post but I did get my new motherboard & processor combo working...turns out that the guy gave me the wrong type of memory...(mine takes the DDR Type 2) and my previous motherboard/processor was defective. Now, I do have a question. I go to boot up the computer, boot up windows and I get the blue screen. So I popped in my Windows XP cd to 'repair'. Appearently, it kinda installed another Windows XP (I can now choose 3 windows XP's on my bootup). The one I normally choose does the blue screen. How do I fix this so I can get all my picture files and stuff back? I know they're still here because my C drive still shows 1 gig left. (I got way too many programs.) Any help would be appreciated.

Good news is that I got the original running again. Not sure what would cause no display to come up with the new MB. I'm going to give it another shot as it's a new day and my patience level's back up again. Wish me luck.

Today, I purchased a new Motherboard and processor hoping to easily upgrade my computer with more memory capacity and a more powerful processor. After spending who knows how long, I got everything connected and guess what...after hooking up the computer, nothing shows up on the screen...just the "No Signal" thing...that's it. After checking everything and reconnecting everything, turns out that the computer doesn't want to start up at all...just 1 second of power and it's off. Deciding I'm going to take everything back I put all the original parts back in my computer only to find out again, it doesn't want to start up...I have a feeling that I most likely fried something when connecting the wires...my fingers kept going elsewhere. Would a fried motherboard cause a computer to do this? And what would cause no video/image to be displayed when the computer's booting up? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I"m ready to chuck it somewhere and get it over with. Originally, this was just going to be a rant but figured I'd make it into a help topic instead.

TPR and Theme Park Artwork
Angry_Gumball replied to sfmmFREAK's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Not all themepark-related artwork but here's a lot of my works...(you saw the Dipper and Mantis ones before.) The rest were done with pastels and scratchboard My w00t4g3. -
Doesn't show much but those who may remember Virtual Rides (Flat ride sim) and ofcourse everyone knows NL, are joined together for No Limits Virtual Rides (Or NLVR for short). Official Site So far, it doesn't say to much...other than coming soon. I give "Man" credit to this find as he called me at work all excited to tell me about this. EDIT: Found more info. Found on Deadly Electronic's site. Full info here

Low quality webcam pix of my room...yes, needs more cleaning but I"m too lazy...(Go to school, go home, go to work for 5 hours, come home, do homework...) I will probably take better pix with my so-called "Fancy-Cam" once my room's more presentable. Last but not least, it's the area I stare at the most in my room... More head...I mean the ceramic head I made. TV, Gamecube, random boxes and my ceramic head I made that doubles as a hat holder...he watches over my room while I'm gone. Games and DVDs...(TPR DVD's somewhere in the crowd) My bed...I actually made it...only to take it apart again.

Quick question for TPR users
Angry_Gumball replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just tested it in IE but same as the above post...a tiny screen cropping most of the video, and the page took forever to come up. I'll stick with my Firefox...ran perfectly on it. -

Turbo Drop or Space shot??
Angry_Gumball replied to c0@ster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've only ridden upwards launch (Doubleshot). I'd imagine that the Space Shots would give more of a thrill, especially the Doubleshots as you get 2 full blasts up the tower. The anticipation waiting for it to launch makes a great addition as the one at SCBB was actually synchronized with a soundtrack. When I rode it though, the timing was off and it was my first ride. Waiting for it to launch, I thought it was broke down or some weird glitch happening...and suddenly it took off. (Had a 5 second delay after the music started.) -

Sounds interesting...Slightly off topic but kinda reminds me of the type of idiots we saw at Wendy's earlier. Besides that fact, it sounds like you had fun for the most part there...I still yet have to ride the 'standup floorless' Tango and the Experience...those look pretty insane. Same goes with the Hard Rock. -

Is this a coaster?
Angry_Gumball replied to philcoaster83's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I say it is a coaster. Yes, the train may have onboard brakes but look at whizzer...it has an onboard lift mechanism. Otherwise, it's freerolling. You can only control your speed as far as slowing down...but you can't make the coaster speed up any faster than what gravity will allow. -
Zonga, Thriller, Taz
Angry_Gumball replied to buttonman700's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I sat up towards the front (I believe I was above the wheels) and I actually enjoyed it. Yes, it was rough but it was still an enjoyable ride. My bro liked it as well. The rest of our crew didn't care for it. Our neighbors down the street said "If I wanted to get banged up, I'd go fight someone." Personally, I enjoyed it but the trains were a bit cramped...like a sardine can. We actually have a peice of a Zonga bolt from last time we went to SFMW...this bolt was cut though. I also have one of Zonga's nuts. (get the mind out of the gutter!) -
I so remember the Pokemon rage...They actually let us play them at school until everyone started to get their cards ripped off or making quick trades in class. I do remember a Yo-yo rage that I kinda started back in the 6th grade. Just one day, I brought my yo-yo to school and showed my friend who just bought one how to do some tricks and next thing I know, everyone starts bringing them. A month later, the teacher got a huge pack of the Duncan yo-yos for the class and put on a 'how to yo-yo' video...we later went outside to practice the tricks.

Just to forwarn you about the DS Lite, the hinges have been known to get cracks in them. I don't know if they're revising the design or not to make the hinges sturdier but keep the 'fatty' DS for now.

Pluto NOT a Planet anymore! WTF!
Angry_Gumball replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Random, Random, Random
We've all been told a lie our whole lives that pluto was part of our solar system...Anyone know the old saying that helped us remember the planets "My very educated mother just served us nine pizza pies"? Well, it is now (came up with at work yesterday) "My very well educated mother just served us nothing" Anyway, that sucks that the ball of ice is no longer a planet. -
Being a floorless, how is the retractable floor setup going to work? As you know, normal floorless retractable floors kinda sink into the ground as they open up like doors. Are these just going to slide open as these trains are a whole lot wider than your normal floorless? (like the sliding doors you find at store entrances)

Here, (well at my bro's school) it's all about tight emo jeans, converse, Vans classic slip-ons, and one of the most unusual trends of all: (and those are this way, please don't take offense.) Last year, tons of kids were becoming gay/lesbian...I've seen kids go from liking opposite sex one day to liking the same sex the next day. These are kids...too young to understand what being gay/lesbian is...they just think it's something new and different.

DS...I can care less about PSP. In my opinion, graphics (which PSP seems to boast) don't make good gameplay. For me, it's all about creativity...and then you can throw in some decent graphics but mainly, it's all about gameplay and replayability. And my DS/GBA can do almost everything the PSP can (except surf the internet).

I'm like 45 minutes (SFMW/DK) from 1 park and 25 from the other (PGA)...I couldn't get any better than that...but unfortunately, I do not have the time to visit them often as I work 6 days a week (Well 7 if I add my other job in) and also being in school.
