  1. Not trying to bash Sony but this will definitely give 'em some bonus points. PS3 Meltdown delay Basically, these are overheating and stuff...
  2. I found an interesting read a few minutes ago, after hearing my dad telling me about what he had read in the Wall Street Journal about the Wii. It turns out that unfit 'fatties' can't handle the Wii and are experiencing "The Wii Elbow." Something tells me that Nintendo's in for some ridiculous lawsuits from unfit players/careless players who want to complain about life all day long. So funny to read....and these people don't realize all it takes is a simple flick to hit that baseball...not some super smash swing that's going to send their wii-mote through the window. Basically, it says this: Article here
  3. lol....actually, that blue glow makes a nice pulsating nightlight...especially for those midnight trips to the bathroom....and the glow looks cool so I leave it on...and I like to see if I recieved any "Wii-Mail" before firing up the Wii.
  4. To this day, I still haven't found any Nunchuk attachments. I did however got 2 more Wiimotes the other day. I doubt I'll find any extra nunchuks anytime soon...luckily most of my multiplayers rely mainly on the Wiimote, though I want to box against someone on Wii Sports. Anyone feel free to add me as well on their friends..code's in the sig. Lastly, no prank e-mailing each other...(If you know, when your wii's in standby, it's slot lights up if it's set to do so....I've had people e-mail me in the middle of the night and suddenly, my room light up blue. I won't point fingers though...lol
  5. So far, I have add you all. Can't wait for them to bring on the Wii-fi games. Making Mii's are addicting. I've made South Park's Mr. Garrison, a faceless dude, and an Emo dude. Well, my bro made the emo guy.
  6. LoZ:TP is definitely well worth it. It's known as one of the best launch titles in history from what I've read...and I'd have to agree.
  7. Mine is 2746 5794 2220 3599 I'll add it to my signature as well for quick reference.
  8. Modified my ever-so-popular Vekoma avvie...
  9. There wasn't any issues with the Wii, though the demand's not as high as PS3...We did, however, experience some Sony/Microsoft fanboys doing random shout-outs as well as non gamer general public...It's amazing how stupid people can get over a console. I'm just glad the Wii didn't experience any issues...especially our campout as things were quiet for most of it.
  10. I finally figured out about the Monkey Cradle thing...Slashing the wood sword's pretty fun as well. Now, my friend's wanting to come over and check out the Wii. And I'm still pretty tired from being up over 24 hours...Technically, I wasn't asleep at the campout though my eyes were closed for 30 mins...I still heard laughter, my iPod that lasted all night/morning, and random "The Wii!!!" shout-outs by a random fellow camper mostlikely on something or overly excited.
  11. ^Your best bet is not to trust anything on the internet. Mostlikely, it will give you spyware, screw up your computer, and then give you a program to clean it out only to make it worse. Be careful with what they have in the stores as well...especially if it's some off-the-wall brand. Most likely, it will screw your computer up too as it will detect the wrong things and delete critical Windows files.
  12. I'm enjoying my Wii right now...I've been playing with my Wii all day now...and not that way. I've been playing Twilight Princess trying to figure out how to get that cradle from that monkey as well as boxing it up on Wii Sports. Monkey Ball's sweet too.
  13. Yay...I'm happy. I got the Wii. I had no clue that I was camping out until the last minute when my mom and bro held a spot in line for me. I was #33 in line at a Best Buy. After work, I headed home real quick to grab some goodies such as my NDS, jacket, hat, etc...and we were off for the 15 hour wait from the time I got off work. Dinner consisted of an Elissa friendly meal at McDonalds so I knew the night was gonna be good. Shortly after, we situated our 'camp site' and got to know the people around us as we had the remainder of the night to spend with 'em. Everyone was cool with each other, conversed with each other and so on. That night, I picked up Monkey Ball just to get myself prepared. Later that night, me and 4 others got a nice game of MKDS going until my DS battery decided to die...so, I borrow another friend's DS. Besides all the good stuff going on, we did experience utter idiots. They drive by asking "What are you waiting for? Get a life." and we responded "We're waiting for the LeapFrog leap pad!" and that shut 'em up. As the night went on, we decided to get some 5 player Tetris going...but it was getting cold and our hands didn't want to move. A group of people way ahead of us went all out with a TV, propane heater, Gamecube, and Smash Bros tourney. It was a great night and everything was pretty quiet after the store closed. Here's how the whole setup ran. There was originally an unofficial roster. Later that night, Best Buy duplicated the roster and officialized it. Every 3 hours, we did a roll call and those who weren't there were eliminated...Didn't happen though. After roll call, it was time for the 'wii break' or potty break. Pretty much, the rest of the night, we chilled literally as fog came in and the end result....Turns out that the store had a whopping 102 units available, which as mentioned, I was 33. Only 40 left empty handed, which were mainly early morning latecomers that were never added to the roster. Lastly, a worker tortured us by saying they were going to raffle off the numbers rather than stick with first come first serve style. I knew he was BSing though. On the other hand, it doesn't look like our local target had much...they still have tons of games left over and tons of Wii-motes. No nunchuck though otherwise, I would have nabbed it. And I must say, every penny of it was well spent. This console is sweet! LoZ: TP...Big seller of the night. Monkey Ballz OMG Wii! Overviewage of the area I'll be staring at the most now...
  14. Why is Home Depot taking part with SF on this? Does SF want us coaster nerds to hit up Home Depot to make our own backyard coasters or something?
  15. Another watercolor WIP by me...Not done yet though.
  16. ^I played the MonsterStorm at a Target yesterday and graphically, it's nice...otherwise, just another normal video game holding a controller. I can get the same enjoyment playing my 4-wheel Thunder for my Dreamcast instead of shelling out 500-600 bucks to do the same. Actually, MonsterStorm felt kinda Slo-mo and somewhat choppy to me.

  18. Closest I got to the Wii was holding the rubber grips/protectors for the Wii Remote that the store was selling.
  19. Well, I actually got to see the PS3 in person today and got to play it. (PS3 Credit?) Target has yet to set up their Wii stuff for people to try though. Mainly, the PS3 boasts some nice hi-res textures (Such as rocky looking ground, shiny bumpers/hoods and stuff) on this off-road truck game that I was playing. Otherwise, nothing really innovative...and the PS3 is huge.
  20. My Razor (Well, actually, Micro) Scooter's in my closet right now. Got a few stories to share though. 1: One time, my cousin and I are cruising downhill as she was tailgating me. I didn't realize she was right behind me as I slowed down. A car was pulling out of a driveway so I slowed down. Next thing I knew, I jolted forward slightly as she tumbles down past me. I continued rolling as she bit asphalt. Pretty funny if you ask me. 2: I was riding a gas scooter for the first time and it was one of those you have to run onto to get it going. Well, my friend was getting ready to ride it crossing a street so he did the running jump onto it...but it didn't start up...It stayed there and launched him over the handlebars, right infront of all these stopped cars. He got up and threw his hands in the air like "W00t that was fun!" and hopped back on it. I was laughing the whole time as he bit it out in the middle of a big street.
  21. I picked up a WiiVD at BestBuy yesterday to see what more gameplay footage it has. Still haven't watched it yet but the whole Wii console seems promising. I was talking to some of my gamer friends earlier and they agree that the PS3 is extremely expensive, mainly because of the Blu-Ray and Hi-Def outputs. Those are useless to me as I don't have a hi-def TV neither do I need one.
  22. Well, moving on from the almost death of my 3g iPod, I went out and purchaced a new 30 gig 'Pod today. I'm really pleased with the iPod video and it's resolution. Now, off to put some TPR videos on it, as well as other 'Porta-Pov's'. South Park on iPod Video
  23. Sad but true....I'd like to pay my respects to my beloved 3rd Gen iPod that was working perfectly...Until it got sat on.. In a way, the way it died is kinda funny but it really sucks...and it's out of warranty (duh...) It actually still plays music after being crushed with over 200 pounds of body mass. RIP 3rd Gen 'Pod. (I'm off to get a new one tomorrow but can't decide: white or black?) Atleast, I can still use it as an external hard drive... Ink blot test! What do you see? I see a dead iPod. Noooooooooooo................
  24. I was actually ready to hook up my DC the other day...I loved (And still love) that thing. I actually purchased mine when I knew it was dead, knowing hey'er gonna be hard to get once again. Crazy Taxi was probably one of my favorite games to play if I wanted some quick action along with Sonic Adventures and RE: Code Veronica. Lastly, I even have a coaster game for it called "Coaster Works." About the PS2 DVD player: Sounds like a gimmick. Actually, I heard that the PS2's DVD function is actually not really the best thing for your PS2 as one of my friend's PS2's took a dump on him from playing DVDs on it. I forgot what exactly he said but I guess it overworks some stuff on it.
  25. I'm probably gonna wait a bit after the Wii-lease and probably pick it up at my local... Ok...I got bored...
