Actually, as your battery power decreases, only 3 of the 4 lights or 2 of the 4 lights (depending on strength) will flash. This can be checked when the Wii's turned off. Otherwise, just hit the home button to check battery power. It will show for all Wiimotes depending on if they're 'awake.' Lastly, when I have a low battery, I've had the game tell me that it lost connection, so I swapped with another Wiimote and continue play. (Which I'm glad it drops the connection and pauses the game otherwise, I could have something attacking me and I have no way to pause the game.) And I'm still waiting for my Wii straps...no confirmation, no mail...nada thing. Other news, I almost forgot to post....I feared my Wii Sports getting scratched in it's cardboard sleeve so I made a case for it. Came out nice actually, minus the fact the printer put a nice crease in the paper and doesn't print to the edges on executive (7.5x10.25) paper. Back View Front View -

My Wiimote hasn't cut out on me yet, not even the speaker. I did happen to read that GI article about the PSFreeze and the Wii, how they compare. They did say that the Wii is gimmicky but I think not. The games (That I have) make excellent use of the Wiimote, not little minor 'gimmicky' things. Glad to see that the Wii pwned the PS3 in the magazine, not that I'm a fanboy or anything...(I do have original PSX, and Dreamcast and love both systems, so I say not a fanboy). -
Right now, I'm playing Raving Rabbids...and my arm is tired...(Got addicted to "Bunnies are over-sensitive" and shook the nunchuk like crazy to give the bunny a 140m bump). Currently, I'm doing the second brain labyinth thingy and keep getting stuck in the same exact hole.

Maybe they'll fine-tune things as more Wii-Fi games come along. It sounds like Nintendo's pretty much on top of things security-wise. I read the official Nintendo boards frequently and they're not even allowed to exchange Wii/DS friend codes. I'm sure they don't want people (especially younger peeps) to have problems from someone they don't know...just my guess. -

^ We'll see about that...Cant wait for SSB:B. I keep hearing different dates: March, June, and November (to release along side with Halo 3 for competition). Not sure what to believe... Finally, I'm not the only one to mention Excite Truck. Excellent game, controll -wise and graphic-wise. Playing this and playing MotorStorm (For PoS3), I did a comparison on the motion sensor controllers. the PS3's motion sensors has a delay to it. Basically, I turn the controller to the left, about a second later, the truck finally makes a nice wide turn straight into a cliff or off the edge. And you can't drift like you can on ET. Praise the Wii for precise movement, immediate response to motion, and overall being fun and appealing to everyone. -

Almost forgot to post about how New Years Eve went with the Wii...I took it down the street to a neighbor's house as some were kinda having a drinking party. So, I hooked it up to a nice expensive widescreen projection TV, give the other 3 players their Wiimotes, gave the usual breifing of using the wrist strap and how to bowl and on with the games... TV survived the Wii after having some people intoxicated play it. It was almost funny as they still couldn't figure out how to roll the ball after the 5th frame through. Same with Monkey Ball darts (My favorite SMBBB party game)...they kept flinging them into the walls/making nosedives. Glad to say though, everyone enjoyed it, including the TV as no harm was done...no flying Wiimotes, no broken straps. Just some dead batteries after the night/morning was over. -
That was really great! I should now get a TPR hoodie so I can discover the magic (And get transported to some random park!) And how did the TPR hoodie show up on Wikipedia? I tried searching but no matches.

Just as the title says...I kept getting to this white debug page when trying to get to the forums, and then the forums loaded up completely empty with only 8 registered users. No posts existed.

I hope they're going to repaint Kong as well...2 red/orange colored coasters in a park....kinda reminds me of Cedar Point: Maggie, TTD, and Draggin' Iron. Maybe SFMW will give it different support colors. EDIT: Look closely at the posted pic, on the middle support, Medusa's side...it's a maroon color. Looks like Medusa can use some new skin as well...Some supports got a bit more sun than others.[/img]

Come on over this way...We've got an over-abundance of Classic Controllers...I can't seem to find any Nunchuks though...Really getting annoying. Anywho, for those who's did the wrist strap replacement, did you guys get a confirmation e-mail or some kind of notice? I haven't heard/recieved anything from Nintendo yet and I placed my order 2 weeks ago. I've even logged into the My Nintendo on the site and it says that I have no orders at all. Is something not going through to them when placing my order? -

Yes it is...I just bought it tonight and just fired it up about a half hour ago. Too bad I only have 1 nunchuck still. Maybe soon, I'll find more nunchucks. I can definitely see where this can instantly become insane multiplayer madness...and the screaming bunnies...gotta love 'em! And I'm still waiting for my straps to come in...what state are they coming from anyway? -
Excite Bike...err..Excite Truck. (Well, both involve jumps) Just pwned my brother. I was also playing LoZ:TP (Wii) trying to fight the Snow Peak Ruins boss. Keep dying though.

Go into the Bulliten Board thingy and go to the address book. Your Wii Code's on the very front page where it says "Address Book" Anyway, about that Rayman game, how long does the game last? About how many mini games are there to play? From the teaser videos Robb posted, those rabbids look quite weird right down to their funky scream. Would this last as a party game? -

I guess it was a good thing they strayed away from their Boomerang controllers. Someone would be bound to make a hard left, chuck the controller thinking it's a boomerang and hope it will return to them as it smashes thru a window, hit a friend or anything else. I miss the Sony days of PS1...that was a classic. -

I was actually thinking along the lines of Six Axis referring to maybe it's gyroscopic sensors and the axis it has. My friend was telling me that the motion sensing is designed to just enhance the controls so as an example: you're racing and you're using the analog stick like you've always done in the ppast. Usually, people tend to turn the controller the direction they're turning thinking it's doing something...the motion sensors would enhance the controls and probably make it more responsive to turning. Wasn't the motion sensing capabilities a last-minute decision during E3 when the Wii was unveiled? -

I am with you. I just hope its sooner rather than later. I was at our local Target about 20 minutes ago and a bunch of people (about 20) were standing around because there were some Wii's that were about to get pulled off a truck. While I'm not one to stand around with the masses in order to get something, at least they do seem to be coming in and a pretty consistant pace. On a side note, there were 4 PS3's just sitting there that no one was interested in. I really find it shocking that there doesn't seem to be the interest in PS3 as I thought there would be. --Robb I saw the same at Target. The lack of interest of the PS3 is so true. I saw 3-4 of them on the 23rd in a crowded electronics area...and they sat...and sat...Yay Sony...great job! And just above the 4 PS3's, there was a sign that was saying "Due to the shortage of PS3s we won't be expecting any until after the holidays. Sorry for the inconvenience." I found that rather funny as they just sat underneath. I must add on that playing Motostorm with "T3h s1x 4xis!!11!" motion controls, and then playing Excite Truck, I found Excite Truck far better. And for those who care for graphics only, the game does a decent job, so close to Next Gen graphics. -

Are they going to do Wii Play without the Wiimote? I mean, I already have 4 Wiimotes...kinda pointless to have 5 of them...I guess the only option is to sell one to a friend. -

Anyone got Excite Truck? So far, I'm loving this game as it involves a coaster nerd's favorite thing: Airtime! Oh yea...earlier, I got my aunt who's basically played Gameboy and NES to try the Wii...doing Monkey Balls and Bowling. It was a blast watching all of us have a great time not destroying our TV with how hard we were throwing the balls. It was also a blast watching my aunt (She doesn't drive) play Excite Truck....thru the trees, off the off-road course, and thru more trees...and finally back on track. Pretty fun I must say. And what's with the "Happy Quanza" I recieved earlier? -

So far, I got... From Work: $25 for Safeway...(Christmas Dinner), Teddy bear, and a picture frame. Today, from my sister: $20 Wally World giftcard...(Not sure what Wii game I wanna get yet..maybe Excite Truck?) That's it for now. It would have been cool if Nintendo was kind and gave us a free Virtual Console game for those of us who registered our Wii's. -
