  1. I guess those Japanese people must have all had impulse purchases as well. Pretty successfull though on the serious side. I'm glad people are smart enough to realize that better graphics doesn't make a better game...or they just see 'its cheaper, so I buy.' And a random note that has nothing to do with the topic: My lizard's singing...
  2. I have a Golfland-Golden Tee not even 5 minutes from me (Has arcade, 2 golf courses), Boomers (Bumper boats, go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, and arcade), Karts n Golf (name says what it has), and I think that's pretty much it.
  3. As much as I don't want to promote Fanboyism and flaming console, I found an article, that Sony claims the Wii as in impulse purchase (In other words, buying it on first site, with no intentions...like just randomly purchasing it because it was sitting on the shelf and you had no previous intentions on getting it...) so anyway, I'd like to find out how it's an 'impulse purchase' when the Wii's haven't been on the shelves long enough for some random Joe to say "hey, let's buy this, though I have no clue what it is!" I wouldn't claim seeing adverts for Wii and wanting to get it an impulse purchase as you already have plans on getting it. The article can be found here. Sounds like Sony's getting jealous to me...
  4. Got one even better...First off, changing things up. Forget Yu-Gi-Oh...Now, it's Magic: The Gathering. Anyway, I found a Magic card gen and made this... And here's the Card Generator
  5. The only article of clothing that can/will change things are the TPR hoodies. Otherwise, uniforms aren't going to change a person's actions.
  6. Strange topic...but I have one... Friend's first ever coaster in his life; an SLC. "I'll attack you with my 3/3 flying creature...I'll block with my Serra Angel! Tap all your lands...." (Reffering to Magic cards). Don't know why he was doing random Magic: The Gathering shout-outs but he did...and I laughed the whole ride through with an ocassional "ow"
  7. Forget Cedar Fair...put it in Disney parks...Install Gears of War/Halo stations at Disney parks for all the kiddies to play...that would be an unforgetable experience. Include a limited edition Disney park map as a playable map. I'm sure parents would fully approve of Disney for doing such things like that.
  8. ^Especially Sudden Death...that one's hard. My personal favorite character would have to be 9-Volt/18-Volt, eversince the first Wario Ware.
  9. Got my third Nunchuk tonight, along with Metal Slug Anthology. No more feeding quarters into the machine. If you love side scrolling Contra-like action/shooting, get this! This game has tons of control setups: Gamecube controller, tilt (Right and left handed), Nunchuk only, Nunchuk control stick, Wiimote as a joystick (Very hard to master) and NES pad style (Lefty or Righty). I prefer the NES pad style myself. This is a perfect porting of an arcade version right down the the SFX and the "Free Play" at the bottom of the screen. Best of all, I got $5 off of it as I had a coupon to use to get $5 off of any next gen game with purchase of a next gen first party controller. Now, off to hunt down my last nunchuk!
  10. Today, my brother watched Japan-A-Mania in class. I guess they had a substitute teacher that happened to be a coaster fanatic and decided to reward the class with a TPR DVD....I bet most of those kids, if not all of them, were left completely clueless as far as TPR jokes go. They saw Disc 1, the one with the Escalator Ride.
  11. I just had my bro try on full speed but he couldn't get in the first butt spanking.
  12. My senses tell me that a possibility for a Wario Ware video contest could happen.
  13. Yay! Ikea in Dublin! That's real close to here, only 10 minutes versus 30 mins on a clear freeway.
  14. Set your router to channels 1 or 11. That's what I did with mine when I kept getting error codes accessing the Wii Shop Channel. Ever since setting mine to 1, it worked fine, fast connection.
  15. Reviving what you said...and reassuring what you said. I just called EBGames/Gamestop and all of the locations are going to have a massive sale of Nintendo stuff, have Wii's, 'motes (Or "wands" as the worker called them), 'chuks, and all that stuff available this Sunday. Those who are still Wii-less or missing Wiimotes/Nunchuks, may want to call your Gamestop/EBGames and see if they're part of it, and when to get there by...
  16. Your video lead me to disappointment this morning when I put on my TPR shirt...hoping it would magically warp me to some random off-the-wall park like Fantazy Land or some screwed up Togo Land.
  17. Me thinks I'm going to give that a shot...I have some extra weight I could lose anyway. After 5 rounds yesterday, I must say that I'm now experiencing the Wii Elbow...which I'll overcome with conditioning. I almost never use my left arm playing Wii so it's not used to the fast movements. I got another crazy boxing video, better quality Not recorded on cell phone this time.
  18. School, work, NL, and Wii. But due to school and work, the off season lasts about 90% of the year...so I guess the off season doesn't hit me as hard as others as I'm so used to it. I guess that's also good so I can't get sick of my home parks for when I do get the chance to visit them.
  19. We actually got a light dusting of a more snow-like substance across the bay. (Why couldn't it have been here?). It hit the hills between the SF Bay and Half Moon Bay. Looks like we sent it down your way.
  20. I think our local funcoland/ebgames would have announced it when I called them Anyway, with the addition of my second nunchuk, I finally got to enjoy boxing...or in my case, worry about boxing. Watch this cell phone video my bro recorded of us boxing to find out. I'm in the brown/black hoodie, cousin's in the light blue closer to the camera/phone. I was inches from getting clobbered in the neck by the wiimote.
  21. Is it me or does the new logo look kinda 'amateurish'? For some reason, to me, it looks like it was kinda slapped together at the last minute, throw in some clipart, and voila! New name for a themepark..
  22. I have French, German, Irish, Portuguese, American, and of course, a touch of Wierd.
  23. I just recieved my magical Donkey shirt today...pretty good quality I must say. Too bad I didn't wind up at some random off-the-wall theme park
  24. I actually managed to get 1 nunchuk out of a whole whopping 4 that the store recieved today...well, it's a start.
  25. I can't get past the spanky dance part. It was funny watching my bro doit though as he got all into it, down to shaking the butt. And lastly, gotta love the hot pinkage going on the game's case. For those who haven't seen the case in person, it's not the "Xcelerator" pink...it's a really vibrant "OMG look it's t3h pink!!" hot pink shade. By the way, anyone notice (in the instruction book) that Nintendo has their end covered as far as those many idiotic Wii players out there who either beat up their friends senselessly or randomly chuck a wiimote at the TV or randomly smash a ceiling fan's lights. Basically, it says to make sure you're clear of everything, and not be fidgeting like you've got bugs allover you. Pink eye...
