  1. 1.Rock n' Roller Coaster 2.Expedition Everest 3.Batwing (SFAm)
  2. Disney/Universal: Test Track, Haunted Mansion, Expedition Everest, Cars, Dragon Challenge Other: Wild Eagle, Cheetah Hunt, Verbolten
  3. I have a question: if coasters like Beast, Magnum XL, Nitro, and Apollo's Chariot etc can make their way onto certain Top Ten lists year in and year out, then why do certain coasters like Shivering Timbers, Ride of Steel, and Raven who were once NUMBER ONE on those very same lists, do not even make the Top 20 anymore? I'm starting to believe that quality in general is underrated, and that nostalgia can be overrated.
  4. Score one for team Mean Streak. I thought I was the only one that liked that ride. While it's nowhere near 2nd place on my list, I agree it's not as bad as people whine about. Big and fast, just not very exciting.
  5. Confirmed: Early Spring - SFGadv Early Summer - Cedar Point Late Summer - Luna Park (as part of my NYC honeymoon) Likely: Late Fall - Kennywood Hopeful: Late Spring - Dollywood/Kentucky Kingdom
  6. I've never been on Dodonpa, but in the meantime, Xcelerator and Storm Runner both get my vote.
  7. 1, X2 2. Magnum XL200 3. Tennessee Tornado 4. Loch Ness Monster 5. Vortex / The Bat
  8. ^ Leafs fans cheering "GO LEAFS GO" at a Bills game? Might as well chant "GO GO POWER RANGERS!"
  9. Goliath and Shivering Timbers both had good pulls in the back seat. Almost felt like I was on a steel coaster
  10. ^ I hope to ride it sometime Xcelerator, Storm Runner, and Dragster also all give a nice pop of airtime at their crest. In my opinion, El Toro takes the cake for airtime strength. Phoenix wins for overall airtime quality and enjoyability. Magnum and Skyrush COULD be the best/most enjoyable for steel airtime if only they would do something with the restraints. But then again, just my opinion
  11. ^^ Mean Streak is a victim of a severe trimjob during the first drop. Not it's fault. Silver bullet is not steep, but not to the point where it should merit a "that entire ride sucked my left nut" bad. As for "lamest" first drops on an "adult" coaster, Time warp (and associates) has a 54" height requirement, so in my opinion, look no further!
  12. In recent memory, Volcano at KD and Cars were both 2 hours. Cars wasn't that bad because they were selling drinks and snacks in the lines. More parks ought to follow suit!
  13. Low capacity. The trains only take 12 riders at a time. That's only 36 riders for three trains.
  14. ^ This is why I always hit Fahrenheit right at the beginning of the day. Walked on twice in a row at 10am. It only gets worse from there.
  15. ^^ The only thing I measure on the metric scale is Kilometers and Kilometers per hour for driving. Thats it. Beyond that its all Imperial. I laugh at any time Canada gets "10 cm" of snow, because I always catch myself trying to convert it to inches in order to understand
  16. ^^ They still shouldn't be separated by more than 50+ spots though! If Mitch Hawker doesn't come out with polls this year, I say TPR should do one. It'd be fun!
  17. Lots of complaints about Intimidator here... its not its absolute ranking I find confusing, its the relativity and inconsistency in the voting that makes no sense. If it can rank 7 or 8, then why is Behemoth - a remarkably similar ride - ten spots behind it... with I305 and Dragster in between them somehow? And how can Bizarro finish 2 and Ride of Steel not even crack the top 50??
